Anywho, in terms of when this oneshot will be published...probably after we're finishing with Ice Age 2! THEN we can add that in while you guys are waiting for me to publish the first chapter for Ice Age 3!

After hurrying back to where the group were originally sleeping, Taura quickly set herself down in between Diego and Manny (and quietly, just in case Diego would wake up) and went to sleep, looking like she never left to meet with Kraz in the first place.
So there she was, sleeping very heavily to make up for the lost time with Kraz, basking in the morning light until...
"WATER!"
Diego's sudden shout snapped Taura awake as she leaped to her feet and looked around, panicking from the sound of Diego's yell. She looked towards where she heard him...only to have Diego's foot shoved right into her face as she felt him leap off of her and onto Manny, the force of it shoving her into the ground again.
As if they were dominoes, Diego's lunge at Manny woke the mammoth up, which made him wake up with a fright and run smack dab into Ellie's tree which made her wake up and fall into the ground...or in this case water...Everybody looked around to find the area around them already flooded with water already rising up to their ankles, or in the possums' case, shoulders.
Eddie looked at the water curiously and then said bemusedly towards Crash "Crash...I told you not to drink before bed..."
"I didn't do this!" Crash snapped at his brother while getting up rapidly...before stating worriedly "...at least not all of it..."
Taura's eyes widened rapidly and glanced down at the water which coated one of her paws before pouncing away from it and flicking her paw around dry. "Ew ew ew ew, gross! WHO THE HECK HAS THE ABILITY TO PEE UPSIDE DOWN?!" Taura shrieked in her head, staring disgustedly at the water before calming down.
"What happened?" Ellie breathed as she stared at the water surrounding them,
Manny's face set into a worried frown as he anxiously replied "We overslept, we need to move!"
"What if we're the last creatures left alive?!" Eddie panicked, clutching at his brother suddenly while waving his other arm around "We'd have to repopulate the earth!"
Crash stared at his brother confusedly before asking "How? Everyone's either a dude or our sister."
Taura deadpanned at the two brothers, ignoring Diego's amused scoff, before smacking Crash upside the head hard for his ignorant comment.
"Ow! What did I do?!" Crash cried indignantly while his brother snickered next to him. Crash glared at his brother before growling and leaping on him and before Taura knew it, they were wrestling around again.
The group suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to them "Oh hi!"
They all looked to the woods to find Sid dizzily walk towards them, clinging to a few trees here and there. Taura raised a curious eyebrow to find him not asleep with them, "Where did HE wonder off to? ... well, now I feel guilty for not noticing when I came last night..." Taura pondered before shaking her head and deciding it would be best to not think on it too much.
"H-hey Manny!" Sid called out to the mammoth before waddling towards them "Wow, what a night! You'll never guess what happened to me!"
Diego gave him a dry look and commented "I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you were sleep walking."
"Oh no no no, I was kidnapped by a tribe of mini-sloths-" Sid replied honestly, unbeknownst of Diego's sarcasm.
"That was going to be my second guess..." Diego deadpanned, but that didn't stop Sid from rambling on.
"And they worshiped me!" Sid cried in amazement, as if it was the best thing that ever happened to him in his life...that is before he continued on "I mean, sure they threw me into a flaming tar pit, BUT THEY WORSHIPED ME!"
Manny sighed exasperatedly "Sid you were dreaming! Come on, the water's rising faster than we're moving!"
Everybody started to walk onward, ignoring Sid as he continued to try to persuade them of his "worshiping mini-sloths" until he finally sighed and gave up, Taura being the only one who gave him a sympathetic pat on the shoulder with an amused head shake before walking forwards...
"Food! Glorious Food-!"
"SID!"
Taura was currently rolling her shoulders around, trying to relieve the ache on them after having a sloth literally plonked on top of them! Not soon after they started to continue towards the ship, they were attacked by a bunch of musical vultures that gave them a seriously sick musical parade of death traps! ... Unfortunately, Sid had their song stuck in his head ever since!
"I swear the next time I see that vulture, I'll rip his bald, empty head off of his bald, skinny neck!" Taura grumbled darkly in her head as she continued to roll her shoulders around.
"What? It's catchy!" Sid defended as he continued to shuffle up the hill they were all walking up of.
Once they reached the top...all of their faces morphed into ones of shock and awe as they stared at the site that greeted them...
The path that they were walking on spread into a giant, grey valley with crumbling terrain. Further ahead on the horizon...was their boat. It was sitting smack-dab in the middle on the top of some sort of cliff that was morphed into some kind of stairway, which was were all the other previous citizens of the water park were all climbing up on, trying to reach the boat. Behind all of that were the giant ice "walls" that the vulture described that surrounded the entire area. The boat itself was a long, giant piece of wonky bark that balanced on the cliff.
"We made it..." Diego sighed while smiling in relief.
Sid leaped into the air and whooped "Yeah! We showed those scary vultures!"
Ellie and the possums all whooped together with glee and all the others were grinning and laughing with relief on finally reaching the boat. They all started to walk forward again, but this time with much more excited pace, all of them just wanting to reach the boat faster and thinking that they were finally safe...but then again, that is what they thought...
KABOOM!
Everybody jolted back in shock when the ground a few yards in front of them suddenly exploded, letting out a tunnel of hot water shooting out into the air. Everybody looked forward and say that the grey, crumbling valley in front of them was in fact a geyser field! The entire terrain was swampy and the ground full of cracks and every so often another geyser exploded and released another scolding tunnel of water that shot up thousands of feet into the air before sizzling into a cloud of mist.
Sid didn't seem to understand the graveness of the situation since he commented offhandedly with an amused grin "Oh, it's just a little hot water and steam, how bad could it be?"
Just as Sid said that, everybody turned to look at an innocent Dodo bird that waddled along with a merry tune...before a geyser exploded right beneath it and sent it hurtling into the air before it landed back down...as a roasted Dodo.
Sid stared at the dodo in horror, he shuddered "I just said something involuntary...and messy..." Taura stared at the sloth with a look that said "YOU THINK?!"
Manny ignored the comment and his eyes were set in with a determined gleam before calling out to everybody "Okay, come on!"
He walked forwards, but didn't make even three steps before a geyser exploded right in front of him! But luckily, Manny leaped backwards before it touched him.
Diego ran forwards and yelled at Manny "Manny! Get back, it's a minefield out there!"
"There's only one way to go, straight through!" Manny yelled back over the sound of the exploding geysers.
Ellie stared at Manny as if he was insane "Straight through?! We'd like to keep the fur ON our bodies thank you! We'll head back and go around, that's safer!"
"No no, there's no time!" Manny hurriedly tried to persuade her, a look of panic starting to grow in his eyes. Taura couldn't blame him though, for all they knew, the flood could be heading their way any minute now! "The dam will burst before we could make it. We'll drown!"
Ellie retorted "If we go through this, we get blown to bits!"
"We go forward!" Manny stubbornly yelled at her,
Ellie glared at him and yelled back even louder "We go back!"
"Forward!" Manny shouted back with equal volume, taking a stomping step towards her,
"Back!" Ellie shouted back, taking a stomping step towards him and by now, they were face to face and both glaring heatedly at each other.
"Forward!"
"Back!"
Diego took a timid step towards them and asked "Can I say something?"
"NO!" The two mammoths yelled at him with angry faces before going back to glaring at each other.
"You are so stubborn and hard-headed!" Manny roared at her infuriatingly,
Ellie simply rolled her eyes and sarcastically replied with equal vigor "Well I guess that proves it, I AM a mammoth!" before stomping away and scooping up her brothers onto her back.
"Fine!" Manny huffed before stomping towards the opposite direction... a.k.a, the geyser fields.
Diego and Taura shared a worried glance at each other before following after the infuriated mammoth who was pounding away towards the boat like a mad bull! Manny wasn't paying attention to the geysers exploding around him, which made Taura wonder...
"What on earth is he doing?!" Taura cried out while trying to keep up with the charging mammoth, Diego next to her. By now, they all were right in the middle of the explosive terrain while Manny was a few meters ahead of them.
Diego shook his head while glancing anxiously at their mammoth friend "I don't know, we're just gonna have to try to keep up and not get blown to bits!"
"He's gonna get himself killed! MANNY!" Sid yelled worriedly along with Taura, while trying to call out to Manny who was still plowing away forwards.
Soon enough, what the trio were worrying would happen...happened. It wasn't long before Manny took one big, heavy step and a geyser exploded right in front of him, causing him to fall back and land heavily on his front.
"MANNY!" Sid yelled out with panicked eyes before they all ran up towards him, dodging left and right the exploding geysers around them.
Diego and Taura were right in front of the sloth and just a few meters away from Manfred when suddenly...
BOOOOOOOOOOOOSSHH!
A geyser exploded right in between Diego and Taura, making both sabers leap into the air from the force of the blast and away from each other.
"DIEGOO!" Diego heard Taura yell out for him in his head one last time before it faded away...
Diego luckily landed dizzily on his feet and shook his head before continuing his sprint towards Manny, Sid hot on his heels behind him. By the time he reached the mammoth, his eyes were wide and open, meaning he probably wasn't seriously hurt. But they had this delirious and terrorized look to them as if Manny was seriously regretting something.
"Manny, get up, we've gotta move!" Diego yelled at him, his nose only an inch away from Manny's trunk. He hoped that the louder he spoke, the more it would get to him. Diego heard Sid behind him panicking and crying out sniveling yells of "we're gonna die!" and Taura was...
"Wait a minute..." Diego's eyes widened with intense worry and panic before he spun around and looked at the area around them and found that...
Taura was nowhere to be seen...
