Episode 36: Shadowborn

"Alsius, are you alright?" Aoi asked.

The Melfen got out of the water. Her clothes almost dried as immediately as she got out. "What..." She groaned.

"Haku, are you okay?" Narukami repeated.

Alsius frowned, "I'm fine. Strange... I thought we were playing against Guardon."

"Don't worry, we won!" Aoi smiled. She helped Alsius up.

"I can walk..." Alsius mumbled.

"Alsius!" The members of Earth Eleven smiled as the midfielder entered the cafeteria.

"We were so worried!" Tenma exclaimed.

Alsius sighed, "Sorry, the heat must've gotten to me..."

"Uh... Yeah..."

"Seems she really doesn't recall what happened..." Manabe whispered.

"Well, Matatagi-kun didn't either." Minaho pointed out.

The striker frowned, "Remember what?"

"Nothing."

"Ah!" Tenma suddenly gasped surprising everyone. "The shard, I completely forgot about it!"

The captain then ran out of the door.

"Wait, Tenma!" Shindou tried to stop him. Though confused, everyone head out outside to follow their captain.

"Tch, stupid earthlings..." Rodan kicked the wall in rage. "Its all because of those useless bird people..."

"Yeah, you're absolutely correct."

Rodan turned to see a young Faram Obieus boy standing before him. They were inside the palace, there was no way a regular citizen could be here.

"I wouldn't go any further in..." The boy cackled, "Xerxes-nii started his plan..." A light enveloped the faram obieus boy, changing his appearance.

"I'm Konan, i feel like I could work with you Rodan." He cackled, "want to do something fun...?"

Rodan grinned, he liked this guy for some reason, "let's hear what's up, hmmm?"

Konan sneered, "Okey dokey. Here's the plan."

"Phew... I'm so glad I remembered on time..." Tenma sighed as he carefully held the red stone. After a short hunt, the members were heading back to Galaxy Notes to make their way to the next planet.

Han flinched. He started to sniff the air, "Don't tell me..."

"Ahh... It's so stupid hot here..." A young gothic girl sighed while sitting on some machine which levitated her. She had long black hair tied in two pigtails. A strange black spot covered the right side of her face.

Beside her a boy about 15, older than her, stood with his arms crossed. He also had the black spot on his face, but on his left side.

"Who are you guys!" Shindou demanded.

The girl giggled, "aww, what a cutie... Can I have you...?" She lifted her hand and a strange circle was drawn on the ground beneath Shindou.

"What?" The circle shot out a strange dark energy enveloping the boy. "Argh!"

"Shoot!" Han gasped as he tried to pull Shindou out of the dark energy, but was flung back by it.

When the energy dispersed, the mid-fielder stood unharmed, except for the strange black spot which appeared on the left side of his face.

"Shindou Takuto, hmm..." The girl giggled, "You'll make fine servant for Alicia."

Shindou bowed, against his will, "yes, my princess..."

"What you do to Shindou!?" Ibuki demanded.

Han didn't wait for the answer, he knew who this gothic girl was. He lunged at the enemy.

"I won't let you go this time, Han-chan!" She created another circle beneath him.

Komori was ahead of her and quickly pulled Han away from it. The aura missed him.

"Thanks..." Han huffed.

"A-Alsius!?" Matatagi gasped.

The girl was frozen with fear. She wrapped her arms around her, eyes locked on the boy with the black spot．

Matatagi looked closely at the boy, then remembered him from somewhere. Alsius' Memory!

"Nacht, we got one, let's go for now... Its way to hot here."

"Yes, my princess." He smiled. He gave one last sneer towards Alsius before disappearing. Taking Shindou along with them.

"Shindou-senpai!" Tenma cried.

Ibuki growled, "We have to chase them!"

"How, we don't know who they were or where they were headed." Minaho pointed out.

"I believe the Melfen know a thing or two about them..." Manabe fixed his foggy glasses.

"Han, you seemed to know that girl..." Tenma said.

Han nodded, "She's Alicia, one if the seven Shadowborn."

"Shadowborn?"

The boy continued, "A strange being created from the Tenebrae. They're for some reason chosen by the Arcana, but don't side with the organization. Alicia has the power to manipulate people as her own slaves."

"T-then Shindou-senpai's..." Tenma gasped. "We have to go save him!"

"I'm ahead of you..." Zephyr grinned, "I got a pulse radar Liberta made for me on that guy with her. Sends waves only I can detect so we can find their location."

"Wow, when'd you manage that...?" Kusaka laughed.

They needed to focus on getting Shindou-kun back now. "Zephyr, are they still on Guardon?" Narukami asked.

The blind boy nodded, "though I don't for how much longer..."

"W-we can't waste any more time!" Kusaka gasped.

"Leave this to us, No. 20 Judgement, the rest of you can wai-"

"No!" Tenma frowned, "I want to help save Shindou-senpai!"

Ibuki nodded, "I'm not gonna just wait." He punched his fist into his other hand's palm, "I'm coming too!"

Han sighed, "no, no! You guys are just normal humans, you'll only get in the way."

"Even so, we want to save him!" The captain argued.

"Tenma won't change his mind..." Aoi laughed.

"Why not split the group into two?" Narukami suggested.

"No!" Han growled, "Shadowborn aren't something humans should attempt fighting against!"

"Han..." Tenma whispered, "but, I'm still going! Shindou-san's my-our teammate, we can't leave him behind!"

The rest of earth eleven nodded in agreement.

"I cannot allow that."

Kuroiwa Coach walked up. "Shindou has fulfiled his necessary role, so he isn't absolutely needed for the team. We'll continue the tournament without him."

"Like we can do something like that!" Kusaka snapped.

"If you don't like it, leave the team." Coach Kuroiwa stated, "though you won't be escorted back." He sneered in the end.

"Kuroiwa Coach!?" Tenma gasped.

Kuroiwa Coach didn't say anything else and started to make his way to the galaxy notes.

Tenma clenched his fist, "then I'm not going."

The coach stopped in his tracks.

"We need Shindou-senpai! We're only truly Earth eleven when everyone is here!"

The other members exchanged glances, mumbling in agreement to their captain.

Kuroiwa Coach sneered, "Yet you still didn't notice..."

"Huh?"

"I will allow the search of Shindou Takuto." The coach said before entering the train.

Tenma brightened up. He turned to Zephyr, "where are they now."

Zephyr frowned, "...fine. They seem to have stopped on another planet. Hmmm, Dorudella, Planet Dorudella."

Episode 37 preview

To rescue the abducted Shindou, Earth Eleven find themselves in the aquatic planet of Dorudella. Despite its name very little water is actually left? What is going on in this planet!? And something seems to wrong with Han! Episode 37: Dorudella: Planet of Disaster.
