14. Doppelganger's Blood

Bella's Pov (Present)

I shook my head, tears wanting to spill, "no…no…no they-they Edward…Edward wouldn't do that he wouldn't lie to me" I tried to convince myself more than my family.

My father hugged me as I cried into his shirt, he stroked my hair "Edward wouldn't do that to me, he just wouldn't" I sobbed into his chest.

"But he did Isabella, he betrayed you" my father whispered into my ear, I pushed away from him and dried my tears, "what makes you think they have the doppelgänger's location "I said through my teeth.

Klaus just smiled, "Carlisle was the one who took away Katherine's daughter when she was born. He was supposed to kill her like her father instructed but instead gave the newborn child to another couple who was expecting and made them twins with a boy and a girl" he explained and my eyes widen, "the doppelgänger is born every 500 years and I wanted to make sure each female or male of the Petrova family reproduced. But after 100 years when Katherine's child was born I found Carlisle and made him tell me where he took the baby…"

"And?" I asked more curious about the story, Klaus sighed with anger, "He wouldn't tell me…and he managed to escape"

"So what makes you think he knows where the family bloodline is now?" I asked excited to know more about what was so special about the doppelgängers.

My father just smiled, "Oh I found a doppelgänger unfortunately she was turned into a vampire" I sighed and my father continued on, "Katherine had a younger sister whom also had children and I followed her bloodline instead…and it was weak. No use so know I must get Carlisle to tell me where Katherine's bloodline goes"

"Why do you want the doppelgänger's location so bad?" I asked him, he hadn't told me why he wanted her for just that he needed it, "To help me turn werewolves into hybrids like me and you Isabella" Klaus answered me while looking into the distance. I stood there shocked at his response, 't-t-that's impossible, you have to be born like me and you…..right?"

My father just chuckled at my foolishness he then came and placed his hands on my shoulders and made me look at him, his eyes were full and black, "If I give werewolves my blood and snap there neck and when they wake up we feed them the doppelgänger's blood and they turn into hybrids that follow my ever command"

"They're sired to you" I said with no emotion, Klaus nodded and had a smirk plastered on his face. "This is the start of a new species that is under my control Isabella"

I nodded, "What do you need?"
