A/N, so I looked at the review by Friendlylittlespark8 and it made me feel more confident about the story. Also, my friend AngelTheBulgarian helped with the OC, so credit to him.
Chapter 2: Reunion
Sabine walked passed the med bay when she heard moaning, she looked through the door at the orange Mandalorian. He was awake, he thrown himself across the med bay in a sudden burst of panic.
"Guys, one of them is awake" Sabine said looking down the hallway.
He stopped panicking and looked at the colourful armoured crew member. She was also wearing her helmet so he didn't know who she was.
"What's your name?" the orange solider asked.
"Why does it matter" asked Sabine.
"Because you remind me of my sister" he stared at her for a second through the dark visor of his helmet. "Sabine?"
"How do you know her name?" Hera asked walking through the door with the other crew members.
"Sabine's my sister" he said as he ran towards her and hugging her.
"Riley?!"
She was shocked as it has been 5 years since they last met and he ran way. She hugged him back even tighter and cried.
They both left each other's grasps after a few minutes and removed their helmets. Sabine revealed her dark blue hair with orange highlights, her brown eyes and a waterfall of tears. Riley revealed his dark brown hair, grey eyes and a small scar just above his upper lip.
"Sorry to spoil the reunion but we have tie fighters" shouted the green twi'lek.
"Sabine get on the nose gun, chopper get on the rear" commanded Kanan. "Riley, I don't trust you yet so you'll need to stay here"
"Roger" replied Riley with a hint of annoyance. "But after this I need to talk to Sabine.
"That's fine" smiled Kanan as he ran to the top turret.
Riley looked around to discover the younger injured man. He ran over checking wounds and the monitors, he didn't look good because a broken rib had been trapped in-between another rib and some vital organs. The boy had stitching's down his stomach which seemed like they fixed the problem only slightly. They needed a qualified doctors rather than a book in the corner of the room, he then realised how under stocked they were.
"Sabine, blow the charges" Shouted Kanan
Next thing they knew, the ship was rocking badly as if they were still quite close. He heard the cannons trying to take down tie fighters one by one. He ran to his and Sabine helmet's, he picked them up and placed Sabine's on the bed he was laid on. He checked a slot under the binoculars of the helmet, (Don't know what it's called) a small chip was inside. He felt relieved, and put it back placing the helmet on his head. He sat back down on the bed, he examined his sister's helmet when the crew walked in. They looked like they may say something they might regret.
"Can't you ask him later, he just woke up and you don't know if he's still sensitive about it" argued Sabine.
"I know but we still don't know if we can trust him" Kanan sighed heavily. "I know he's your brother but it's been 5 years, he could have been turned"
"I'm not an imperial spy if that's what you're implying" snapped Riley.
"I'm sorry but we still don't know if we can trust you, it's difficult out here" Kanan looked around the crew "We need to know everything, preferably the day when your parents were taken away"
Riley look at his sister, she shook her head.
"Not right now, is there anywhere I can sleep?"
"Not until you-"Kanan was cut off by Riley as he jumped of the bed.
"I'm sorry, but you need to earn my trust too. I'll tell you, I promise but let me sleep first" Riley said with sorrow.
"All right, fair enough" Kanan was about to speak when Sabine interrupted.
"You can stay with me" Sabine glared at Kanan with a look that says 'My decision, not yours'.
Kanan was about to protest, but Hera nudged him not give in, he did. He gave permission and the siblings walked towards Sabine's quarters.
"You have to calm down a little" Hera said while walking to the cockpit.
"I know" he replied under his breath.
