Chapter Thirty-Six

The King and his Daughter

Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon.

Darien looked ahead of himself. He was dressed in his royal garments in military style blue coat that matched the color of his eyes. A golden belt was wrapped around his waist and dark slacks and shiny black shoes and a golden slash across his shoulders. On his shoulders were golden medals indicating his rank as the commander- in- chief of his golden armies and a golden insignia with his family crest pinned on the right side of his jacket. He wore a large red robe with long tail that dragged on the floor behind him.

He stood in the entrance of a beautiful large gothic styled cathedral adorned with high golden walls with stained glass windows and religious paintings and tall arched doorways. The golden pews with red cushions were filled with over three thousand guests including the Tuskinos, the Furuhata, and Eddie and Ami dressed in dressy clothes. The choir dressed in white robes with large golden crosses in front stood behind the Archbishop singing in an angelic voice Libera's version of "Ave Maria." The pipe organist played the melody on a piano next to the choir. Someone shouted, "All rise for the king!" Everyone rose.

Darien strolled along the red carpet. He was scared inside but walked with his head held high with a stern facial expression and with an air of confidence. People nodded and bowed as he passed them. He saw the Arch Bishop of Elysian at the front of the church dressed in a white robe with a golden stole over his shoulders. He saw his family seating in seats next to the pulpit. Adam and Raye sat together dressed in royal attire. Evelyn sat with the children including his own children who smiled happily at their father especially Katie. Ami and Eddie sat next Irene, Ken, and Sammy. Cain appeared in the church next his brother Adam in his royal attire. Mina did not want to attend and pretend to be happy. Cain returned her to her room where she cried herself into a deep sleep. The Furuhata family sat on the back row of the section. The Elysians sat in the pupil next to them. Darien knelt down before the archbishop.

While Darien was at his coronation, Alexandra screamed in pain in her bed with the witch doctor between her bent legs spread apart talking her through the delivery. She felt like the baby was trying to rip its way out as deep cuts and scratches appeared on the inside of her stomach. Dragon sat on his throne impatiently awaiting news of the delivery of his child. Jeth stood outside Alexandra's room and listened to her cries and pains. He saw her ladies in waiting rushing in and out of the room covered in blood.

He heard one said, "She's dying. There is no way that she will live through this birth. The baby is sucking the life from out of her. Her insides are extremely damaged."

Darien knelt down with a bowed head as the Archbishop held the golden crown, bejeweled with blue, red, and white diamonds all around it and a golden cross with a diamond center at the front of it, mid-air over Darien's head talking in an ancient language. He slowly lowered the crown until it landed on Darien's head. He drew the symbol of the Catholic cross. Darien closed his eyes as a golden light shone from the heavens directly onto him.

The witch doctor yelled at Alexandra as her body was covered in sweat. The crown of the baby's head came out.

The crowd gasped and whispered in shock when the spirit of King Endymion appeared from the heavens looked regal and powerful dressed in his golden armor and cape. The Sword of the Earth started to vibrate inside of the glass cage of Endymion's private chambers.

Endymion's ghost walked towards a knelt down Darien. His body dissolved into Darien's body. Endymion's eyes turned golden as Endymion took complete possession of Darien's body. He kissed the ring on the Archbishop's hand.

A baby cried as the witch doctor proudly delivered the child. A weak Alexandra smiled. Her long dark hair plastered against her sweaty skin. He breathing became short as she felt herself becoming weaker. The nurses wiped the child off.

The glass case shattered as the Sword of the Earth flew out of the room through the hallways and through the city towards the church. It zoomed through the church doors towards its master. The Archbishop panicked as the sharp pointy end of the sword head charged directly towards him. Endymion held out his hand and quickly caught the sword and pointed it down into the ground. The Archbishop sighed in relief as he told the king to rise. He turned around and someone yelled loudly, "All hail Endymion, the King of the Earth." Endymion stood with a stoic expression as the crowd cheered. His children cheered loudly along with the rest of the citizens of the Earth, who watched the ceremonies through holograms in the sky.

Alexandra smiled when she was handed her child wrapped tightly in a black blanket. She was surprised to find that her child was a little girl with black hair and dark eyes like her. She looked completely healthy with five fingers and ten toes. The baby girl cooed as she opened her eyes for the first time and looked at her mother.

Dragon walked into the room and smiled. He was dressed in a red robe. He grabbed the child from his mother's embrace. Alexandra smiled not offended at all at her husband. She was completely submissive to his will. He held the small child in his hand careful not to scratch her with his claws.

Dragon was amazed that Alexandra was still alive. Most of his wives and concubines who gave birth to his one thousand children died instantly after childbirth. He no longer had any use for her now that she had given him the weapon that he needed to take over the other two realms of heaven and earth. Dragon walked out of the room with the child along with everyone else. Alexandra sighed with her head pressed against the pillow. She was left alone as her heart slowed in its beating. Her breathing stilled and her heart beat ceased. Her body stilled as she died alone.

One of her ladies walked in to find her body stiff. She placed a blanket over her face. She walked through the hallway and said uncaringly, "The queen is dead." Jeth felt a sense of dread inside.

King Endymion walked on terrace of the East wing of the castle with his children behind him. They looked in awe as they looked down at the nine hundred thousand humans cheering from their king in Elysian and below on the earth.

Endymion said, "Wave children!"

Derrick, Katie, and Rini waved happily to the crowd now having officially received their titles as the prince and princesses of the Earth as the sun shone brightly throughout the world as it welcomed its new king.

The rest of the day was filled with festivities as they danced and mingled with their guests and relatives. Katie smiled as she sat on her father's lap. He was sitting on his golden throne as the guests danced in the ball room inside of the castle.

Adam danced with Raye. Eddie danced with Ami, and Andrew danced with Lita. Endymion smiled as he watched his friends danced together at the center of the room. Rini, Annabella, and Derrick ran around the room playing tag driving Lord Davenport insane. Evelyn danced with her husband Joe. Cain stood next to Endymion's throne with his hands clasped behind his back.

Endymion asked, "Brother, you're awfully quiet today. Are you are upset that I took your crown?"

Cain answered amused. "You can have it." Cain looked at the happy guests. "Enjoy this night, your majesty. Tomorrow, you have to decide on how are we are going to govern the humans and deal with Dragon's child, which will be born any day now."

Endymion did not want to hear about Serenity's child with the devil. He looked at Andrew dancing with his wife. "I was thinking of making Andrew one of my councilmen."

Cain said with a slight distaste, "You want a mortal on your council. The Senate will have a field day with that."

Endymion asked, "Is it possible?"

"Yes, it is. You have absolute power. This is your world. You have been blessed by Uno and the Earth King as the ruler of this world. Without you, we cease to exist."

"What is this talk about extinction? I read some of the Elysians' thoughts and they fear it."

Cain smiled. "Now, that we have you as our king once more and the power of the golden crystal. That problem has been solved. But we do need new blood. The remaining Elysians are all related now and have intermarried so much. I fear we will soon bear freaks of nature."

"What do you advised?"

"Bring the remaining Earthlings to Elysians and used the power of the crystal to make them Elysians and make Elysians immortal."

Endymion grinned. "I thought you hated mortals."

"I hate extinction more." Endymion laughed at his brother.

Suddenly, the room grew silent and the music ceased as an ominous presence walked passed the castle's guards towards the king as the crowd parted. It was a strikingly handsome man dressed in a black tuxedo. His dark hair and seductive dark eyes gave him a dangerous yet sexy look. Endymion's eyes frowned as he looked at the man. The man smirked at Endymion with a wicked glint in his eyes on his tan skin. He had an air of confidence and regal look that matched Endymion.

He said in an attractive voice, "Don't worry Endymion. I come in peace."

Endymion growled worrying his daughter Katie. "What are doing here, Malcolm?"

Prince Malcolm bowed before Endymion in a cynical manner. "I am here as a peace offering, Endymion on behalf of my brother, King Matthew. There are rumors spreading through the intergalactic community that evil lurks throughout the earth. He offers you his assistance in your battle."

Endymion said as if his presence disgusted him. "I want nothing from you or your brother. I remembered the hell that you caused in the Silver Millennium. You are just as evil."

Prince Malcolm laughed unfazed. "I confessed I am the devil's cousin. My family may be a part of the Dark Moon family, but light cannot exist without darkness and darkness cannot exist without light. We balanced each other out."

Endymion said disgusted, "Get the hell off my planet. The last thing I need is your assistance in anything."

Prince Malcolm grinned. "I told my brother that you would not accept our help." He shrugged his shoulders. "But let's hope history does not itself, right Endymion?"

Endymion yelled as the room shook startling everyone, "GET OUT OF MY KINGDOM!"

Prince Malcolm grinned. "As you wish, your majesty. Congratulations on your crown. I hope you are a better king this time around than you were before." Prince Malcolm smiled at Katie sitting in her father's lap. The girl stared at him as if he mystified her.

Prince Malcolm smiled charmingly at the girl causing Katie to turn red. "Hello Princess Katherine."

Katie's eyes widen. He knew her name.

Prince Malcolm glanced at her father. "Our services will not be offered again. You're on your own Endymion. May Uno be with you." Prince Malcolm turned on his heel and strolled out the room as everyone looked at him. The room was so quiet his footsteps could be heard leaving the room. The guests whispered amongst themselves.

Endymion smiled. "Let the festivities continue." The music started and people started to mingle and dance again.

Kate feigned tiredness covering her little mouth and yawning. She said tiredly in an innocent voice, "Daddy, may I go up to my room? I'm getting sleepy."

Endymion kissed his daughter's hair. He said, "Of course, sweetheart. Do you know the way?"

Katie nodded quickly. She had a photographic memory.

Katie kissed her father's cheek. "I love you, daddy."

"I love you too, sweetheart."

Mina wore in a strapless silver sequin gown with a sweetheart neckline and long split. She strolled through the halls of the castle. Her hair was styled in a braided bun. She wore diamond earrings and a matching diamond necklace. She was not up to the mood of partying, but she wanted to show Darien, well Endymion now, her support. He was her friend after all.

She rushed down the halls. Her matching silver high heels clicked with every step. She looked down for a brief second hoping that her dress would not get caught under her heels. She looked up and bumped into something hard. She closed her eyes fearing that she was about to fall. When she did not feel the impact of the floor, she opened her eyes and found her back bent with a hard hand on her back. She looked up into the dark eyes of a handsome man with dark good looks. Her body tingled as she parted her lips. He stared at her as intensively as she was staring at her. He slowly pulled her to her feet never taking his eyes off of her.

He looked familiar to her like she knew him a long time ago. She asked, "Do I know you?"

He smiled at her. "In another life and time."

Mina said pointing towards the ballroom. "Well, I have to go in." She politely thanked him for catching her and then walked towards the ballroom.

Malcolm smiled. "Good-bye, Mina." She quickly spun around.

"I never told you my name." But she was talking to the air. Malcolm had already vanished.

Katie lifted her dress as she raced across the green lawns before the stranger vanished. She raced as fast as her tiny feet would carry her.

She cried out, "Hey!"

Prince Malcolm stopped in his tracks. He turned to the girl. When he saw her, he smiled. "Hello Princess Katherine, what are you doing here?"

Katie stopped a few feet away from him. She bent over to catch her breath. She stood up straight as he looked at her with amused eyes. "How did you know my name?"

Malcolm smiled. "You're Serenity's daughter. I can tell. You're just as beautiful as your mother."

Katie was shocked. "You knew my mother."

He stuffed his hands in his pocket. He nodded. "In a different life and time, your mother and I were friends."

Katie asked, "What do you mean, in a different time life and time?"

Malcolm smiled. "I have lived over a thousand years. I have the ability to travel through different times and dimensions and I remember everything. In another life, I remembered you. We were extremely close like father and daughter. You were an amazing warrior. You died sacrificing yourself and helped save this world in another time."

Katie stood in disbelief. "You're telling me that I was great warrior."

Malcolm nodded. "And powerful like your mother."

Katie said surprised, "Me? A warrior? Like mom."

"Yes, you are Sailor Moon's daughter, are you not?"

"But I'm normal."

"Then become extraordinary. What's stopping you?" She glanced back at the castle behind her, where her father resided and was now king of.

Malcolm sensed no powers inside of her. Her powers were taken from her. She would have grown up to be a powerful warrior, with powers that rivaled her mother's.

Malcolm smiled. "Would you like to become a sailor warrior like your mother?"

Katie turned back to him. She asked curiously, "What you mean?"

"I trained Sailor Warriors. They are my people's greatest assets."

"There are more Sailor Warriors besides the ones on Earth?"

"There are thousands. There are many worlds out there besides this planet, Katie."

Katie asked nervously, "Can someone ordinary like me become a Sailor Warrior?"

Malcolm nodded. Katie grew happy. "Can I come with you?"

Malcolm smiled. "Only with your father's permission." Katie frowned like that was going to happen. Her father would never agree. He did not even allow them to play outside within the safety of the grounds without his permission. She had to wear a helmet to ride her bicycle and floaters on her arms in the pool, even though she was an excellent swimmer. He'll never let her go.

Malcolm said, "Katie, if you come, then there's a strong possibility that you will never see your family again."

Katie turned back to him. "What do you mean?"

"It takes years to train to become a sailor warrior or guardian as we like to refer to them as. You'll be leaving your father and siblings behind. I cannot guarantee that you will return home or ever see them again. Are you willing to take that risk?"

Katie remained silent. Rini was like her better half. They were inseparable and only grew closer throughout the years. She loved Derrick too. He quickly grew on her and he was a really good big brother. She loved her father, but he hardly saw his children. They met one hour a day to eat breakfast and that's all.

Katie asked, "Must I decide now?"

Malcolm said, "You have six hours. I have to return to my world to deal with pressing matters. But I will leave the portal open to my dimension until midnight in your time right here. Once the portal closes, you'll never see me again and this offer is null and void. And you must ask your father's permission first."

Katie felt the wind picking up as it blew around her. Prince Malcolm's eyes turned darker a large black portal opened up in front of him. He bowed and said, "I have to go, princess. The choice is yours."

"Absolutely not!" King Endymion said pacing Katie's bedroom floor when he went to check on his children before he left to attend another party thrown in his honor. He looked suave and handsome in his black tuxedo. Derrick and Rini could hear her father loud and clear through their bedrooms. He was upset that Katie wanted to go with Malcolm to become a sailor scout.

"Father, I can be a great asset to the earth."

"No! You are a child. Only eight."

Katie sat up in her bed in her pink pajamas and her long strawberry hair hanging loosely down her back and over her shoulders. She glanced at the clock it was only ten. Katie looked up at her father. "Dad, I know what I want. I want to be a warrior like mother and you."

"Katie, no! My answer is final! Malcolm is a monster. "

"He's Lunarian like Aunt Mina and mother."

"The dark half. He's evil. He's a monster. He killed thousands of people. He's the evil that we fight against. I will not let him corrupt you!"

Katie frowned never being upset with her father before as much as she was this moment. Katie said cheekily under her breath. "You're one to talk."

Endymion slapped her harshly across the cheek. Katie looked startled at her father as she touched her cheek that still stung. He never stuck her before. He lashed out sharply scaring her, "I am your father, and I will not allow you to disrespect me under my roof. As long as you are in my house, you will obey me."

Katie looked down at her pink sheets wanting to cry clutching them with her tiny hands. She wished her mother was still alive. Her father was absolute and controlling. He saw things one way. His way. Katie remained silent turning her head away from him. She bit out spitefully, "Yes, father."

He walked out fuming. Rini and Derrick quickly scuttled back into their beds fearing their father's wrath. He hated that he lost him temper and stuck her. Her insolence hurt him, but he rather her hate him than have a dead daughter. He wished Malcolm was still in this world so that he could kill him.

His father walked out of the children's chambers. He spoke to two of the castle's guards. He ordered forcefully, "Make sure my daughter, Princess Katherine, does not leave her chambers."

The guards spoke at the same time, "Yes, your majesty."

Endymion's eyes glowed golden as he walked the halls of the castle still fuming at his daughter. Katie watched in horror as her windows slammed shut automatically locking and her door closed. She jumped out of her bed and tried to unlock the windows. They were barred shut. She tried to open her door twisting her doorknob, but it was locked also. The lock to the door was on the inside of her room. She knew her father used his powers to lock her in. He did not trust her. She hollered banging on the door and crying. "Please daddy! Let me out!" He heard her cries and ignored them. Derrick and Rini emerged from their room hearing their little sister's cries. They quickly rushed back into their rooms when they saw the castle guards patrolling outside.

Katie lied bawled up on the floor holding her stuffed giraffe tightly to her chest. It was eleven-thirty now. In thirty minutes, her dreams of becoming a sailor warrior would be over. Her father would never let her become a warrior. He did not care. He wanted her to be his little princess forever. She no longer believed his lies when he told her that she was going to become a warrior. She remembered what Alex, their nanny, told her about being her best. Her mother was the complete opposite of her father. Their mother would encourage them to use their powers. Their father did not want them too.

"He took away your powers." Katie looked up to see her brother and sister standing in front of her. They had teleport into her room.

Katie asked baffled at her sister's words, "What?"

Rini said, "The day after you were kidnapped, I felt my Lunarian powers being taken away from me like some powerful force was ripping through my body. You lost your powers that day from both our Lunarian and Elysian blood. Derrick and I both received our Elysian's powers before father cast the spell. But they can be taken prior to you receiving them. All I know is that when Derrick, Karen, and I returned home from our shopping trip, you no longer had your powers. Before I could sense your powers dormant waiting to be awaken. Dad seemed a little bit too pleased. I think he took your powers and my Lunarian powers."

"But why?" Rini and Derrick shrugged their shoulders.

Derrick said, "It's probably for a good reason."

Katie said angrily with hot tears, "I hate him. I hate our father. He's a monster that made both of our mothers miserable until their deaths."

Rini and Derrick glanced at one another. It was okay for them to talk ill about their father, but not Katie. She was his favorite. She was the one who told him that she loved him regardless of how much of a monster he became. She scolded them on talking bad about their dad. Always, hopeful, that he will be the wonderful dad he once was when their mothers lived.

Katie looked at her siblings. "I feel like I am in prison."

Rini asked, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

Katie looked at her sister confused. "Rini, I can't."

Derrick smirked. "If this is what you want, we'll help."

Katie said outraged, "Dad will kill you. He's crazy."

Rini smiled. "We can handle father's punishment, but do you want this?" Rini knew that this was Katie's dream. She always wanted to become a powerful warrior like their mother. Her father unfairly took that away from her leaving her the only member of their family without extraordinary powers; even their Aunt Mina had her powers back. She was the only one left, and her father was happy with that. He was now king and had the power to remove Rini and Derrick's powers if he wanted to. But Katie was finally seeing her father for who he really was. He was a miserable monster who murdered ten thousand humans because of their affiliation with the New World Regime. He was the man who ordered the execution of the reborn even though they had blended into society. He was getting worst every day.

Katie turned to her siblings. "Katie, Derrick…" They smiled at her.

Katie embraced her siblings. She quickly grabbed some of her belongings and stuffed them into glittery backpack including Mr. Giraffe.

Rini, Derrick, and Katie formed a circle holding hands. Katie watched as her siblings eyes turned golden. The clock read fifteen minutes to twelve. They disappeared.

Endymion reclined in the back of a limousine on his way to the party at the Bowmans, an Elysian family who lived uptown side of the city. He was riding with Senator Luckington and his wife Camryn. Senator Luckington a wealthy man and independent Senator who had moderate views on how the planet should be govern. He spoke to Endymion on the ride to the party since Endymion allowed him to accompany him to the party. He did not want to be late to the party and Senator Luckington wanted to discuss politics. Endymion felt light and his stomach warm. In the far corner of the limo was a bottle of wine chilled on ice. Senator Luckington offered him a glass. Endymion was hesitant to take it since he was trying to be sober, but he felt the hatred in Katie towards him eating him up inside. He took a glass of wine that soon became four. Everything was hazy now and he could have sworn that Camryn's head was between his legs sucking him off. He could hear the sounds of suction. He glanced down and indeed she was engulfing him like a pro. He moaned in pleasure having forced himself to neglect the pleasure of a woman's warmth in two weeks. Fuck it, he thought. His children hated him. Serena was the evil. Karen was no longer alive to save him from himself. What was he keeping himself sober and celibate for? He knew everyone wanted him to save the day and save Serena and make everything right. He did not know how.

He moaned in pleasure and looked over at Senator Luckington who sat across from them with his legs crossed and looking down at paperwork on his lap. He asked, "Does it not bothered you, what your wife is doing to me?"

Senator Luckington glanced up at his king and said unmoved, "No, your majesty. What is mine is yours." Endymion thought that Cain was right. The Elysians were sick and twisted people, but he was no better. He was enjoying the pleasure of her mouth devouring him. He rested his head back on the seat in pleasure as he grabbed the back of Camryn's dark, curly locks and shoved her head down until she engulfed all of him.

Katie, Darien, and Rini appeared on the spot where Katie last saw Prince Malcolm. She was dressed in a teddy bear t-shirt, blue jeans, and her favorite Bright Light sneakers. Rini and Derrick stood in their pajamas and jackets. They stared at the portal. Katie turned and faced her siblings sadly.

She embraced Derrick as the wind picked up more strength and blew through roughly around them. The trees whistled as the wind grew harsher and powerful. Katie felt light and her mind clear. She turned to her brother and smiled. "I love you, Derrick. I'm glad you're my brother."

Derrick pulled her into a hug and held her tightly in his arms. He said in her ear, "You're a pain in the butt, but I love you too. Be safe and be the best." Katie giggled.

Katie let go of her brother and nodded staring at her brother. "I will. I'll make my mother proud." Derrick smiled and nodded at her.

Katie turned to Rini. They simply stared at each other not wanting to cry even though their eyes were on the verges of tears.

Rini spoke breaking the silence, "Be safe Katie…"

Katie nodded then as sad smile formed on her face. She choked, "I will Rini." She added arrogantly, "And I will grow to become a better warrior than you."

Rini laughed sarcastically. She knew Katie was giving her a backwards compliment. "You're delusional, little sister."

Katie turned to the portal that was growing smaller by the minute. It was eleven fifty-seven. Katie's eyes widen when Rini suddenly turned her around and encircled her arms around her little sister tightly not wanting to let her go. Rini cried, "I'll miss you."

Tears dripped from Katie's eyes. "I'll miss you too."

"I love you."

"I love you too. Please look after father. I know that there's hope for him. I still believe in him." Rini nodded holding her sister what appeared like a small eternity. She was her best friend. They have never been separated from one another and did everything together. The clock stuck eleven-fifty eight.

Derrick interjected glancing at his watch, "Girls, it's time. We only have two minutes left." The castle guards realized that the King's children were gone. The castle went into an uproar and panic. The alarms sounded on orders to find them.

Katie backed away from her sister. Rini held her hand as Katie backed up towards the portal. Derrick saw the castle's guards charging towards them. Katie's hand slowly slipped from Rini's fingers as they never took their eyes off of one another.

Katie stepped backwards into the dark hole slowly disappearing into the darkness. She glanced over her siblings' head at the golden castle and said sadly, "Good-bye father."

Endymion gasped hearing his daughter's voice. She was leaving. "Katie!" He disappeared. Camryn's face fell flat into the seat.

When all she saw was sister's hand, Rini slowly let go. Endymion appeared as the portal closed and everything returned to normal. His clothes already fixed. Rini collapsed to her knees and broke down into tears, "Katie!" She fell forward on her hands and shook her head as her tears soaked the ground. Derrick rushed over to Rini and embraced his sister rocking her in his arms as Rini cried on his chest soaking his shirt with her tears.

Endymion felt himself going crazy inside as he grabbed his hair not knowing what to do. His eyes grew crazy and mad. His blood started to boil. His chest started heaving rapidly. She was gone. He could no longer sense her presence in the world. He saw images flashed before his eyes of the day he held her in his arms for the first time, both as Endymion and as Darien. He saw the way her eyes lit up every time she saw him. He remembered the day in the park when he realized that he did not give a damn whether she was his daughter or not.

She was his heart. She was the only person that still believed in his goodness. He screamed, "No!"

For the next three days, he consulted his counsel about returning his daughter to him. They all informed him sadly that they knew nothing about this Prince Malcolm or the wild claims that he made.

In anger and uncontrollable grief, King Endymion locked himself in his private chambers mourning his daughter's loss. The golden crystal resonated glowing brightly. Fire, hurricanes, and twisters formed in the West Hemisphere killing thousands of humans. Typhoons and tsunamis flooded nations and earthquakes erupted throughout the earth. His siblings and the sailor scouts tried to break into his chambers and stop him, but he was too powerful with an unbreakable barrier surrounding his chambers.

Cain yelled at his other siblings and the sailor scouts, "He's eradicating the humans!"

Sailor Mercury yelled, "We cannot stop him. We must save the humans."

Cain glanced down at the devastation of the Earth that reminded him of the Judgment Day. A day that he thought had ceased to exist was being caused by his own brother. "We have to save as many humans as we can."

Cain ordered an emergency council meeting with the Senate and demanded that they banded together to save humanity.

One senator argued, "Let them die. They are beneath us."

Cain yelled, "We were humans once. The servants who have taken care of our home throughout the centuries are humans. The only thing that separates us from the humans is that the original Earth King randomly selected our ancestors to be Elysians. They are our equals. We must save them in order to survive."

Lord Davenport said disgusted, "Procreate with the humans. That's disgusting."

Cain yelled circling the Senate, "What's disgusting is fornicating with your own family members. We need new blood if the Elysians are to survive. We shall make the humans Elysians."

Another senator argued, "With your mad brother as the king?"

Cain said tightly, "Let me handle my brother. He's grieving for the loss of his daughter. I beg of you to help me save the humans before they become extinct."

The Senate reluctantly agreed to help Cain saved humanity. Every Elysian with the help of Sailor Scouts travelled throughout the world and teleported as many humans as possible to the borders of Elysian. People were struggling to survive. Some were trapped in their homes and on their rooftops. Others were in emergency shelters.

Sharp lightning and thunder rumbled in the sky as the Earth rained for forty days and forty nights killing the land creature on the earth. Cain and Jupiter found people stranded on their rooftops. Sailor Mercury found people trapped inside the Empire State Building in New York. Her eyes grew horrified as the water emerged to the level of the one thousand and fifty foot tall building. She used her powers to try to stop the water from flooding the hundreds of people in the tower. It was too powerful and Ami felt herself growing weaker. She believed that this was her last moment on Earth. Fatefully, dying by the power she possessed. Edward suddenly appeared before her with a golden aura like a god from the sky. His eyes were golden. She gasped, "You're an Elysian."

He nodded as he held up one hand to hold back the water collapsing on them with his wind power and he held out his other hand teleporting the humans to Elysian. He slid one arm around Mercury's waist. He embraced her as the water collapsed. They disappeared before the water drowned them.

They appeared back on Elysians as the churches, the hotels, and the houses were flooded with humans getting treated by the Elysians healing their wounds.

Mercury ran through the city. She saw Cain healing humans as Venus assisted him. She saw Andrew placing his medical skills to good use. Mars and Adam were still down on the Earth along with Evelyn. The Elysian children were in the nursery playing.

Adam, Mars, and Evelyn soon returned with hundreds of humans. There was nothing left they could do. The Earth was completely flooded. Anything left except the creatures of the sea were destroyed.

Evelyn's eyes watered with tears as she glanced down at the Earth. Her brothers Cain and Adam strolled over to her standing on opposite sides of her. Evelyn gripped the banister tightly until her hands turned white. She cried angrily, "He's a monster. How could he have done this? He's just as bad and mad as father."

Adam grew anger also, "Eight hundred and ninety thousand humans died in less than two months. We were only able to save about ten thousand. Eight hundred and ninety thousand humans are dead." He turned to Cain cynically. "Was it worth finding him, brother? Was this all necessary?"

Cain did not answer. He said trying to hide his guilt, "We had to. The humans would have become extinct anyway."

Evelyn said in disbelief, "But like this, by their king. This was cold and harsh."

"We would have become extinct, Evelyn. We had to find him."

Evelyn turned to Cain with hot tears, "No, we didn't. We should have let him die. This wasn't worth it." Cain's eyes grew wide as his sister angrily walked away.

Adam said resting his arms on the banister. "Endymion nearly eradicated the entire human race. Serenity has given birth to the Anti-Messiah. I think they are the evil that must be eradicated."

Cain said, "He is our brother."

Adam said, "That we have known for two minutes. He tried to kill us the first time he met us. We were better off when you were still king. You're still running things anyway."

Cain said, "He is our brother."

Adam turned to him. "I was four when Abel died. I barely remembered him. I feel no connection to this man like he feels none to us. We look the same. We share the same blood, but that does not make us family. The crystal has chosen wrong. You should've been king." Adam pushed himself away from the banister and walked off leaving Cain alone with his thoughts making him question his decision to save Endymion.

A woman dressed in black sat against the pillar of an Elysian church with a small child sitting next to her. She was nursing her baby daughter as the child hungrily suckled her breast. An Elysian priest with a receding hairline dressed in a brown hooded robe with a large golden cross on the center of it knelt before the woman and the small boy that looked evil with dark marble eyes. He hissed when the priest came close to the woman. The priest looked startled. The woman placed a gentle hand on the boy's arm causing him to immediately calm down. The priest knelt before her and said, "Miss, do you need anything?"

The woman said softly, "I'm fine, sir." He offered her warm bread and water. The boy snatched it from the priest's hand. The woman politely said, "Thank you father."

He said taking out a notepad, "We are taking account of all the humans. I need you name."

"Yes, father."

The woman removed her hood. He stared at the dark beauty with pale skin and dark seductive eyes and long ebony hair that flowed to the small of her back. Her perfect, full breasts enticed him as the small baby girl in her arms with black hair and dark eyes like her mother hungrily sucked on her mother' s breast.

Her pouty lips colored with black lipstick enticing him and he found himself wishing to do ungodly things with the woman. He prayed to God to resist the temptation that this woman was arousing out of him.

She said, "It's Alexandra Green. This is my daughter Kimberly Green and my son Jeth Green."

He penned in her name and asked looking up, "And your husband?"

Alexandra grinned. She remembered being dressed in black lying on a stone table with her hands clasped together over her stomach. Her body rested on a stone table under a black lace sheer sheet in a satanic church. She lied dead for three days before Jeth snuck in the church and pressed his hand on her heart resuscitating her. Her black heart started pumping again and her eyes popped opened. Her memories rushed back to her. He led her out the church by his tiny hands and explained that Dragon was going to turn the child evil. Alexandra thought the child was already evil. She was no longer under Dragon's spell of submissiveness now that her child was born. Jeth explained that the child is a creation of light and darkness. She could go either way. Jeth took Alexandra to a room where the child cried in an all-black crib with a dust ruffle crib skirt at the center of the room with a blue aura surrounding her. The demons were performing a satanic ritual as they danced naked wearing animal masks of goats, rams, and pigs. They drank wine made with the devil's blood, and fornicated with one another while Dragon sat in his throne watching the festivity as two female demons pleased him. Alexandra frowned. Jeth informed her that if they came back later, everyone would be asleep and the devil would be with his concubines.

They returned hours later when all the demons were gone or asleep. Alexandra walked into the nursery where she heard her daughter crying. The demon lady hissed in shock when they saw her. Before they could alert the others, Alexandra used her dark energy and blasted the creatures into obliteration as they screamed. Alexandra scooped her crying child out of her crib and the child instantly calmed down when she saw her mother. Alexandra raced out the gates of hell while the devil sent his guards after her. Jeth killed as many as he could. He begged her to take him with her. Jeth opened a portal allowing them to escape from the gates of hell. They reappeared in Los Angeles as the earth crumpled around them in the middle of earthquake that slowly sunk the state of California into the ocean. They found refuge in a local shelter and was saved by an Elysian man who teleported them to the safety of Elysian. Alexandra could feel the devil's rage for her imagining him screaming in anger and killing any demon that came into his path. She could almost see him rousing up his armies to breach the earth. Without the child, he could not walk upon the Earth. He was still trapped in hell.

Alexandra smiled as she looked down at her daughter. "He'll be here soon." The priest smiled and walked away.

In the dark shadows of his chambers, King Endymion gasped as he sensed Serenity's presence in his world. Dressed only in a long-sleeved tunic and dark slacks, he appeared in the church surprising the Elysians, humans, and Earthlings. Alexandra's eyes fluttered as she looked him. Her eyes cold and black as night. She finished nursing her child and adjusted her clothes.

Her name escaped his lips, "Serenity…" She would not respond as she smirked at him.

He tried her new name, "Alexandra."

Alexandra smiled wickedly at him as she responded, "Hello King Endymion." His eyes zoomed on the baby in her hands. It was the Anti-Messiah. She had the baby and still lived, but that child was the damnation of them all. He called upon his sword.

Jeth looked confused at the strange man. He asked, "Mother, who is this man?"

Alexandra said in an aloof voice, "No one of importance, my love." Endymion was shocked that she would say such a thing. She dismissed him as if he was nothing to her, like he had never been anything to her.

Alexandra rose with her daughter in her arm. Jeth stood next to her. Endymion looked shocked at the child that appeared to be around the age of twelve. Why was he calling her mother? What the hell was going on?

Alexandra took the boy's hand. He watched as a dark aura surrounded her and she vanished with her children. He disappeared following her aura.

"Jeth open a portal anywhere. We are no longer safe in this world."

Jeth nodded. "Yes, mother. " A dark portal appeared. Alexandra turned to Jeth. She knelt before the child as the powerful wind blew around them. He looked at her disappointed knowing what that look meant. He could not go with her. She tricked him into believing that he was going with her in order to get his sister and herself out of hell. Alexandra said sympathetically running her hands through his hair, "I'm sorry sweetheart. He can possess your body and you are his eyes and ears in this world. We would not have a chance if you came with us. Please forgive me."

Jeth never cried. He did not know how, but as he watched Alexandra at that moment about to leave him, he wanted to. But his expression remained serious. He nodded. "Good-bye, Alexandra." He faded away back to hell to deal with whatever punishment his father had for his perfidy. He'll probably kill him. Hopefully, that meant he'll finally meet his real mother.

Endymion reappeared to see only Alexandra and the infant child standing on the edge of a cliff. The boy was gone. Endymion covered his eyes with his forearm as the Sword of the Earth appeared in the other hand.

Endymion demanded, "Give me the child, Alexandra."

Alexandra said, "I will not give you my daughter."

Endymion said, "She is the Anti-Messiah. She will grow up and destroy us all."

Alexandra laughed. She lashed out, "Look at the Earth, Endymion. You have killed every living land creature on the Earth. You are the true evil!" They were no longer standing on the cliff. They were floating over the Earth. The air was fresh and the Earth was now completely covered with water. Beneath the oceans and seas of Earth laid the graves of humans, animals, trees, and fallen cities. He could now hear the sorrow of the ten thousand humans in his kingdom mourning the loss of their world and their loves ones who died horrific deaths down below on Earth because of him. He was the monster. His bare hands were forever stained with the blood of the dead humans.

He collapsed to his knees as his sword fell by his side. His eyes met hers. He watched as she leaped into the portal and disappeared. Like Katie, he could no longer sense her presence in his world. He found himself alone the cliff. He screamed so loud that the entire world heard his anguish as Elysian shook around him.
