Chapter V Part IV: Here Goes Nothing
Xavier had made it to Professor Qrow's class on time. This was no easy feat, as Xavier hurt all over from his fight with the Nevermore. But he had done it.
As he sat down and listened to the lesson, he had a harder time focusing than he usually did, eventually he saw a messenger run in and give Qrow a note.
"Ahem," Qrow said after reading the note, "The assembly where the students who are eligible to attend Beacon are announced is in two minutes, Let's pack up and go!"
Xavier grabbed his stuff and walked out of the class quickly, heading for the auditorium. He arrived and sat down in the front row. Eventually everyone else showed up and it began. 'Here goes nothing.' Xavier thought.
The Headmaster had a quick little speech, then he announced names. Xavier hung onto his every word. "Yang Xiao Long!" The Headmaster said. Xavier knew her vaguely, she was fun and flirtatious, and the only girl Xavier wasn't completely terrified of.
"Xavier Teal!" The Headmaster announced. Xavier stood up and walked to the stage. He shook the Headmaster's hand and took his place by Yang and the others. He looked down at the letter.
Xavier Teal, you have been accepted to Beacan academy, where you will be taught the craft of being a Huntsman. Congratulations, Headmaster Ozpin.
Xavier stood in shock until he heard, "Victor Cobalt!" He had mixed feelings about Victor joining him at Beacan. But no matter what, Xavier was now pursuing his life dream, and nothing would stop him...
