But I would like to keep Kikyo alive!

She wasn't very nice I admit, and I hated her as well.

But when she - finally - died, she was kind and back to her true self.

I like her, I think Inuyasha messed her up is all :3

Kagome wakes up to light shining on her face.

"Ughh...," mutters Kagome as she rolls over in her most comfortable bed.

...Wait...

Kagome's eyes open wide as she remembers last night.

To come face to face with Sesshomaru's.

"Good morning mate." Says Sesshomaru, smiling.

"Morning." Says Kagome, blushing.

"Did we… um… really…?" Questions Kagome.

Sesshomaru chuckles.

"Yes, mate," says Sesshomaru,"And you had no objections."

Kagome smiles.

"Of course not. Why would I?"

Sesshomaru smiles, starting to tickle Kagome.

Kagome breaks into fits of laughter.

"P-Please S-Sesshomaru!" Kagome cries with laughter.

Sesshomaru just laughs and continues to tickle her.

Until there's a knock on the door.

Sesshomaru frowns.

"Who is it? And this best be important, this Sesshomaru is in bed with his mate."

Kagome blushes.

"Lord Sesshomaru, I am sorry for the disturbance, but your half brother Inuyasha is here. He says it's important. And he wishes for Lady Kagome to come as well."

Sesshomaru starts growling.

Kagome lays a hand on his face to calm him.

"Let's just go to see what he wants." She says.

Sesshomaru looks into her eyes, searching for something almost before he nods.

Kikyo opens her eyes, feeling the water pushing her down the river farther and farther.

Summoning her strength, she grabs a rock.

'I don't have enough strength to hold onto this forever.' Kikyo concludes.

Kikyo digs her heels into the bottom of the stream.

She looks around at her surroundings, remembering her fall from the cliff.

'As much as I wish to wonder on my current predicament, I have much more to worry about.'

Kikyo takes the rock and uses her physical strength to move it, edging closer and closer to the bank of the river.

Finally exhausted, Kikyo realizes she doesn't have the strength to push the rock all the way.

Kikyo slumps over the rock.

'I have never been the physical type.' Kikyo thinks sadly.

Kikyo lays over the rock, barely saving herself from being pushed back into the will of the river.

Finally, Kikyo begins to close her eyes.

'I should just give myself up to the river. How many times has it been now, that I have l gone against death? I should just die...'

"Miss! Are you okay?! Don't worry, I'll get you out of there!" Yells a mysterious voice.

Kikyo doesn't even have the strength to look up when she hears the water around her begin to splash around.

"Don't worry, I'll get you out of here."

Kikyo feels herself getting lifted up into a pair of strong arms, immediately feeling comforted and safe.

"W….Who.. are….you." Asks Kikyo, breaking her words from exhaustion.

"My name is Hajikin, and, despite the circumstances, it's nice to meet you."

Kikyo manages a small smile before she falls into unconsciousness.

AN: I hope you guys liked this! And I think I just hate Inuyasha.

(Hajikin is totally a made up name, and I'll try to come up with what he looks like in the next chapter. But, well, he will have a good sense of humor, which Kikyo needs!)
