Episode 31: Guardon: Planet of Fire
Liberta stood before the other members of the Shitenou. None of them realized his absence.
"How can a human like you, be allowed to join? What is Donores thinking!?" A long black haired boy sneered, "Right, Ryugel-nee-nee?"
The white haired Shintenou next to him just frowned at his brother's comment.
"I heard he isn't a normal human, Gandales…" The shortest of the Shintenou cackled. "Well?" he turned to Liberta.
Liberta smiled mockingly, "Like I'd tell you, shorty." As he said that, the only female Shitenou, Hilary, tried to attack him with her long hair. Seeing this, Liberta jumped out of its reach.
"Tch…" she frowned.
Ryugel glanced over to Balga, "You've fought against him, what you think?"
Balga snorted, "I-I don't care…"
"Hm?" the white-haired boy looked over at the newcomer with curiousity, "Seems we won't be bored for a while…" he smiled along with his brother.
"What's with this planet!? It's even hotter than Sandorius!" Sakura wheezed as she tried to cool herself with the fan, but only warm air was blown making it feel even hotter.
"I'm fine with this." Komori smiled as she skipped along the rocky path of the planet. Ygg too, was unaffected by the weather and pranced along with her.
"I guess Narukami and Han aren't coming out…" Tenma sighed as he glanced back at the Galaxy Notes.
"Let's let them be for now…" Kusaka said to the captain.
"…yeah…"
"Alsius… are you using you're magic to cool yourself…?" Minaho asked.
The girl answered by putting her hand out and Minaho gasped at its freezing touch. "My magic is quite handy."
"Can you cool others?" Matatagi asked.
"Nope."
"Huh? That's not fair!" Sakura pouted.
"I have to agree with Nozaki-san…" Manabe nodded fixing his glasses. The heat had caused them to fog up, making his vision unclear.
Alsius laughed, "Well, I'm not going to stop using it. I'll just enjoy watching you guys suffer."
"Als, Ygg don't like much…"
"…Als…?"
Ygg ignored her.
"Welcome to Planet Guardon." Since this was a planet the Earth Eleven was meant to play in, Ishigashi had come to lead them through this new place.
Ygg quickly hid behind Tenma, glaring at the tour guide. "No ask…" he whispered to the captain, so he didn't.
"As usual, you may use the time until the match however you like…"
"Yay!" the kids cheered as Liberta showed them some toys he just made for them. Simple ones he whipped up with the supplies he found in their junk yards.
"Take your turns, I have lot's so don't push." He laughed as he handed each of them one.
"Is this what you came to do?"
Liberta looked at the direction of the voice and noticed Tsurugi. The tanned boy laughed, "Hmf, I don't want to be told by you… I heard everything, you were proposed by a loli-princess."
Tsurugi blushed angrily, "Anyways, what's the reason you joined the Shitenou? You guys from Melfelse are so suspicious…"
Liberta smiled, "Hm… I wonder…"
"Stop toying with me…"
"Hey, that was a good one, I'm handing toys and toying with you…" Liberta smirked, "You have other matters to worry about Tsurugi-kun… haha."
"Stop laughing!"
"I guess you'd be King Kyousuke… KK, pft! That's like dog singer in that DS game… Hahahahaha! That's a riot!"
"Shut… up…" the ace striker blushed. His gaze suddenly saddened, "This planet's… broken…"
Liberta frowned, "What planet isn't? If you're worried about Lalaya, I wouldn't bother. Thinking of other planet's problems is just a waste of time."
Tsurugi shook his head, "I don't think that…" the striker started to walk away, "I promised Lalaya I'd return, I have things to tell her…"
"Hmf," Liberta sighed. He looked up at the sky, "Doesn't seem like the one we're searching for isn't on this planet either…"
"Argh, it's too hot!" Ibuki growled as he sat against the rock. The team was practicing to attempt to get used to Guardon's intense heat.
"Make sure you all frequently hydrate." Aoi yelled out bringing out water bottles for everyone.
Shindou grabbed one and started gulping it down. He took a seat next to Ibuki sighing tiredly. "This is going to be tough…"
"Yeah…" Ibuki groaned then suddenly stood up, "Hey, do you hear that?"
Shindou shook his head.
Regardless, the keeper decided to see what was making the strange noise he was hearing and Shindou followed.
"Captain, is it okay if I can head back to the Galaxy Notes?" Tetsukado suddenly asked.
Tenma was confused t first, but then realized, "You're worried about Narukami, huh? Sure!"
"Thanks…" the boy bowed and headed back to the train.
Narukami was talking to someone on a monitor in front of him.
"Hm… so that happened…" the figure on the screen sighed.
"I-I just don't know anymore… maybe the reason I'm still here is because I…" Narukami choked.
"Are you having fun playing on Earth Eleven?"
"Huh?"
The figure smiled, "Did you meet someone you can call a friend?"
Narukami thought for a bit, "I-it's fun… to hand out with guys my age besides Haku or Han. Especially with Shin…"
"Did you every think of telling him everything? He's the one you brought to me, right?"
Narukami paused, "I'm scared… to tell him. If he knows what I am…" he clenched his hand over his left chest, "he'll be afraid of me and avoid me…"
The figure continued smiling, "You'll be okay. I felt a strong bond between you two. He'll understand."
Another voice resounded, "Sorry you two, but time's up. I can't connect any longer…"
Narukami nodded, "Thanks, Asmu-san, Lapin."
The screen vanished leaving the defender alone once again. He closed his eyes, deep in thought. Then the doorbell of his room rang.
"Naoto, are you in there?"
Narukami flinched. Then started to chuckle to himself. What timing.
"Are you alright?" Tetsukado asked as Narukami opened the door.
Taking a deep breath, Narukami spoke, "Will… you listen… to my story?"
Tetsukado noticed his friend trembling, he understood, "If it's alright with you. But don't push yourself too much."
