Hi! Hm, well, I know there was something I wanted to say before posting the chapter but I forgot so I guess that if I remember it will go on the next chapter. I am sorry since I have not been replying to the comments and reviews as I normally did, but College has really sucked up every second of my life.
This chapter is a little different because it's not a narration from Alex as usual. Still, we hope you like it.
36- Recovering from last night
Alexandra came into the dining room that was set aside for her and the other three members of the fellowship that were present. More than walk, she dragged her feet as she made her way to the table, moaning and grimacing as she pressed a hand over her butt cheeks. Legolas and Gimli, who were already sitting by the table, turned around and looked at her.
"Legolas, you blasted elf! What did you do to her last night?" Gimli barked, taking in how beaten Alex looked.
"I did nothing she did not wanted me to!" he said, defensively.
"Last night you two were in there at it for a long time. You were supposed to make her feel good, not make her come out in the morning, limping and moaning. What did you do, wrestle with her? No wonder I heard so much tossing around, screaming and moaning. What will Aragorn say when he finds out?"
Alexandra finally reached the table and made to sit, but just as her butt began to touch the seat, she yelped and leaned over the table, moaning miserably.
"I did try to be gentle and make her feel good, but she forced me to be rough," said Legolas as he stood up and walked over to a small pole where his cape was hanging. He took it, folded it and placed it on the seat as a cushion, motioning Alex to sit on it. She grimaced as she managed to sit and folded her arms over the table before hiding her face in them.
"I thought that elves of all creatures would be gentle when dealing with a lady in such manners," said Gimli as he ran a soothing hand on Alexandra's back.
"I told she gave me no choice. I had hardly began to touch her when she reached for me and tore my tunic off! I had to restrain her arms but she just slipped off my grasp and tackled me. She even pinned me to the floor! I had to tie her down to the bed post in order to get started, and when I finally got to work, she still managed to slip from her bonds and held a fierce grip on me, and she wouldn't even let me pull it out!"
Gimli looked slightly stunned for a moment before laughing.
"So you do like doing things the hard way, huh lassie?" he said with a fatherly tone.
Just then the sound of pottery breaking and two different female gasps interrupted the three friends. Everyone turned their heads to see two maids who were standing under the frame of a door they had not seen before. This was a storage room after all, and there were a few doors that led to the kitchen or other places, but Legolas had not noticed this one even if it was slightly opened and it hit him then that their conversation had been eavesdropped so he darted to his feet and ran to where the two women were, trying desperately to pick up their mess and run away before being caught.
Legolas intercepted them as they were about to run off.
"Wait! Ladies, I, you heard our conversation?"
The two young maids exchanged frightened looks that were enough to answer Legolas' question. He sighed and opened his mouth to explain, but the unthinkable happened, Legolas blushed. Alexandra could not help a roaring laugh as she took in the sight. Legolas looked over his shoulder and glared at her. Alex could not care less what these 'proper' ladies thought of her and what she did, but she sure enjoyed the redness in Legolas' face.
End of flashback
"And that is what happened," said Legolas.
"So how did you manage to get the arrow head from her posterior?" Aragorn asked, laughing.
"After I managed to get free from her vice grip, I had to tie her down almost from top to bottom. She made the wound worse by struggling so much, but it is still not a serious wound. The area is very tender is all," he sighed. "I almost could not resist the urge to dart towards Eowyn and beg her on my knees to tend to her instead of me, but all the women were tending much more serious wounds, and she of all women should be there for her people at this hour of need, and you were meeting with the King."
"I suppose that she will not be accompanying us to Isenguard?"
"She literally jumped on my neck and almost strangled me when I told her to get ready for the ride. She will return to Edoras with Eowyn. Though, I do not know how she will walk that distance if it took her almost ten minutes to get from the door to the table this morning," he added with teasing smile.
Aragorn laughed. "You sure know how to handle a lady, Legolas."
The elf blushed slightly and looked around to see if anyone else had heard him. He frowned at his friend as he spoke in a hushed voice.
"You are beginning to sound like Alexandra."
Aragorn laughed. "I think we are all being affected by her."
I don't know if I said this before, but updates will be around twice a week, mostly between Mondays and Wednesdays.
