Hi! I managed to write a little bit faster and brought you the chapter earlier than i expected! Hope you like it! Oh and by the way... Many of you guys have been asking about "the backstory of Naruto and Sakura as best friends" and it's coming soon... I think i made it way too long thou ... Should i upload it by parts or all the way through? Anyways ... Enjoy!

Naruto sharply shot the infected running towards him, and was pleasantly surprised when Sakura took some out herself. As they cleared the area they saw the church Kankuro was talking about, that was the safe-house.

"Is that it?" Naruto asked

"Yep" He nodded " Come on"

Naruto motioned Ellie and Sakura to run towards him. He could see a basement-like entrance, and waited for Kankuro to give instructions.

"Well... What are you waiting for blondie? Open it"

"Fine" As they entered the basement Kankuro stopped abruptly.

"Okay here's the deal, you, pinkie only take what i say you can take, little brat, you don't touch ANYTHING and you close the damn door" The girls looked at Naruto, and he shrugged.

"Just... Roll with it..."

"But i need a gun" Ellie pronounced. Naruto frowned deeply.

"No you don't!"

"I CAN handle myself!" She pouted

"Ellie, i said NO!"

Everyone stood silently until Kankuro decided to speak.

"Okay, you, pinkie..."

"The name's Sakura.." She frowned.

"Okay... Sa-ku-ra, go and search for this gun, and once you take it look for it's ammo" He handed her something that looked like the ripped page of a book, with instructions and the picture of the gun. She nodded and signaled Ellie to join her.

"Perfect" Kankuro whispered." Hey Naruto, are you sure Ten-Ten is okay with all of this...?"

"It was her idea..."

"Oh... God i don't get it, why don't you just leave the brat somewhere else..."

"I... I can't"

"Come on, leave her, and pinkie while you're doing it, although that would be a shame, she's very hot... Haven't seen a woman like that in a long time" He let out a crooked smile " Oh i'd like her to do-"

"-Hey!" The blond man hit his head sharply. "A little more respect dude!" He hushed , trying to avoid that the girls would hear him.

"Oh... Shit" Kankuro said. " You're already attached ... Oh... Naruto, let me give you some advice, once i had a ... Partner, he was my brother actually, Gaara... He was someone that i had to protect, someone dear to me, and in this world that's just good for getting you killed... So i left him and you should do it too, keep babysitting and it's gonna blow up in your face, just-" He abruptly stopped as he spotted Ellie shuffling some magazines.

"- What did i told you?!" Ellie jumped slightly.

"I was just... Organizing your stupid magazines... Geez..."

"Come on Ellie" Sakura said pulling her arm leaving both guys alone once again.

Kankuro drifted into thought "hmmm something about her seems familiar"
He said confused.
"Wait... Naruto, i've heard about you and a girl named Sakura... Ten-ten told me about it... She ... Oh my god! Is it her?" He sounded astonished.

"Yes..." He said quietly.

"Oh... She was your first crush" He said mockingly as Naruto gained color on his cheeks.

"Oh... Poor Naruto... I remember now, you were all like 'Sakura-chan , i love you ohhhh' " he said laughing "and... And then she was all like ' i prefer Sasuke' oh god ..." He almost choked while Naruto had turned even redder from both anger and embarrassment.

"Shut up!" He exclaimed way louder than he intended so Sakura and Ellie turned to see Kankuro laughing his ass off , and Naruto blushing with a mix between a pout and a frown.

"Uh... Whats going on?" Sakura said confused. Naruto gave a killer look to Kankuro as if to warn him and both turned sharply.

"Nothing!"

Sakura rolled her eyes.

"Gee... boys are strange..." Ellie said

"You have no idea"

Kankuro turned back to Naruto and softly whispered.

"Naruto and Sakura sitting on a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G "

"How old are you? Five?"

"Oh... God... Haha... Now i get all the adversity you had towards me... You don't want me to charm your 'Sakura-chan'"

"Please... Even if i had a crush on her i wouldn't be worried about you..."

"Come on..., i'm pretty hot"

"You live on your own town, surrounded by traps, with no one else... You're kind of a creep..."

Kankuro noticeably frowned.

"At least i haven't been denied by a girl because of my own brother! And while we're on the topic of brothers ... As i was telling you... This is a bad idea... You're already attached to both of them... And now you're looking for Sasuke... You have had your differences before... I just think it's ... Not smart"

Naruto sighed, maybe Kankuro was right , he would never admit it out loud... But he was starting to like Ellie and slowly kept forgiving Sakura and only in a matter of weeks!... It was just so scary... What if something happened to them? What if when they find Sasuke , she'd come running to his arms? And ... Why did he cared so much, again, it had been a matter of weeks! well ... With Sakura... They knew each other from way back... But he had completely blocked his past. He knew what to do, leave them, they'll be okay... Yet there was something that told him otherwise , he moved his head from side to side slowly. No. He was not gonna do it .

"Just... Let me live by my choices okay?"

"Fine... Do what you want... Yo Sakura!"

"Yeah?"

"Got what i told you to take?"

"Yes"

"Okay Naruto... This favor settles everything i owe you , after this don't come asking for more, deal?"

"Deal"

Kankuro took something that looked like a tin can out of his pocket, it was different thou, it had spikes on it he offered it, Naruto raised his brow.

"What's that?"

"It's like a grenade, my own personal invention..."

"Okay... Well, lets head outside... Shall we?"

The trio surrounding him nodded.

And they headed outside.
