Chapter V Part III: A Killer Lady
Teresa was on a rooftop. She spent most of her time on them these days. Ever since "The Incident", she rarely walked on the streets unless they were empty. 'I miss her so much.', she thought sadly as she checked her gear.
She worked with her bracers. First, she checked the blades. They came out smoothly and easily over the top of her hand. They were a foot long and as sharp as ever. Then, she powered them up. The blades crackled slightly as the lightning dust in the small compartment built into the bracers electrified them for a brief moment. Teresa smirked and retracted the deadly weapons. Next she checked the guns. She activated the gun function, and the barrels popped out from the bracers, there were eight barrels, each about a quarter inch apart all around the bracer. She spun them and they worked. She deactivated them and checked the magazine on the piece of the bracer that extended from the main part. She sighed as she checked her clothing.
Using a nearby skylight window as a mirror, she looked at what she was wearing. She had on a sleeveless black leather jacket over a long-sleeve purple shirt, black skin-tight pants. On a belt around her waist were small canisters of dust and small boxes of ammunition, and at the hips of the belt were her throwing knives, four on each side. Her black hair was tied in it's usual braid that went over her right shoulder. Her purple eyes shone in the moonlight.
"What do you want?", Teresa said in a bored tone to the person walking up to her from behind. "You're as good as they say you are, Miss Orchid." the stranger replied. She turned to see a man with grey hair, wearing a black suit, green scarf, and glasses walking up to her with a cane in one hand and a mug in the other.
"Professor Ozpin," she said, "to what do I owe the pleasure?" "I would like to have you at Beacon,", he said plainly,"you're skill with your weapons, the Black Lillys, is truly impressive, and the people you have protected have spoken highly of you. If you were to come to Beacon, your skills could greatly increase." Teresa looked him in the eyes and said in an even tone, "Thanks, but no thanks." Ozpin replied,"I do think you'll reconsider." "Really?" she said sarcastically as she turned to walk away. "I know someone who would be very happy if you came to Beacon. Black hair, hazel eyes, goes by the name of Tessa." Teresa froze when he said that. She turned her head, a fierce look in her eyes. "Where do I sign up?"
