The two walked into the boarding school, not expecting what they saw. Levi gawked at what lie before him. Just the main lobby had a high ceiling and a massive chandelier. He followed Erwin to the front desk. He couldn't stop looking around. It was incredible.

"Hello, I am Doctor Smith. I have come to give the children living here some checkups." Erwin spoke calmly.

"Oh yes hello Dr. Smith. We have been expecting you, who's this?" She spoke, pointing at Levi.

Levi shuffled out to the side, "I'm Levi, Dr. Smith's helper."

The lady nodded, "I see. I'll hand you a list of rooms you need to visit, its not that many."

She turned her chair around and opened a filing cabinet. Pulling out a sheet of paper, she faced the two adults. Placing the paper on the desk, she smiled at them.

"Here is the list of rooms that need looking upon, not too many so its shouldn't take you long."

"Thank you so much." Erwin took the paper and thanked the lady.

She looked at Levi then shook her head and smiled, "No problem. I hope that the kids don't give you any trouble."

The two men walked to the dorms and checked the list. Walking to the elevator they started their ascent. After seeing all but one of the rooms, Levi spoke up.

"Erwin, is this really what you enjoy doing? I mean, checking up on the health of brats."

Erwin nodded, "When I went to college I didn't start off with medical studies. I had started off in business. I hated it, so I dropped out and joined medical studies. I don't know why I did but I am glad I did. Do you know why?"

No reply.

"It gave me the opportunity to meet you Levi. I truly believe that without me you would be dead."

"I never thought of it that way." The short male muttered.

Erwin patted him on the shoulder and led him into the elevator. He pressed the button for the top floor and they waited till they heard the ding. The two walked down the hall until they reached a room with two large oak wood doors. A sign on the door read, 'Please ring the bell if the door is not cracked open. Thank you!'
Levi quickly found the button and pressed it. A chime played and someone unlocked the door. The door opened and a brunet stood in the doorframe.

"Are you Doctor Smith?" The boy asked.

"Yes I just so happen to be him. Whats your name?" Erwin replied.

"Eren." The two shook hands.

"Are the other two inside?"

Eren nodded, "They are in their rooms studying. I can get them if you want."

Erwin smiled, "I have to come in anyway so I can just got to their rooms."

The brunet sighed, "Oh alright. Would you like anything to eat or drink?"

Erwin shook his head and turned around to Levi,"Do you want anything?"

Levi nodded, "If he has any water."

The green eyed boy smiled and welcomed them inside, stating that it was cold in the hallway. He led the way to the other boys' rooms and wen to the kitchen to get Levi something to drink.

"Levi go talk to him. I'll be fine on my own." Erwin told the raven.

Levi rolled his eyes, "Fine, but what the hell do I talk about? What if he asks about my arms?"

"Then answer him if you so wish. If not just switch to a new topic. If he refuses and tries to force it out of you, do what you so desire. Just talk with him. Please."

Erwin walked to the rooms and knocked on the door, a blonde peeked out and welcomed him inside. Levi looked at the brunet and sighed, he knew that the boy would ask about his arms but he had to do as he was told. Walking into the kitchen he took seat and Eren just stared at him.

"You name is Levi right?" Levi jumped when he heard the boy's voice.

"Um yeah. Eren?"

"Thats my name."

"So what brought you to this place?" Levi asked.

Eren scratched his head and gave Levi the glass of water, "Well its quite a long story actually."

"I've got time."

The boy sighed, "Well ever since I was about five years old I was living on the streets. I had made my way around, taking refuge in people's homes. I liked it. As I grew older it started to get hard to do my usual routines, the police caught on to the fact that there was a boy that was causing 'havoc' in the city. I had never done anything wrong before, never stole, I always asked for things. At the age of twelve I started getting chased. The chases would last at least 30 minutes at the start. But as I grew older and learned my surroundings, they would last at minimum 2 hours. I was fast. I could outrun even their dogs. But one day, I was sitting atop my favorite building, when my supposed 'best friend' came up to me. Turned out she was just a cop in disguise, got me caught. It was rough at the station, but nothing I couldn't handle. Some lady then took me here. After awhile of being here I still miss feeling so free running around the streets. I came to my senses and one night climbed to the rooftop. Of course Jean followed me, but that wasn't too out of the ordinary. He was just making sure his boyfriend wouldn't jump."

Levi stopped him, "Wait boyfriend? Your gay?"

Eren looked at him weirdly, "Yeah. Got a problem with that?"

"Nope. We are in the same boat, except Im not dating anyone."

"Oh, alright. How about you? Whats your life story?"

Levi stared at the boy, debating inside whether or not to tell him.

"I will tell you on one condition."

"Of course."

"You tell no one. You keep it a secret."

"You can trust me."

Levi took a deep breath and began.
