I'll probably be writing more to keep myself distracted, this week has been horrible for me. Someone brought in a puppy at work that had been abandoned in a dumpster and I went in the next morning and found him dead. I found out today my cat I've had for 15 years of my life is in kidney failure and is currently in the hospital and I also found out today my dog has primary lung cancer. If I go through with surgery for my beagle dog it will cost me $6,000 and her life expectancy will be 1-2 years. If I choose not to do surgery the doctor told me she will slowly start going downhill within six months. I don't know what to do, if anyone has gone through this please give me some advice. I am more than likely going to go through with the surgery, but I really don't want to put her through all that stress in pain. I'm just completely devastated by all this.

Cheza lay sprawled out on her bed, enjoying the few moments of peace she was finally granted. While flipping through channels on the tv, Cheza noticed

something moving out of the corner of her eye. Turning her attention to it, she noticed a small green vine stealthily wrapping itself around Stella's bottle

located on the dresser near her crib. Cheza couldn't help but laugh at her daughters antics. Alice cocked her head to the side and began to growl. Alice had

become very protective over Stella and Daisuke, any movement from the crib or any odd noises coming from the babies and Alice was on her feet instantly to

investigate. Cautiously Alice approached the vine and began to sniff it. Alice turned her head towards her master, as if she was trying to gauge Cheza's

reaction to the vine. Seeing that Cheza didn't seem concerned Alice circled around the crib then plopped back down, following the bottle of milk with her eyes

as it gained entrance into Stella's crib.

Youko wiped tears from his eyes as he watched Daisuke continue his assault on Kuronue. The bat had accidentally dropped Daisuke's bottle into the ocean and

Daisuke was not happy about it. Youko had decided to take his son to the beach near Genkai's temple for some father-son bonding time along with Kuronue,

which turned out to be quite entertaining. "OWW!" The newborn's fuzzy silver nubs lay flattened atop his head as he continued to whip Kuronue with a

mini-rose whip. Youko had to admit he was quite pleased with his sons progress, only a few weeks old and the child was already able to manipulate plants.

"He may not be able to walk yet, but his control over his spirit energy is impressive!" Kuronue commented. "Yes, I am quite pleased to see he is learning so

quickly."

Yukina slowly rose to her feet, her now very large belly making it a difficult task to accomplish. Yukina was beginning to worry that something was not quite

right with her pregnancy. The baby was growing much faster than she thought possible and she was now finding it increasingly difficult to perform her duties

for Genkai. Hiei had sensed his sister's distress and had been watching over her ever since. Yukina winced as the baby began to kick, Hiei appeared by her side

instantly. The ice maiden jumped, Hiei had appeared seemingly out of nowhere scaring the living daylights out of her. "Is something wrong?" Hiei asked while

eyeing her belly warily. "No, she's just kicking again.." Yukina faked a smile which Hiei saw right through causing him to frown. "Something is wrong." Hiei

stated his eyes meeting with Yukina's.

Yukina quickly broke the eye contact and placed a hand on her belly, " ..if I asked for your help..would you say no?" Hiei remained silent for a moment before

replying with a "I will always be here to help you." Yukina was a bit taken aback by Hiei's statement, but decided this was her opening..her chance to ask a

question that she desperately wanted to ask him. " I need to visit my place of birth..something is off about my pregnancy and I think I can find answers there.

If it's not too much to ask..could you accompany me there?" Yukina noticed Hiei visibly cringe, clearly he did not want to. Yukina braced herself for Hiei's

response, it was obvious he was going to say no due to his reaction to her question. Hiei nodded, "When do you want to go?" Though Hiei did not like the idea

one bit for a multitude of reasons, he knew she was right..she would more than likely find the answers to her questions there. Not to mention she believed

that her baby was somehow in danger, he could not bring himself to say no. The problem with taking her there is how would he get there? Reaching an island

in the sky is not an easy task, it certainly was not the first time he had ventured to the land filled with coldhearted ice maidens. How different his sister was

from those women, he found it hard to believe she was even related to them at all. "Tonight.." Yukina replied in a near whisper.
