Hey guys! Long time. Missed me? :P
I had actually forgotten most of the story so I re-read it. Some places I felt it seems like such a kidish story and Elizabeth seems like such an emotional drama queen lol but I guess I accomplished in showing that she's bad at handling emotional crap.
Another discrepancy I noticed was the timeline, It's not really clear so I want to let you guys know that it's been quite some time that she's here at the palace.
Overall I wasn't really happy with the entire story so far, therefore, I'd appreciate some feedback or reviews. Thanks.
Now without further ado;
DISCLAIMER: I OWN THIS STORY'S PLOT AND CHARACTERS.
Sneak out.
"Hello" I said, stunned by the beauty of these men standing around me.
David introduced me to all of them standing in a semi circle.
The blond man was Edmund who was engaged to Edmund. The girls made it easier by standing next to their fiancés.
The brunette was Darius who was committed to Bea.
Helen stood next to a man called Sebastian.
I got a chance to meet Claire and Victor. They were the only married couples. And we all know Lincoln who was hanging out with this group along with Tom.
All of these couples looked stunning together and they kept admiring David and me along with how much they thought he had changed because of me.
I noticed all of them had different color eyes, which means they all came from important families, which is obvious. I mean you wouldn't see the crown prince having a bunch of commoners as best friends.
Just when they were going to start telling me all of David's memories with them, good and bad they got interrupted.
"Okay that's enough boys!" said David laughing.
When we walked away I said "You have such a nice group of friends!"
"I know right, even if we meet after centuries we're still the best of buds. They're amazing friends, we are always there for each other. Anyway, enough about them, It's time for us to sneak out." He whispered the last part to me.
Well it took us approximately forty five minutes to sneak out as everyone would just stop us wanting to talk to us. If I had to sneak out from my place it would've barely taken me five minutes.
As we exited the hall I said "I'm so tired. Sneaking out is really hard!"
"Nothing easy in our world sadly." He smiled "If you're tired we can just go to our room and relax-"
But I cut him off "No, let's do whatever you planned but I guess I'd be more comfortable out of this gorgeous dress." I smiled complimenting his taste in clothes.
He laughed and said with a wink "I'd like that."
Understanding the double meaning behind my words I blushed lightly punching his arm "You know what I mean."
We went to our room and I gave him a light peck on his lips but before I could turn away from him and go to the bathroom to changed he grabbed me, pulling me closer, deepening the kiss.
Before we knew it we were on the bed, him on top of me, breathing heavily.
"I love you, with all my heart" He said while putting a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"I love you too, more than you can even imagine." I couldn't believe how much I loved him. It was overwhelming.
"I know how you feel love"
I chuckled lightly. "It's unfair! You know how I feel but you keep this barrier thing on!"
"My emotions will be too much for you to handle."
"Try me."
And he let his barrier down. There was a flood of emotions! But I knew for sure he loved me probably more than anyone could love someone.
"You're right it is a lot to take in but I'm glad you let me in." I smiled. "Now let me go change."
I got up and hurriedly wore something comfortable yet sexy. It was a pink T-shirt with white shorts.
"So where are we going to go?" I noticed he had changed into casual clothes, wearing a blue shirt with jeans. He looked great in casual.
"We'll be staying on the property for obvious reasons but there is this deserted place I know off. No one goes there- hold on tight."
I felt a rush of air and in a flash of light we were standing on a gazebo surrounded by nature. It was one of the most beautiful places I had seen so far. There was a fountain nearby as well. The entire area was lit up with candles.
"This place is beautiful, I love the candles you added" I put a hand on his arm. "Why is this place deserted? It's so pretty we should've come here earlier."
"It was.." He hesitated then turned away from me towards the gazebo. "Jazzlyn built this from scratch. She used to come here to relax.. No one came here after I killed her.. No one could bear coming here and hearing her voice echo, her smell in the roses, her touch in this gazebo.. She would've been fond of you." He turned to me and I could see unshed tears in his eyes.
I gave him a light hug. "I can see just by this place what a lovely person she was."
We walked towards the gazebo hand in hand.
I was pleasantly surprised at him opening up to me the way he did so I mentioned it to him "I'm glad you told me this and bought me here."
He smiled "Of course I must. I'll be spending the rest of my life with you. Have to let you in." He leaned in for a kiss.
After sharing a sweet kiss we just sat there in silence enjoying the light breeze. It was getting chilly so I moved closer to him and leaned against his chest as he put his arms around me.
"What's your favorite food?" David asked me.
"Pizza. I'd ask you yours but I think I know the answer to that." I smiled.
"Favorite color?"
I laughed. We were doing what we had missed in our initial start of our relationship. "That's a tough one. I guess red or hot pink! Oh and black or blue too! I'm hopeless. What about your favorite color?"
"Black"
"Favorite actor?"
"These days? Hugh Jackman! Did you see the latest X-men? It was amazing. What about you? "
"Haha I don't have time for movies but I guess these days Scarlett Johansson"
"Favorite animal?" I asked.
"Lion."
"I totally expected you to say that. Hey can you get me a blanket? It's getting kind of cold."
"Sure" he said. He got up and put me on the gazebo bench.
I stood up when he left and stood next to one of the posts.
He had just left when suddenly I saw a bright light and instantly knew I was going to have another vision.
I heard the same voice as the one in the other visions.
'Tsk tsk, that trick in the park where you said "bring in on" *sigh* I'm disappointed in how lightly you heed my warnings. I think it's time to show you just how seriously we need to be taken.'
It seemed like this person was enjoying this.
'Don't you just love David? Let's see how well he will be after tonight. The minute he returns... You'll see. Have fun.'
When the light disappeared I couldn't get my heart to stop racing. What if something happened to David? This has gone way beyond what I had imagined. I knew I looked as white as a ghost as the blood drained from my face. For the first time I feared for David's life! If something happened to him I would never forgive myself or live with myself. But wait, could someone actually even hurt him? He is invincible after all isn't he?
Before my internal turmoil could finish David returned.
Ding ding ding!
Don't forget to review!
I feel like maybe this chapter isn't as good as the other chapters but I'll be waiting for what you guys have to say about it.
Much love. 3
