Bella's Pov (present day)

I cursed quietly under my breath, one simple thing I asked him just one…

"So you are?" my father asked Edward and his siblings in amusement, "Edward Cullen" they shook hands my father looked amused, "and these are my brother Jasper and his wife Alice" Edward introduced them.

"Welcome to our home" Elijah stepped in, "so" Kol asked amused as well, "what brings you by?" he put his hands behind him.

"Kol don't be rude" Aunt Rebekah said in a bored tone, "yes im curious about that myself" Klaus asked ignoring his sister's comment.

Edward made brief eye contact with me before looking at my father in the eye "I came to see if Bella got a ride home okay" Edward lied easily.

"Huh" my father answered, 'you're the boyfriend right" it came out more like a fact than a question. "Yes I am sir" Edward said with confidence.

I shut my eyes hoping this was a dream, "and a vampire as well" Dad was putting everything in order putting piece by piece, I opened my eyes and saw back to the conversation, Edward nodded, "yes me and my family are all vampires" Edward did the talking.

"and we know you and your family are as well" Alice put in; my father's eyes widen and looked at me smiling, "how much do you know about us Love?" my father asked her, "your original vampires except you and Bella who are half vampires and half werewolf" Alice said quickly.

My whole family looked at me and hid their emotion I turned away not daring to look at them in the eye, "why don't you and your family come back for dinner later tonight say around 7 and we'll continue on with this conversation" Elijah negotiated, the Cullen siblings nodded in agreement, "I'll walk you to the door" I said quickly wanting to talk to them alone.

'just one thing Edward just one little simple thing I ask you not to do …and you do it" I yelled/ whispered at Edward as we reached the door, "im sorry but I was worried about you" he confessed, I shut my eyes, "fine" I gave in, "we'll be back for dinner don't worry love" he kissed my cheek before leaving in the Volvo and driving away.

"Isabella Marie Mikaelson" my father said quietly enough for only a vampire to hear, I closed the door and made my way back to the living room.

"How dare you lie to our faces?" my father anger tone made me scared to even answer, "ANSWER ME!" he yelled.

"Im sorry" I whimpered out, "tell us everything you told them Isabella" Kol said trying to keep his tone from so much anger…and I did I told them everything from how I was born to how to we can't be killed.

In anger my father threw a 700 year old glass vase to the wall which made me scream, "Niklaus stop your scaring your daughter" Rebekah noticed and came to me and held me as I cried.

"And she should she put our lives at right brother" Klaus yelled at Uncle Elijah, "and we can compelle them when they come over" Elijah said calmly.

"Fine" with that my father left and I continued to cry on my aunt's shoulders.

I took a long warm bath to calm myself down, I saw I had only little time to get ready, I got out and dried myself I curled my hairs so they were jumpy around my face and shoulders, I walked to my closet and got out a simple strapless silk black dress that reached to the ground along with some black heals, my makeup was natural.

"Don't you look beautiful" my uncle Kol came in, "haven't you heard of knocking?" I asked annoyed he gave me a grin, "yes somewhere around a thousand years ago I think" he joked along, "Isabella" he said in a more serious tone.

I sighed, "Yes?"

"how much do you love this boy?" he asked out of the blue, my eyes widen, but I answered truthfully, "more than I should" I confessed as I looked at myself into the mirror, Kol got up from the bed and put his hand on my shoulder, "than tonight trust us your family were only doing what's right" before I could say anything else he left my room vampire speed.

I was confused but put it aside and wondered how dinner was going to go tonight.

"I'll get it!" I yelled as soon as the doorbell rang, "no sit" my uncle Elijah ordered, and I couldn't object his authority…actually not many.

I walked to the dining room, my father was at the head of the table, my uncle Elijah and Kol on his left while my Aunt Rebekah and I on his right, a girl that was so totally compelled came in with the Cullen following her, "The Cullens" her voice said and then left.

"Please sit" my father extended his arm as Carlisle sat at the other end of the table with Esme, Rosalie and Alice on his right, right next to me, and Edward, Jasper and Emmett on his left close to my uncles.

I really wish Edward was next to me but I was fine with Alice here too, "Welcome to our home I hope you will find it comfortable" my father started the conversation, Carlisle smiled kindly, "im sure we will"

"But first you must be…thirsty" my father had a smirk on his face the kind of smirk that made you know he was hiding something but that you could trust him.

He snapped his fingers and a few girls around there early 20s came in, I knew what he was paling, "is this really necessary" I asked angry he would do this but not surprised at all' my father choose to ignore me "I hope you like Blood when its fresh" my father then grabbed a blonde's wrist into his hand and bite it. The girl wince but didn't say anything.

I saw the Cullens flinch as the smell of Blood came into the room, immediately jasper and Emmett ran away outside into the cool air, their wives following them; Esme stuck around and held it in, Edward di as well.

"Thank you for the offer but I don't think Bella told you that were Vegetarian vampires we only drink the blood of animals" Carlisle said with authority in his tone.

My father smirked with blood on the side of his mouth, "Ohh she told us but I need to get…the one I wanted to stay here" he then looked at Edward.

"No!" I screamed instantly within the blink of an eye, Rebekah had me in her arms holding my tight, Kol was holding Esme while Elijah held Carlisle with struggle as Carlisle and Esme tried to save their youngest son from the raft my father was about to put before him.
