Sorry it's a tad short and I really hate myself for this chapter but yeah...

Chopper woke up early the next morning as I was watching over him. Dalton the boar guy had shown up a little after Chopper had been taken care of. Once he saw that Wappol and his men were dead and Kureha was dead as well he asked what had happened Before Ace could say anthing I told Dalton how Wappol had killed Kureha and how in a fit of anger Chopper had dealt with them before succumbing to exhaustion and passing out. I don't think he bought the whole story but he didn't press for more details and allowed Ace, Richie, Chopper and I to crash at his place for the night. After we buried Kureha on the top of that mountain.

"Uhh what...what happened?" Chopper asked blearily, shaking me from my thoughts. "Doctor?" he called out softly. "Doctor! DOCTOR!" By now he was creaming desperately looking for Kureha. He didn't have the strength to move out of the bed but he was thrashing around desperately. It was heart breaking to see him like this.

"She's not coming," I said softly. "She's dead, Wappol killed her." I know he heard me, the slight hesitance when I spoke confirmed it. I know he heard me but he ignored my words, they couldn't be true after all.

"DOCTOR! DOCTOR! DOCTOR! WHERE ARE YOU DOCTOR?" he screamed desperately.

I'm glad everyone else was partying and the music was so loud otherwise everyone in the town would have heard. No one should see Chopper like this.

Slowly, so as not to alarm him, I got up and moved to his side, wrapping my arm around him in a hug. "I'm sorry but she's not coming back," I told him tearfully.

He stiffened slightly in my arm before growing to his heavy point and throwing me through a window. I guess he can move.

The party outside stopped in shock as I came flying out and crashing into the band. "WHAT DID YOU DO TO THE DOCTOR HUMAN?" Chopper shouted out angrily. If I hadn't taken his Rumble Balls I know for a fact that he would have eaten three already. With a great crash he destroyed the house wall and walked out into the street towards me.

"Aaahhh a monster!" some random woman screamed.

"Kill it!" her husband shouted.

I lost it. Nothing up until that day had ever made me as angry as I was then, so what if people called me a girl? So what if they said Luffy and Zoro would never attain their dreams? So what. So what! SO FUCKING WHAT! That was nothing, nothing! Compared to this.

I don't even know what had happened or how it had happened but I had that woman and her husband both on the ground. The husband had a broken leg and the woman was holding her stomach in pain. The barrel of my gunblade was pointed at them. "That young boy over there is the one who got rid of Wappol. He is the one who freed you from Wappol. He is the reason you are all partying. He is a hero. Do not ever call him a fucking monster again. GOT IT!" I screamed at them.

Everyone was staring at me in fright, obviously they never expected me to stand up for the monster. Even thinking that makes me want to kill these bastards.

"Enough!" came Dalton's authoritative voice. "The party is over everyone go to bed. You four get these two to the Twenty M.D.'s" he ordered. Everyone stared "NOW!" he growled out scaring them into motion. Within two minutes the street was clear of everyone but Dalton, Chopper and I. I couldn't see them but I'm sure Ace and Richie were around somewhere as well.

Dalton then turned to me "I am thankful for what he did but he can't stay here. I want him and you gone by mid-day," he ordered before walking off back to his house.

"Fucking ungrateful bastards," I spat. How dare they treat Chopper like this? He was a hero and should be treated as such not treated like this? Like a monster.

"Doctor," Chopper said weakly shaking me from my thoughts "is she...is she..." he couldn't say it and I couldn't blame him but I knew what he meant.

"Yes," I said softly. "By the time I got to her it was too late. There was no way to save her. I'm sorry."

"..my fault.. it's my fault that she... she protected me," he cried reverting back to his Brain Point. "All my fault she is gone...so is he because of me."

I once more walked over, sat down in the snow and pulled Chopper into a hug, thankfully this time he did not try and attack me. "It's not your fault," I whispered softly. "It's because of Wappol that they are gone, not because of you."

"But...but if they never met me..."

"Then they wouldn't have died knowing they had protected their son, they wouldn't have died with a smile on their face," I interrupted him.

"They would still be alive though," he sniffled.

"Maybe," I acquiesced "but maybe they wouldn't. All I know is that they gave their life so that their son could live and be happy. They chose this and to blame yourself would cheapen their sacrifice."

Chopper cried into my chest for a long time before he settled down. I could understand how Hiriluk and Kureha felt, I barely knew him but I know that I would make any who hurt him suffer.

"I..I'm sorry," he sniffled pulling away from my chest to look up at me. "I shouldn't have gotten angry at you."

"It's fine," I whispered giving him a smile "you were just upset and lashed out, I can't blame you for that."

"I'm still sorry, it must have hurt."

"Didn't feel a thing," I lied. Truthfully it was painful and I could feel dried blood almost covering my entire back but I wasn't going to let Chopper know that. "Would you like to go see her?" I asked.

He looked at me in confusion "but isn't she..." Guess he still couldn't say it.

I nodded "she is but I made sure to give her a grave."

"Th-thank you," he sniffed. "Will you...Will you come with me?"

"Of course," I said with a smile. Making sure to hold onto him tightly I stood up and the sat him down on my shoulder. "I'm Fairys by the way."

"Chopper," he said. "Tony Tony Chopper. Thank you Fairys."

"What are friends for," I grinned. Chopper stayed silent from then on. Once we reached the top off the mountain, via the tram way or whatever it was, I stayed back as Chopper went to Kureha's grave. Sadly I couldn't give her a proper headstone just a chunk of rock that I had carved 'Kureha' on to. For three hours Chopper stayed there talking to her. I hope it helped him.

"Can-can I come with you?" he asked on the ride back down the mountain. "That guy said you have to leave today and I was wondering if I could come with you," he said quietly.

"Of course," I smiled, "how could I say no."

Chopper really had a nice smile.
