Chapter 49: Faram Obieus: New Truth

Nervous murmers arose from the crowd; the game was too long, the score was too close. This left the people uncertain and fear seeped within the air.

Tenma was well aware of this, no, the entire team was. However, they knew they must contin

ue playing, the earthlings were ready to hold everyone's hopes on their shoulders. Determination shone in their eyes.

Alsius watched quietly along with the other Melfelse players from the bench. Her eyes wandered up to the stands where the two princess' Lalaya and Katra watched the game. The time was soon.

Ozlock gave barely any time for a break as both teams stood in their respective positions. Earth Eleven's line-up was as follows:

Tsurugi-Matatagi

Tenma

Kusaka-Sakura

Shindou

Konoha-Minaho-Manabe-Tetsukado

Ibuki

The original members of the team, it was the best way to end their long journey as they remembered how their world tournament began. It was time to show their improvements.

The score was tied, the first goal would win the game. The fated whistle blew and immediately the crowd held their breaths.

Ixal Fleet quickly took their formations for Berserk Ray, the harsh light stopped Earth Eleven from being able to use their souls. "I will crush you...!" The Ixal captain cackled as he began dribbling the ball towards Tenma. Ozlock proceeded to pass it to a teammate by kicking the ball at the weakened brown haired boy, knocking him to the ground.

"Tenma!"

"I will let the world know, the despair I had to go through...! The pain I went through!"

Tenma staggered to his feet, grinning despite the pain in his belly, "I will take that pain, Ozlock." The boy spoke with a trembling voice, "And I'll respond to it, with my Soccer!"

Ozlock was taken aback by the Earthling's unwavering eyes. Eyes which shone with confedience, not hate.

"Tch, captain. You're too good of a person..." Matatagi smirked as he quickly stole the ball from the surprised Ozlock. When an Ixal player attempted to steal the ball back, Matatagi quickly passed it to Kusaka.

The large boy grinned, "Even without souls, we'll keep playing...! Morimura!"

The small defender received the ball, dribbling it up, "Because we have Friends, we can be stronger!" The green haired girl held back her fear, eyes focused up ahead. When an Ixal defender slid towards her, Konoha kicked the ball behind her to Shindou.

The midfielder grinned as he held both hands out, "Can't deny that you've all improved, Kami no Takuto, Fire Illusion!" From Shindou's hands, laces of fire appeared as he directed his teammates like a conductor.

Sakura followed the line which was drawn before her and Shindou passed his fellow midfielder the ball.

Sakura guided the ball along her lifted legs, imagining herself performing her gymnastics routine. "There's no point if we can't become number one!" The pink haired girl leaped up to pass the ball to Tenma.

The ball didn't reach the captain however. Instead, an Ixal defender slid himself in between the balls course, successfully stealing it. He then proceeded to bring it forward.

"It's time to try our new hissatsu, huh Manabe-kun." Minaho grinned.

The other boy fixed his glasses calmly, "Of course Minaho-kun, let's show how much we have improved, shall we?"

Standing side by side and facing the incoming opponent, the two boys pointed one hand out infront, "Winning Logic!" creating graph-like dimmensions, the two defenders ran towards their opponent, attacking him from either side and successfully snagging the ball's possesion.

"Nice, Minaho, Manabe!"

"Of course." Manabe grinned triumphantly as he proceeded to pass the ball up again.

"Without souls, you guys do not stand a chance!" Ozlock growled as he instructed his teammates.

An Ixal defender unleashed his soul, transforming into a small one-eyed lizard-like creature. It slashed its claws at its opponent, successfully stealing the ball.

"Everyone, regain your positions!" Tenma yells and the team quickly runs to their defensive formation.

"Too late..." Ozlock leaped up into the air after kicking the ball upwards, which became numerous rays of light. The Ixal captain then commanded all the rays to shoot down towards the net, "Star Gazer!"

The Earth Eleven defenders bravely went into the hissatsu shoot's path, attempting to at least weaken its power.

The white haired keeper grinned, "Leave the rest to me!" He leaped up into the air, concentrating wind energy onto his fists as it whipped up into a shape of a dragon, Ibuki slammed it down into the incoming ball, "Gekirin Dunk!" The ball spun violently under his palm at first, but eventually was tamed. The large grin remained on Earth Eleven's keeper as he picked the ball up, showing it off to the forward who had kicked it.

The crowd cheered wildely, enjoying Ibuki's cocky attitude. As the boy wiped his sweat off his face, he noticed his arms were shaking. His teammates were aware of this too; they couldn't let Ixal shoot again.

"Tetsukado!" Ibuki kicked the ball to the former-boxer.

The red skinned boy gave his team a short nod before beginning to dribble the ball up. Despite dribbling not being his specialty, Tetsukado was able to side-step the opposing Ixal player. "Don't be afraid of getting hurt, continue fighting for everyone, our friends on earth!" The defender then kicked the ball up to Tsurugi.

"Go! Tsurugi!" His teammates yelled as the dark striker performed his hissatsu.

"Bicycle Sword!"

The pale, white haired Ixal keeper calmly put his hand out, stopping the ace strikers shoot with ease. The ball seemed to have been gently thrown to him instead of shot.

"Guess this is your limit."

Tsurugi clenched his teeth, but quickly forced himself back to his calm expression, "I will get it in next time."

The time passed without either team scoring. Even the members of Ixal were showing their fatigue.

Matatagi panted heavily, greatly irritated to the stalemate of the match. He glanced angrily at his team's captain, eyes widening once he noticed the brown haired boy's expression.

Matsukaze Tenma, captain of Earth Eleven's team, on the match which determined the galaxy's fate, was smiling.

He was enjoying...the game.

"I won't give up! If we do our best, soccer will answer positively!"

Matatagi slowly smirked. "Captain, I hate people like you." He stood by the boy's side. "Let's end this match..."

Tenma nodded.

"Only you can keep up with my speed. Don't mess up on purpose to prolong this match any more."

Tenma smiled slightly before running to get open, receiving the ball quickly. "Matatagi!"

With that signal, the brown haired forward ran up towards the net.

Noticing this, Ozlock quickly ran towards the captain to steal the ball.

"Z-Slash!" Tenma zig zagged away from the Ixal, dodging him successfully.

Tenma then stored power onto the ball before kicking it past Matatagi. The swift ex-track athlete ran easily beside the shoot, leaping up along with it.

"Black Dawn!"

Matatagi kicked the large sphere of dark energy down towards the enemy goal.

The keeper flinched slightly at the shoot, but was quickly able to transform into his soul, a large black tentacled beast. Slamming its large head against the shoot, the beast attempted to stop it.

As his soul form was dispelled, the ball continued past him and into the net.

"We did it...we won...! We didn't lose...!" Lalaya gasped happily. "The entire Galaxy is saved." The queen turned to the former Kiel princess, but paused when she noticed something wasn't right with her.

"Tch."

"Huh?"

"Even, Bitway Ozlock is useless. Waste of my time..." Katra sighed.

"K-Katra-sama...?" Potomuri stammered.

Strange tatoo markings appeared on the princess' face. Holding her hand out in front of her, she shattered the window before her with ease. Katra then proceeded to fly down to the stadium.

"K-Katra...!?" Tenma smiled, "We did it! We saved the Galaxy."

"Yes... Yes you did..." Katra sneered. She held her hand out and shot a unknown force in the Earth Eleven captain's direction.

Ozlock reacted by pushing Tenma aside, taking the blow for him. The Ixal was easily flung to the otherside of the stadium.

"Ozlock-sama...!?" Ishigashi gasped.

"Katra... What are you..."

"Tch, getting in the way..." The princess cursed before smiling sweetly, "I guess you can't expect others to do a job meant for yourself."

"Katra... What do you me..."

"Ahh, quiet, quiet... I'm so done with the goodie two shoes act..." The princess growled, showing her true face. Her mouth curved into a sneer and her former soft eyes were sharp.

"Hmf, I knew she was hiding something..." Matatagi growled.

"Pr... Princess... Katra..." Ozlock huffed as he tried to stand, "what is the... Meaning of this..."

"How does it feel, Ozlock... To be used by the one you assumed to be using..."

"What...?"

Katra chuckled malaciously, "But in the end, you were useless..." She held her hand out once more, "...disappear."

Tremendous power gathered around Katra's palm as she aimed it towards the injured Ixal captain.

"Ozlock-sama...!" His teammates started to desperately run to his side.

"Heh... Hm?"

Tenma stood in between the princess and her target, "Katra what happened? Why are you doing this...?"

Katra snorted, "Still can't figure out that you were merely used for my plan? If Kiel wasn't given a chance... why can Faram and every planet be...?" She released the energy bullet.

Tenma tensed up, waiting for the impact, however it never came. Small cold shards sprinkled in the air around him.

"Alsius... what is the meaning of this?" Katra growled turning to the Melfen girl.

Alsius knelt down, "My apologies... I was reminded on how much Matsukaze Tenma was needed and prevented your attack..."

Katra grinned, "Oh, yes... Thank-you Alsius. You may stand now."

"Hey, what do you mean...?" Matatagi frowned.

"Sorry..." Alsius whispered as she and the other Melfen walked to Katra's side.

"W-what...?"

"Naoto...?" Tetsukado whispered in shock.

"Han...!" Shindou gasped.

"Komori, you too!?"

Kusaka clenched his teeth, "Z-Zephyr..."

"You've wondered why we joined Earth Eleven, correct?" Liberta sighed, "We were hired as spies, by Katra."

"Sorry to interrupt your moment, but I would like to continue..." Katra giggled, "Everyone of Earth Eleven, thank-you for gathering all the shards for me; for creating the life energy for me; and I guess for preventing Ixal's attack, though I didn't expect that."

"So, we were being used from the very beginning...?" Minaho stated quite calmly.

"At least there are some people who understand quickly."

Tenma shook his head, and desperately shouted, "I don't believe that! Katra, Alsius, Narukami, Han, Liberta, Komori, Zephyr; Stop fooling around." The captain refused to believe the truth which was revealed to him.

"Ah... Shut up... Not everything is butterflies and rainbows, Tenma..." Han growled. He shoved his hands in his pockets, mumbling something else.

"Accept what is happening. That is all you need to do." Zephyr mumbled.

Katra spoke up, "I have collected the materials I need. Matsukaze Tenma, if you wish to stop me... Come to the Lost Galaxy. Well, if you can locate it." The Kiel grinned on last time before teleporting away with the Melfen members.

Tenma reached over towards Katra, only to watch her vanish, "No... K-Katra..."

"Ozlock-sama...!" The Ixal members gathered around their captain. He seemed to have broken a few ribs and blood trickled from his mouth as he tried to keep his eyes open.

"We need someone to treat him immediately...!" One of them growled.

Tenma ran up to him, "Y-you saved me..."

Ozlock forced a smile, "Princess Katra is also suffering a darkness like I was... Matsukaze Tenma... please... Release her from it... like you saved me. With your light."

"Ozlock..." Tenma stammered.

"Ishigashi... Please go with them..."

"But, Ozlock-sama...!?"

"Earth Eleven is fatigued... They need everyone's help to complete this hurdle..."

Ishigashi nodded, "Please live, Ozlock-sama."

"Hmf."

"Tenma!"

Tenma turned to see a group of familiar faces. Kazeruma from Sandorius, Powai from Sazanaara, Fezora from Kudaan, Arbega from Guardon, Prince Water from Dorudella, Banda...? from Ratoniik and all five members of the Shitennou; Barga, Hilary, Rodan, Ryugel and Gandales.

"We've come to help you!" Kazeruma nodded.

Powai smiled, "It isn't only Earth's problem anymore."

Fezora nodded.

"Let's show them what we are made out of!" Argeba grinned.

Kusaka stared dumbfounded at the Ratoniik, "B-Banda...?"

"You must be Kusaka-san. I'm Banda's son. You can call me Junior." He smiled.

"S-son...!?"

"Ratoniiks are born from their parent's dead body." Rodan chuckled.

"We, the Shitennou will fight alongside you too!" Barga announced.

"That's how it is." Hilary sighed.

"Everyone..." Tenma gasped.

"Hey, Ryugel-nii... If we're playing on Earth Eleven, does that mean we're Earthlings now...!?" Gandales gasped.

"Don't worry Gandales," the older brother smiled, "I hereby announce that this team, made up of many people of different planets, shall be called Galaxy Eleven!"

"Galaxy Eleven... Yeah! That's sounds cool!" The members agreed.

"Wha..." Ruugel gasped, obviously not expecting to receive praise from someone who was not Gandales.

"Of course it is! Ryugel-nii thought of it!" Gandales grinned.

The older twin laughed nervously, "Y-yeah..."

Water walked up to Tenma. He was holding a jar of water. "I cannot directly assist you in your battle, however, I believe this will be useful."

"Water..."

"You may be unsure of what is coming, however, do not fret. Do as you believe. Your light, your feelings for soccer, can dispel any darkness." Water added in the end, "No matter what the result will be... Don't lose this light."

Tenma didn't fully understand this boy, but nodded.

"Everyone of Galaxy Eleven... Let's go!"

"Yeah!"

Finally. New. Chapter.
