This will be a fairly short Chapter. This is mostly because I am low on inspiration and I don't want you guys to go much longer without an update. So it may be short but it's sweet.

Alec dropped off Clary at P.E. and hugged her good bye. It was still not appropriate to kiss her. Too many damn vultures.

In the girls locker room Clary was being asked a thousand questions. They all wanted to know about Alec. Thankfully for her Maia and Izzy stepped to ease the crowd for her. Izzy told everyone he was her brother and Clary and he just started dating. Maia brought up that she had dated Sebastian before and it wasn't as big of a deal as they are making Alec to be. Some girls got the hint others still knew there was more to it than what they were telling.

When everyone was finally out on the gym floor Clary felt better. Exercising cleared her mind and right now she needed to have it blank.

(45 minutes later)

The class was nearing its end so the Coach decided to let everyone break off into teams and play volleyball. Simon made Clary sit the games she was paired against Kaelie out. He didn't trust her and neither did the rest of her friends.

"Are you bored yet?" Sebastian asked from behind her.

"You scared me." Clary said once she regained her voice.

"Sorry, I just saw you staring at the court like it was about to run away." Sebastian said as he sat down next to her.

"I'm just frustrated that I can't play volleyball simply because Kaelie is playing too." Clary said exasperated of being treated like a doll.

"You know how Simon is when it comes to you. He's like another Jon. Just less aggressive." Sebastian said as he chuckled at the thought.

"Yeah I guess." Clary said as she reclined back.

"Don't worry in another week he will be back to his usual goofy self.

"It better happen faster than a week." Clary said as she crossed her arms and pouted like a child.

Sebastian simply chuckled and walked away.

"Why is he talking to her! She rejected him and he still goes after her." Seelie raged to no one in particular.

"Oh calm down, she wouldn't cheat on whatever that guy's name is. Besides give it time. Sebastian will come running back to you just like Jace did with me." Kaelie said as she dreamily thought of Sunday when Jace texted they should get together again.

"Don't worry, he will see soon enough you are the girl for him. Clary is out of the picture. They are only friends. Once you are his girlfriend again you can occupy all of his time and make sure he doesn't speak to her." Camille said as she manicured her nails to perfection. She was making herself look her best before getting Raphael's attention.

"Fine." Seelie said as she sat down and glared at Clary.

(Spanish Class)

Clary and Raphael had a short and amicable conversation when she walked in. Raphael loved the glare he got from Alec when he saw him call Clary 'Hermosa'. Clary was the only reason he was respecting the fact that she had a boyfriend, but if she gave him a hint of sadness he would jump in faster than the speed of light.

"So how has the day been so far?" Raphael asked knowing how everyone had been gawking at her and Alec.

"Like I'm the newest exhibit at a museum." Clary said with an awkward chuckle.

"The day is almost over so hold on. Then all you have to deal with is the rest of the week." Raphael said not wanting to be one to sugar coat things.

"Thanks for reminding me." Clary said as she placed her head in her hands.

"I mean that it will pass. People are only reacting like this because you two are new and because of Jon. So as soon as the novelty wears off things will go back to normal." Raphael said.

"You think?" Clary asked hopeful.

"Yes. Besides I'm sure something else will happen soon enough that will get everyone's attention." Raphael said dismissing her worry.

Clary took a deep breath and smiled at Raphael. "Thanks."

"Anytime Hermosa." Raphael said with a wink.

Spanish Class was over in an instant. Clary said goodbye to Raphael and walked with Alec to her last class. Alec was a bit apprehensive when she told him it was with Jace but he tried not to let it show.

Thankfully for him Jace wasn't in class yet. He said goodbye to Clary and hurried off to his last class.

Jace arrived just before the bell rang as to avoid seeing his brother in the hall with Clary. He didn't want to see them making out as a giant 'fuck you' to his failure.

Clary was a bit worried about the class since Jace had proven to be petty and disrespectful when things didn't go his way. Thankfully he was civil the entire class. He never once looked in her direction. He did however flirt with the girls near him. Clary would have taken it personally if it wasn't for the small fact that she didn't give a rat's hairy ass what he did.

Just like Spanish class Art class was over in a flash. Time always fly's when you are enjoying yourself.

Clary and Alec had already agreed to meet up by the locker rooms in order to save time. True to their agreement Alec was waiting for Clary by the entrance. He hugged her and after a brief chat they went into their respective changing rooms to get ready.

This time Clary wasn't bombarded by tedious interrogation. Instead she was gifted with listening to Leah sing "Clary and Alec sitting in a tree…" She knew Leah was teasing but it made her blush at the fact that they hadn't shared their first kiss.

Once everyone was out of the locker rooms and on the track field Coach went through the basic drills. Clary was finally able to run. Her body was itching to just take off. However it would seem Coach had a different idea in mind.

Coach Garroway called Clary over to him and thoroughly asked her how she was feeling. It made Clary a bit cranky since this was about the billionth time someone asked her today. After she convinced him she was fine and well enough to run did he let her. Although, he did ask her to go slowly for the first few laps.

When Clary went back to her spot she was greeted by a smirking Alec. He apparently thought it was funny. Especially since her face became redder with her frustration. When he said that she blushed from embarrassment. Alec then couldn't help it and straight out laughed. He was punished for interrupting by having to do jumping jacks until the coach said for him to stop.

Clary simply smirked at the tired looking Alec and mockingly mouthed 'JAJA' to him.
Thankfully no one seemed to ask Clary again if she was okay. She did however feel everyone's eyes on her all the time. Alec kept his pace with hers and stayed by her side just in case and because he wanted to be near her.

When it was time to change Clary and Alec decided to stay as they were and sit under a tree to talk. They wanted to have a conversation without anyone intervening and or gawking at them.

"So how were your classes?" Clary asked.

"Long, everyone kept asking me questions or passing me notes. I had no idea who those people were." Alec said.

"Same here. I'm just glad it died down a bit after lunch." Clary said.

"We can thank your brother for that. After everyone saw that he obviously knew the novelty wore off." Alec said as he took a drink from his water bottle.

"One of the few times Jon gets everyone's attention and nothing happens." Clary smiled.

"I'm glad, I actually want to get along with your brother. I don't want to drive a wedge between you two." Alec said.

"You're not. Jon just needs to get it through his head that I won't stay a baby forever." Clary said as she leaned on the tree and relaxed.

"I get why it's not easy for him. No big brother likes the idea of his baby sister dating." Alec said as he flashed back to the first time he saw Izzy kissing a boy.

"There's a difference between you and Jon. Jon doesn't know when to butt out. I can't imagine you trying to pull that off on Izzy. I'm sure she would throw her shoe at you." Clary said laughing.

"She would and she has. Those things hurt." Alec said as he absentmindedly rubbed his head.

Clary and Alec laughed. They spent the rest of their time talking under the tree. Clary wanted to ask him more about his childhood and his favorite everything but they had no time. She knew right then and there what their first date would be. Nothing but questions taking turns while on a picnic. Something about just being outdoors with him seemed natural. When track was finally over Alec and Clary gathered their belonging and said goodbye by the changing rooms.

Alec watched Clary walk towards the soccer fields. He didn't like that Jace would be there but he was happy her brother wouldn't allow Jace near her anyways. Alec smiled as she disappeared from his view. Clary was his girlfriend. IT was a dream come true.

Don't worry there will be more as soon as I can write it. I just wanted you all to get an update. Hope you all like where Clary and Alecs relationship is going. I will try and add Alec and Valentine meeting soon.
