Hii! sorry for being late , but i think there's something you should know about the way i write. , so basically when i upload a chapter it usually is because i have the next chapter already written... Do for example when i uploaded chapter 1, chapter 2 was already written, so this is why it takes me more time, as i have to write 2 chapters before i upload them... So hope you understand, and hopefully i'll finish chapter 7 soon, so that i can upload chapter 6! Thanks enjoy!

Sakura glanced at Naruto with a worried expression, ever since the Ten-Ten , incident, which was just barely a week ago, the poor blond had spoken no words longer than "no" "sure" and "hmpf", the last group of sentences he elaborated where directed towards both girls, which where not very nice. Ellie was getting tired of it as well , she felt the guilt running through her body, everything was her fault, she remembered his stern expression as soon as they escaped.

*Flashback*

Naruto ran as fast as he could , carrying Ellie on her back , and pulling Sakura as well , he couldn't think straight, it was taking too long to sync it in , until it did,his best friend just died. She was DEAD. And he had left her, a sharp sound woke him up from his guilt-trip.

"Naruto!" Both girls screamed sharply at him. He noticed they had escaped , and apparently they where very close to a gap, to which he was running, he stopped , dropped Ellie and quickly letting go of Sakura's hand he turned his back as one single tear ran through his face. Ellie felt the need to speak.

"I.. I never meant this to happen... I'm sor-"

"Silence" the cold male voice interrupted "Just... I do not need your pity, none of yours, now listen to me , we are going to find Sasuke for him to lead us to the fucking lab, i'll drop you off and we part our ways" he took a sharp breath "and while we do that, you do what i say, when i say it , okay?"

Sakura and Ellie had their mouths wide open , i mean, he was not the nicest guy, that much i'll give you, but still, his coldness and harshness was very appalling. They looked at each other , nodded and then spoke in one voice.

"Okay"

*End of Flashback*

The trio walked endlessly through the path laid beneath them, It became a routine, Naruto would guide, without pronouncing a single sound, while Sakura and Ellie followed him silently, occasionally one would ask something , only to be ignored by the blond man in a very rude way , tired of walking with apparently, no clear objective, Ellie decided to speak up.

"Naruto, listen... I know that... Uhh... You're sad and stuff, but, we need to know where we're going!" And yet again he ignored them, the young brunette only grew angrier, she ran to him, grabbed his arm and yelled "Hey! Are you listening?!"He keep ignoring her."Im sorry ok!, it's my fault!, it's because of me she's dead, it always is!, i'm really sorry, but you have to get over it and stop being a fucking asshole!"He looked mad, and both of them froze, looking at each other with a mixture of emotions, none could tell. Sakura, who had watched everything decided to intervene, she softly touched both Naruto's and Ellie's arms and separated them.

"Enough.." She sighed "Ellie come on, you can't yell at him like that-"

"But, he's being such an ass-"

"I know, and even if he IS" she looked straight at the tan blond "you shouldn't yell at him, plus, you'll attract infected..."

After a moment of silence he spoke up.

" i know where we're going..."

"What?"

"We are not lost, we are going somewhere, and it makes sense okay?" He said rather softly, still not looking at them."Sasuke is very far away from here, to reach him we need a car, i know someone nearby, he owes me a favor and i'm pretty sure he can manage a car, his name is Kankuro, he is good building traps and things, anything mechanical... He lives on his own small town, after the forest... Uhh.. Hey i'm sorry... For , you know..."

"Being a complete idiot?" Ellie said

"Ellie..." Sakura warned

"Yes Ellie, for being a complete asshole... And it's not your fault okay?" He said reassuringly , he looked over at the pinkette who looked moved by his act, and said " It's not your fault either Sakura..." She nodded.

Everyone was quiet for a second.

"Well"The male spoke "I guess we better get moving, oh yeah... By the way Ellie... Kankuro is a good guy... But uhh..he is a little paranoid so let's keep your little secret to ourselves okay?" He said looking at her "wounded" arm.

She nodded in agreement , and walked behind her two guardians, and sighed happily as one of them, didn't looked so angry anymore.

"Wow" That was all she could say, they never let her out of the quarantine zone, and now she was standing in front of a beautiful environment, the area looked bright , the trees perfectly green, she even caught a glance of a clear lake.

The two grown-ups looked at her, confused as to why she was speechless.

"Uh.. Ellie?, whats wrong?"

"Naruto, is this the forest?" She asked full of hope.

"Yes...?" He shrugged looking at Sakura.

"I... I'd never gone out of that quarantine zone, Tsunade always says it's way too dangerous , but... It's beautiful..."

Sakura smiled , she knew how overprotective her master could get... So it meant that she really cared for her... She felt a light poke and turned her head only to see the whiskered man looking at her.

"Well... It's nice and all... But we gotta get back to the mission" she just nodded as he continued "... I think we could just swim through the lake and it would take us faster... I'm sure is not too deep..."

"Sure..."

"Uh... Guys?" The young brunette suddenly said

"Mmh?"

"I can't swim... Sorry" Naruto looked frustrated, which Ellie misunderstood as angry, so she noticeably flinched, both adults looked at her, and Naruto sighed and kneeled in front of her.

"Don't worry... We'll... Figure it out, right Sakura?"

"Yes Ellie... In fact i think i already did" she pointed to a piece of large wood " I bet that floats , so you could get on it while we push you..." The teen ran rapidly towards the wood.

Sakura heard a soft chuckle

"You were always the smart one..."

"I guess"

"Hey Sakura... I'm sorry..." He said softly

"I think you already apologized"

"To Ellie, not to you... I'm sorry for being such an idiot with all the Sasuke stuff" He looked down as she lifted his chin.

"It's okay..." She smiled as she continued "what ever happened to us...? I thought we were best friends..." He didn't respond but she kept insisting " i know that i drifted away when the Shion incident happened but..."

"It doesn't matter anymore..." He said suddenly

"What ever happened to her?... She aborted the baby right?"

"No..."

Sakura stood in shock, the what happened to the baby... Before she could ask, Ellie came over holding the large piece of wood.
