It has been forever since I updated, but I have good news...

STRAIGHT A'S

YES. I KNOW. I am happy XD . But I'm sorry I haven't updated in forever, this chapter will mainly focus on Kikyo and Hajikin! Then I'll see if I wanna made Inuyasha an: A. Douchenozzle B. Kind C. DEAD ... Haha no, its either

Douchenozzle or kind. He might die later. We'll see. I think I'll update this now once a week, I wanna keep my grades up, plus I admin an Inuyasha page, I also need to start posting on THAT! Ugh I put grades before everything for once and its bad! But here we go!

Kikyo groggily wakes up, turning over and rubbing her eyes.

"Oh! Ma'am are you alright?" A voice asks.

"Y...Yes...I think so." Kikyo mumbles, trying to sit up.

"Here!" Someone says.

Kikyo hears something put in front of her and opens her eyes all the way.

Her eyes widen as she sees bread, soup, and tea.

"This is all for me?" She asks in surprise.

"Yes! I remember you Priestess Kikyo!" Says the voice.

Kikyo finally looks up.

Her eyes widen as her eyes fall upon the most handsome man she has ever seen.

His hair is tied into a ponytail, falling onto his left shoulder, almost dark blue.

His eyes had a bit of a narrowness to them, while also being inviting and kind, his eyes being baby blue.

His smile seemed to grow even bigger, if that was even possible, he had been smiling very wildly before.

"Why are you smiling so much?" Kikyo asks, blushing and noticing she was bandaged and only had a blanket covering herself.

The man smiles.

"It's not everyday you meet a famous priestess!" He exclaims happily.

Kikyo looks around.

"Where is your wife? I assume it was her, or one of the village healer's who bandaged me?" She asks curiously.

The mans smile fades, only to return like it was never gone.

"I don't have a wife, and I live alone in the forest."

Kikyo accepts that, then while thinking, blushes.

"Does that mean... you...bandaged me?"

The man nods.

"Oh and how rude! I know you, yet you don't know me! My name is Hajikin Mesuzo! Nice to meet you!" He then kneels and bows.

Kikyo smiles kindly.

"There's no need for that, we are equals. I am just a mere human now. Well... human if it was stretched... I was reincarnated you see." Kikyo explains.

She stops to look at him, only to see him nodding encouragingly for her to continue.

She smiles.

"Well... for you to understand you must hear it all, from the start."

"I was the protector of the Sacred Jewel, along with my little sister Kaede. As I slayed so many demons, I couldn't live a life like normal girls. I did not hate demons. I didn't like them either. I just told them to be on their way,

or they would be destroyed... one day...I met a half-demon...named Inuyasha. I...I loved him. He however desired the Sacred Jewel to become a full fledged demon... I wanted to live a life with him. A normal one. However,

fate seemed to be cruel. Naraku, who was also a half-demon hanyou, desired the Sacred Jewel and he tricked myself and Inuyasha into betraying each other. I believed - because of Naraku - Inuyasha desired nothing

except for the Sacred Jewel, so I... sealed him to the Goshinboku, before I died. Before I died however, I told my sister to burn the Sacred Jewel with my body so it would not fall into the hands of evil."

She looks up, expecting him to look shocked, or mortified at the idea of a priestess loving a half-demon, or her death.

However, he was listening attentively, and looked interested, not shocked, nor mortified.

Curious.

So she continued.

" Fifty years later, I was reincarnated by the demon ogress Urasue, using grave soil and the soul of my reincarnation, Kagome. Afterwards, Kagome called her soul back, and so now I rely on soul collectors to survive.

Well... to sustain myself. At first I tried to kill Inuyasha, believing he was what Naraku had made me believe - cold and greedy. I even tried to kill Kagome. But when I found out it was Naraku, I stopped. I still loved Inuyasha,

but as I am dead, there would be no point. So I stood by and watched. However, Inuyasha still came to me. I could see it break Kagome, and then she left. I - by that time - had figured out I didn't love Inuyasha.

He was just the first man I actually could talk to. But... now I just try and help people. It's funny, you saved me this time. I owe you one."

Hajikin smiled kindly.

"You owe me nothing. It was nice to have someone around. Even if only for a day." Hajikin says.

Kikyo is surprised he wishes for nothing, but happily surprised.

"Well, if you want some more company, I have no where to be. I can help you around the house, hunt, and anything else you need." Kikyo says.

Hajikin smiles happily.

"That would be great! It'd be nice to have someone around the house!" Hajikin says.

Kikyo smiles, then looks around.

She noticed it was small, a kitchen, washroom, dining room, and she was in what seemed to be the only bedroom.

She noticed a cot next to her, though it seemed smaller.

"Did I take your bed Hajikin?" Kikyo asks surprised.

Hakijin nods, smiling.

"You needed it more than I did, plus I had an extra one. I put it next to yours just in case you had nightmares, or needed any help."

Kikyo's heart skips a beat at the thought of Hajikin sleeping next to her.

She places a hand over her heart, confused.

'I thought... did... did Hajikin just make my heart beat? My dead/reincarnated heart?'

I DID IT.
