The Earth Queen

Thanks for the great reviews for the previous chapter. Here's the next chapter. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Sailor Moon.

Alexandra sat on the bathroom floor with her back pressed against the wall. Her knees bent with her arms folded on top of her knees and her face buried in her arms. She could hear the banging on the door as Endymion begged her to unlock the door so that he could explain.

Endymion placed his hand on the handle. "Ser…" She no longer responded to that name. "Alexandra, please opened the door. I need to explain."

Alexandra said, "Our marriage was broken. It can't be fixed."

Endymion rested his head against the door. He looked at the floor. He had changed into black jeans. "I know."

Alexandra was surprised. She lifted her head and stared at the door.

Endymion said, "I fucked up. I wasn't perfect. You didn't love me because Serena died."

Alexandra remained silent.

Endymion said, "We both had a part in the demise of our marriage. Neither one of us was perfect. So let's not tried to fix what was broken. Let's make things right now."

He turned around then leaned his back against the door. He slid to the floor with one leg extended and the other propped up with his arm lying on top of his knee. He continued tilting his head back against the door, "Let's make things right. You're not Serena, Serenity. I loved her and she will always be the love of my life, but I fell in love with you. You were the woman that I needed in my life. You are the woman that I wanted Serena to grow up to be. I think that's why I cheated on Karen because she was a woman even though I was in love with a beautiful girl."

Alexandra scoffed. Endymion said, "I know what I did was wrong. But I can't change the past. I can only live in the present, in this moment. And in this moment, in the present, I still love you Serenity. I never stopped. I'll love you even if you never changed back into Serenity again. I'll love you as Alexandra. Any version of you is good enough for me."

Alexandra shook inside. She cried, "I'm a horrible person, Endymion. I'm unclean. I am no longer good enough for you."

Endymion smiled. "That's nonsense, you're perfect for me. My life is empty without you. I need you, Alex. I need you to help me save me from myself because I died when I thought you lost you." His eyes became cloudy.

Alexandra said, "I married the devil. I gave birth to the Anti-Messiah. I abandoned my children." A tear dropped to the ground. She huffed. She remembered she had children. She remembered Katie and Rini. In her mind, they were still ten and eight-years-old. She could hear their laughter in her mind. Another tear dropped. Her little girls were so happy and full of life. She had not thought of them in so long. She would not allow herself to. She wondered if they were as beautiful as she imagined them to be in her dream of being on the beach when the devil tricked her into sleeping with him.

Alexandra asked, "How are they?"

Endymion looked sad knowing she was referring to the children. "Rini hates me. Katie ran away. She hates me too. Look where she put me."

Alexandra laughed. Endymion smiled. She sounded like Serena again.

"And what about Derrick? I bet he is as handsome as his father."

Endymion laughed lightly. "He hates me too, but he's not bad on the eyes either. He's a good kid." He was surprised she asked about him. The last time they spoke as husband and wife, she did not seem too crazy about him.

Alexandra said, "I like him. It's hard not to. And Karen? Does she still hate me? I heard she left you."

Endymion said sadly, "Karen died a month after you left."

Alexandra's eyes grew larger and full of tears. He could hear her sobs. He was shocked. "You're crying for Karen?"

Alexandra smiled as tears rushed down her cheek. The blackness of her heart started to fade away. "She made you happy, Darien. She loved you in a way that I never could. She was perfect for you. I am so sorry that you lost her."

Endymion smiled. "Thanks Serena. That means a lot to me."

Alexandra sniffed. He smiled sensing Serena slowing returning to him.

Endymion looked sad as he thought about his children. "I've been a bad father. They all hate me."

Alexandra smiled. "That's not true. You were a bad husband too, and I still loved you."

"Ha ha very funny." Alexandra's eyes grew brighter. Her laughter was light and full of life. The black tar around her heart vaporized and her heart started beating again. She pressed her hand against her chest and listened to the beating of her heart. She had not heard it in eight years.

"Did you love him?"

"Who?"

"The devil, Dragon, Satan…"

Alexandra said, "When I was pregnant with Kimberly, that's what I named my daughter." His heart broke at the thought of her having a child with someone else even if it was the devil himself. "I was cast in this love spell where I was completely submissive to him. I loved him and worshipped him. Then once I had Kimberly, those feelings disappeared. No, I didn't love him. I'm only ever loved one man."

Endymion smiled. "He's a lucky man."

"You think?"

"I know. Believe it or not, you made me happy."

"Until the end when I turned into the spiteful wife."

Endymion nodded like she could actually see him. "Yup!"

She laughed again as her dark eyes turned blue.

Endymion asked, "Do you think we could ever fix us?"

Alexandra smiled. "I believe in us. I never gave up on you."

Endymion said, "And I you…"

Alexandra asked, "So what's the lesson that we have to learn?"

Endymion said, "I learnt to love you as Serenity."

Alexandra said, "I learnt to love you as Darien."

The door unlocked. The door flew open. Endymion's eyes widen as he fell backwards and his head collided with the concrete floor. His head ached. "Oww!" He closed his eyes tightly as he sat up at little bit nursing the small bump on his head. He heard Alexandra's laughter. He frowned at her thinking his pain was funny. He felt like a teenager around her instead of the nearly forty-year-old man he was. He looked up and it looked like his eyes were playing tricks on him. Alexandra sat on knees by him but she had Serenity's blue eyes now. She smiled at him like Serena. She embraced him supporting him up with her slender arms. He sat with his knees propped him up on the ground. His head was still throbbing. She leaned towards him and surprised him with a soft kiss on the lips. It wasn't sensual or sexual. It was innocent and pure. He became dizzy and his arm collapsed on ground pulling both on them down. She laughed as she landed on top of him.

Their eyes met and she asked, "Could you really accept me like this, Endymion?"

Endymion lifted his head. "I'll accept you in any way you give me." She smiled as him. Her lips pressed against his. He slowly closed his eyes as his body started to feel light again. His heart pounded quickly against his chest. His body came alive again as the hatred, the loneliness, and the pain disappeared. She softly broke away from his lips. His eyes popped opened and was amazed at what he saw. She was Serenity again. He became happy. He sat up as she recoiled back on her knees slightly scared for some reason. The only different now was that her hair was long, silver and shiny like starlight. Her eyes were mature and filled more with wisdom than innocence. Her beauty shined regal and divine like an angel sent from heaven. She was dressed in a one shoulder white toga. Her hair was styled in her traditional odango hairstyle. She looked like she did not belong anymore in his world. A part of him feared this was all a beautiful dream and Uno was going to take her away from him once again.

His lips parted and he said quietly, "You're beautiful."

She smiled at him. He crawled slowly on his knees over to her. He was afraid that he would scare her away if he moved too suddenly. She looked around the room frightened and confused like she did not know where she was. Her chest heaved as he came closer. She feared him as her heart pounded rapidly. His face was inches away from hers. He whispered softly, "Serenity…."

He slowly caressed her face. She gasped at the coolness of her touch. She looked at him. "Endymion, where am I?"

Endymion smiled. She was his Serenity. He kissed her again. Her eyes closed and she remembered who she was and everything that happened. When he broke away from her, she wept with joy and embraced him. "I missed you."

Endymion said holding her, "I missed you, my wife." She smiled at him and broke away in confusion .They were married for only a few months before they were killed.

Serenity placed her small slender hands on Endymion's face. "We have to fix what we have broken, my love."

Endymion said, "I know my love." She kissed him again. He asked running hands through her starlight hair, "Can you help me?"

Serenity nodded. They slowly stood up together. The doors opened and the windows unbolted. Serenity smiled. She said happily, "We can leave now." She strolled over to the door. She was surprised when he caught her hand and twirled her back into his arms. His arms encircled the small of her back. She looked confused. "We have to leave in case the doors lock again."

Endymion whispered into her ear, smiling down at her, "The world can wait. I cannot my love. I haven't made love you in ten years." Serenity blushed.

"No!"

"Yes!"

"Have this taught you nothing?"

"Yes, don't be a dumbass and ever let you go again." Serenity laughed lightly. Her laugh was subdued in her throat when Endymion brushed his lips lightly against her before claiming her lips in a violently possessive kiss taking away her reason as she moaned against his mouth cupping his face with her small hands.

He broke away from her and scooped her into arms. He carried her upstairs to the bedroom as their eyes never left one another. He kicked the door shut behind him. He gently lied her down on the bed. She soon found herself crying out in pleasure as he made slow passionate love to her. She held onto to him as he moved in and out of her body in long, smooth stokes. His dark head descended down to hers claiming her mouth in soft, passionate kisses. She rolled over on top of him. Endymion's hands spread out on the bed as she left a trail of wet kisses down his body. He groaned as he closed his eyes. She kissed down his toned stomach. His legs bent as she engulfed him inside of her mouth. He cried out her name in pleasure. He tried to pull her back up knowing she hated doing the act. She surprised him when she stopped him. He relaxed back enjoying the sound of her making love to him with her mouth. He threw his head back making ugly orgasmic expressions biting down his bottom lip. His body shuddered uncontrollably as he pumped every last drop of his seed down her throat. She lifted her head and crawled back to his mouth kissing and letting him taste himself in her mouth. His hands roamed all over her soft body as his arousal quickly rose again. He rolled her underneath him and plunged deeper inside of her feeling alive once again as she stared up at him with affectionate blue eyes. He smiled as he looked down at her. Her crescent moon appeared on her forehead as the symbol of the Earth appeared on his forehead. She lifted up her body as her long silver hair swept across the sheets. She grabbed the back of his head and pushed her down on his lips. She kissed him hard and savagely on the lips. He sat up grabbing her body with his and placing her on his lap. Their lips broke apart. She tilted her head as he tilted his. His eyes turned gold. Hers turned yellow. Their lips met in a soft kiss as he kissed her sensually on the mouth. A golden yellowish light surrounded them.

Katie and Rini gasped for air in their different locations in Ergon. Their crescent moons and the symbol of the Earth merged together appeared on their forehead. Their eyes flashed yellowish-gold as they felt their full Lunarian and Elysian powers returning to them.

Endymion continued to move inside of Serenity as a golden light surrounded them and gold wedding band materialized on their ring fingers with the inscriptions of "Endymion and Serenity forever" inscribed on their inside of their rings. Powerful orgasms ripped through their bodies as they climaxed together screaming out each other's names. A blinding golden-yellowish light erupted from their bodies shattering the snow globe to smithereens. Endymion and Serenity exhausted from their lovemaking collapsed together on the bed. A weak Endymion pulled Serenity into his arms. Serenity drifted off to sleep cuddled in a sleeping Endymion's arms holding her like he never wanted to let her go again.

Serenity awoke the following morning to Endymion kissing her. She smiled as they lied naked underneath the sheets. They were back in Elysian in the castle and in his bed chambers.

Serenity held out her hand admiring her wedding ring. She asked amused, "Are we really married, my love?"

Endymion laughed kissing her soft lips once again. "Yes, my love. You are my wife again and the Queen of the Earth."

Serenity smiled.

Serenity said, "You know what I want to do first."

Endymion said, "Visit the children?"

Serenity smiled nicely then became worried. "Oh my god, they probably hate me as much as they hate you."

"Hey!" He rolled over her and began to make love to his wife once more.

Katie smiled as she stood in a dark wooden area in the woods. Her parents were married and back together. They were happy and in love. Their bond gave her sister and her back their powers. Katie had no idea what her Elysians' powers were. Rini, Derrick, and their father along with their Uncle Edward possessed the power of the wind. Her Aunt Evelyn and her daughters possessed the power of water. Her Uncle Adam possessed the power of fire, while her Uncle Cain controlled the earth.

She glanced through the woods of a small cottage home. She saw a little boy about eight with dark hair and soulless black eyes. He was sitting at his desk in his room doing his homework. His parents were in the other room, the living room, arguing about something. The husband stepped outside in frustration and lit up a blunt. He smoked it and then exhaled. The wife looked upset. The little boy sat calmly at his desk doing his homework. Katie stayed an additional ten minutes. She watched as the little boy turned off the lights and went to be bed. The husband walked back into the house and turned off the lights in the living room. Katie disappeared.

She could hear her father calling her home to Midas. She no longer had to answer to him. He could no longer force her teleportation either, but she did it anyway. She appeared in her father's chambers and surprised to see her brother and sister, both older and equally beautiful.

They rushed over to her and embraced her. Rini held her tightly not wanting to let her go. "I missed you, Katie."

"I missed you too, Rini."

Derrick arched his eyebrow at his sister. "What's going on? We were teleported out of class for this." They were still dressed in their school uniforms. "I'm not complaining though."

Katie smiled. "You shall see."

Rini asked, "And why do we have both of our powers back? Father can restore our Elysian powers, but only…." The doors opened. Rini turned around and stepped next to her siblings as they looked in surprised.

There stood their parents holding hands. Derrick and Katie smiled. Rini looked stunned. "Mother, father…" She backed away from her mother.

Serenity ran over to her oldest daughter and embraced her as Rini cried on her mother's shoulders. Rini cried, "I missed you. I thought you didn't love us anymore."

Serenity said, "I have always loved you. I was only a little lost." She turned to Endymion and held his hand again and kissed the back of it. "But your father helped me find my way back again."

Endymion stared at Rini remorsefully. He remembered every time he yelled at her, hurt her, and punished her for no good reason at all. All she wanted was his time and attention. That's all they all wanted and he was scared to give them that. Before Endymion could opened his mouth, Rini spoke, "I forgive you father. You brought back mother and you are happy now."

Endymion held out his hand to his daughter. Rini slowly took it. He pulled her into his arms and held her tightly. "I love you Serenity. I have never stopped loving you. You're still my little girl." He smiled and kissed her forehead.

Serenity stepped over to Katie and Derrick. She smiled at Derrick. He smiled at her. Serenity smiled. "I'm sorry that I did not get to know you as well as I should have. But the times we shared together were memorable and your mother was a good woman. I liked her."

Derrick smiled. "Thank you, Serenity."

Serenity smiled. "Your mother was a mother to my daughters when she did not have to be. She tucked them in at night and made sure they knew they were loved and wanted every day. I know I can never replace her. A mother is irreplaceable, but I can be a mother figure to you if you want me too."

He kissed her cheek. "Thank you, your majesty." He bowed before her. Serenity smiled.

Serenity stepped in front of Katie. She smiled as she looked at Katie so happy and full of life. She stared at her sternly. Katie smiled faltered at the sharpness of her mother's words. "You ran away from home. You disobeyed your father. You left this kingdom disarrayed all in pursuit of following your dreams of becoming a powerful warrior like me."

Katie bowed her head and said, "I'm-"

Serenity touched Katie's cheeks. "Well done, my daughter. I heard great things about you. Your name runs loudly through the galaxies. You have become a great warrior. I am very proud of you." Katie smiled.

She embraced her mother. "Thank you mother. Your words mean a lot to me."

Endymion strolled over to his son. He said remorsefully, "I am sorry, Derrick that I have been a horrible father to you. I am not going to stand before you and profess my love for you or tell you that I am going to quit drinking. I said it so many times and contradicted myself that I know you and Rini no longer believe in me. But I will prove myself to you." He turned to Rini grabbing her hand. "Both of you." Rini smiled.

Derrick nodded. "Yes father."

Endymion made eye contact with Katie. Before her father could utter a word, Katie said, "You're welcome." Endymion smiled. She was no longer his little girl that needed her daddy's protection or love. She was a strong, confident, and beautiful young woman. He feared his time was short with her as much as it was with Serenity.

Serenity smiled at them all happy to once again be with her beautiful family.

Over the next few days, the Elysian rejoice in their new queen. They were some reservations since she was married to the devil. Some of the members of Parliament questioned the legality of their marriage. Endymion informed them that their marriage was blessed by Uno and he was married to Serenity long before he became Darien Shields or the devil possessed her. In the eyes of the Uno and the dead kings of the Earth, Endymion and Serenity's union was deemed legit since they had both repossessed the bodies of their present selves. When the Elysians saw how happy the queen made their king, they loved her. She greeted every Elysian regardless of their station and treated them like they were her equals. She listened to their complaints and worries and made her husband aware of them. There was no bureaucracy about her, and the king respected his wife's opinions and suggestions as equally as he respected those of his advisors, which angered his advisors. She attended meetings with Parliament sitting on a throne equal in size to her husband's.

Serenity sat at her vanity mirror. Endymion sat up in bed shirtless with his bare back pressed against the headboard and happily watched his lovely wife prepare for bed. She smiled at him through the mirror. She said as she moisturized her arms, "What are you so happy about?"

Endymion smiled. "You." He had no desire for a drink. He could not anymore. Serenity passed an official decree ridding the palace of all alcoholic beverages. Not even a wine cooler was allowed and Henry was to be with him at all times when he is away on business trips. He was under strict order to make sure that Endymion did not drink. Endymion argued with her, embarrassed that she would make it be known that he had a drinking problem, even though everyone in the kingdom already knew. He told her that he was still king. She smiled at him and said, "Sure you are, my love."

He had no desire to be with another woman. Serenity threatened to castrate him if he cheated on her again. He laughed at her until he realized that she was not joking. He gulped.

Lady Luckington came to visit unexpectedly as she always did in the past to find out that she was banned from seeing the king. When she asked outraged by whose orders, the maid Rose happily informed her by the order of the queen.

When Lady Luckington started a ruckus, Queen Serenity ordered her to her chambers. Lady Luckington walked in. Serenity stood dressed in a white cashmere blouse and a matching form fitting knee-length skirt and matching heels showing off her long, shapely legs. Her long silver hair was tied up in a loose bun. Her ears, neck and wrists were adorned with diamonds her husband spoiled her with like back in the days when they were first married. Her back was to Lady Luckington when Lady Luckington came into her chambers.

Rose curtsied and announced, "Your majesty, Lady Luckington."

Serenity turned her head to Rose and smiled. "Thank you, Rose." Rose blushed and left out of the room. Serenity made it a point to know every member of their staff and household.

Serenity turned to Lady Luckington looking unpleased with her dressed in a red contour dress and matching high heels. She frowned as glanced at the wedding ring that Serenity wore proudly on her finger.

Serenity looked at Lady Luckington giving her the once over. This was her husband's lover. Rose, her new lady's maid informed her that Lady Luckington was the king's mistress for many years and was as scandalous as her husband Lord Luckington. Lady Luckington had her eye on becoming queen, even though it was completely unrealistic since she was already married and was the king's cousin. Her brother-in-law Cain had passed a law forbidding the royal Elysians for intermingling. Yet, Lady Luckington had control over the king to the point where the king gave her husband, Lord Luckington ruled over one of the six counties of Ergon.

Lady Luckington did not bow to Serenity, since she did not acknowledged her as her queen. Serenity simply smiled. Serenity clasped her hands together behind her back and smiled at her. "I won't keep you here long, Lady Luckington. I only sent you into my chambers to inform you that my husband will no longer need your services anymore."

Lady Luckington was outraged as Serenity coolly spoke to her like she was some common slut not a daughter of a duke or member of the royal family.

Serenity said, "You are banned from my husband's chambers."

Lady Luckington smirked. "You worried you can't satisfy him."

Serenity shrugged. "I have no problems in that area as you so elegantly put it. But I am not going to pretend that I completely trust my husband since he is a male whore and suffers from a sex addiction as bad as his alcoholism. You're as much temptation as a glass of whiskey to him. He doesn't need it, but he cannot control himself around it. So I am asking you nicely to stay away from my husband."

Lady Luckington asked unfazed, "And if I do not?"

Serenity said coolly, "Then I shall strip you and your husband of your title, wealth, land, and powers. If you continued, I will exile you from Elysian forever."

"You have no power, Serenity. Endymion will not allow it."

"I am his queen. I have control over my husband. His will is mine. Tempt me Lady Luckington and it will be your demise." Lady Luckington frowned storming out of the queen's chamber. The little queen had no idea who she was playing with.

"Father, I am not staying."

"What?" Endymion stood in study at his desk and strolled around to his daughter. Katie was dressed down in sweater and jeans. Her hair was brushed back into a ponytail and her face scrubbed fresh and clean making her look like the fifteen-year-old she was. He circled her.

Endymion was baffled. She just arrived and now she was telling him that she was not staying.

"What do you mean, Katherine?" When she did not respond, he lashed out, "I am your king answer me."

Katie quickly retorted. "You are my father, but you are not my king. I answered to a different king. He sent me here on a mission to retrieve something for him. Once I do that, I am to return back home." She was home, why was she referring to alternate universe where she came from home?

Endymion said, "What are you talking about? What are you here to retrieve?"

Katie said, "I cannot discuss the details. But I am a guardian now. I made an eternal bond of loyalty to King Matthew. I am in his service until the day I die."

Endymion said, "Can't it be broken?" He stopped standing directly in front of her.

Katie stared directly into her father's eyes and shook her head. "No, and I don't want it to. I am happy father. I love my family, but I was never happy here. I felt like I was drowning here."

"I have given you back your powers. What more could you want?"

Katie looked at her father in disbelief. She told him that she was happy and still he wanted to force her to do something that she did not want to. He would never change. "Nothing!"

Endymion declared firmly, "I will not let you leave. Whatever contract you have made with those people, I will break it."

Katie hated how her father disliked the Black Moon Family since they were supposed to be evil. She hated how he saw everything as black and white except himself. "Those people treated me like family. Prince Malcolm loved me like a daughter. They gave me the love that you denied me. I am happy. I am doing what I love." She cried out frustrated at her father, "Why can't you be happy for me?"

Endymion sighed. "Why can't you be happy here?"

Katie said, "Because I'll only be doing it for you and not me."

Endymion grew curious. He remembered Prince Malcolm informing him that they were alone in this fight against the devil after Endymion rejected their offer of assistance. So why did Matthew send Katie back if he was not going to help them? He could have sent anyone to come back to retrieve the package? Why Katie?

Katie stared at her father hoping that he would understand her wishes. He was treating her like she was a kid who did not know what she was talking about.

Endymion asked, "Why did King Matthew send you and not someone else?"

"Because he figured that I was the only one that you will not kill for coming through the portal. Plus, I wanted to. I wanted to see you guys again. I wasn't going to interfere, but when I saw how miserable everyone was. How bad things had become. I felt I had to do something."

Endymion lifted up her chin with his finger. "You know I hate letting you go."

Katie smiled. "Yes, I am aware. I was Safety Katie as a kid thanks to you." Endymion laughed. He was the overprotective and strict father to his children.

"And how long will you be here?"

"I can leave when I retrieve the package, but I'll stay and help you fight this battle against the devil."

Endymion nodded. "Okay." He embraced her and kissed the top of her hair holding her tightly.

Katie cried out, "Daddy, you're smothering me."

He loosened his embrace. "Sorry."

Katie laughed. "I love you too, daddy."

Later on that night, Serenity rolled exhausted off of husband. They made love every night since their marriage. Every night, he was completely with her the entire way. His thoughts were elsewhere tonight. She breathed calmly as she cuddled up next to him. Had he grown tired of her already?

Serenity asked, "Baby, what's wrong?"

He pressed his cheek against her head. "It's Katie. She's only here for a mission and to help us in our battle, but then she is leaving. I thought I had my family back together again."

Serenity laughed lightly, "She's happy, Endymion. She left the protection of her father's confinement and created a life of her own that makes her happy. That's what children do. We raised them to be productive adults and then they grow up and leave to find their own place in the world like we did. You should be proud of her."

"Why do they have to grow up? Why can't they stay children forever?"

"It's Uno's will. We only have a short time in this world, and we have to make the most of the time we have it while we still have it. In five months, Rini and Derrick are going to graduate from high school." She smiled. "I'm afraid you're stuck with me, my love."

Endymion smiled. "That's not so bad." He grinned looking down at her. "We should make another baby."

Serenity laughed. She felt like she was reliving Dragon's illusion of them being on the beach and Darien asking her to make a baby and she agreed. But unlike that fantasy, she could not grant his wish. She smiled sadly. "I can't give you another child, Endymion."

Endymion lifted his head. He lifted up her chin with his finger and asked curiously, "Why not? You're only thirty-five. I'm thirty-nine. You're still young."

Serenity said slightly ashamed, "I'm barren. Carrying Kimberly damaged my body internally so much that I no longer have the ability to carry a child. Even if it was possible for me to bear another child, I'll die before the child was born." She started at him. Her eyes shook vulnerable and raw with emotion. "Am I'm less desirable to you, my king?" His lips touched hers softly.

He whispered against her lips. "No! You only become more desirable every day." He rolled on top of her and made love to her once again. This time he was completely focus on her.

Endymion worked in his office on the Capitol dressed in a navy blue business suit with a matching silk tie. He received a call from Lady Luckington that she was highly upset with his wife for her blatant disrespect. He received a knock on the door.

Endymion said looking up from his paperwork, "Come in."

It was his personal assistant Martin, a smart nice-looking young lad of Puerto Rican descent. He said with a hint of disgust, "Your majesty, Lady Luckington is here to speak with you."

Endymion said, "Let her in." Camryn rushed in. Martin rolled his eyes hoping that the king will not screw his way out of his marriage. Martin liked Serenity, and they got along well. She learnt more about Martin in one day than the king did in the five years that Martin had worked for him. He was happily married with children.

Camryn rushed in wearing a tight black dress showing off her womanly features and matching heels that made her behind pop out. She was a beautiful woman in her early thirties and she looked highly upset.

Endymion asked worried, "What is it, Camryn?" He stood up and rushed over to her. He did not love her, but he considered her a friend that had comfort him many lonely nights.

She looked shaken up. Her eyes hurt and upset. "Your wife is horrible. She banned me from seeing you. She threatened to take away my husband's livelihood and my title if I did not leave you alone."

Endymion assured her, "She can't do that."

Camryn said her eyes starting with tears, "I know. She threatened to hurt me if I continue to see you." She looked into his eyes. Endymion stared into her eyes filled with love for him. She stepped closer to him placing her hands on his chest and said, "I love you, Endymion." She closed her eyes and lifted her head to receive his kiss. When she felt nothing, she opened her eyes and looked into Endymion's regretful eyes.

Camryn looked surprise. He never rejected her before. He said apologetically, "I can't. I love her. I waited too damn long to have her again to end what we have over you. I don't love you, Camryn. I never have. You're great in bed and can work wonders with that mouth of yours, but I am in love with my wife and I will not let anyone not even myself destroy my second chance with her." He backed away from her. Camryn frowned heatedly as Endymion strolled over to the door and opened it. He stepped to the side and said, "Good-bye, Lady Luckington. I will talk to my wife about her behavior towards you."

Camryn turned on her high heels and stared at him in total disbelief. "That's it. You're dismissing me like a naughty schoolgirl after all I have been through with you for eight years. My reputation is ruined. People whispered cruel things about me behind my back. Your daughter called me a whore, and that's it."

Endymion's concerned face turned angry. He gave her a look that frightened her. "How did you expect this to end, Camryn? We're related. You're married. You cannot be queen even if I wanted you in that way. You satisfied your king quite well, and I rewarded you and your husband for sharing his wife with titles and even your own county to rule over. We're even. Now, leave with your pride still intact before I make my wife's threat a reality and strip you and your husband of your title, wealth, and powers." Camryn frowned before storming out of the office and passed an amused Martin. Martin chuckled softly to himself finally proud of his king for making a good choice and kicking the obnoxious woman to the curb for good.

Later on that evening, Endymion was dressed in a black tuxedo in their bedroom. Serena was dressed in a floor length strapless royal blue evening gown. Her silver hair was up in a French twist with curly tendrils dangling on the side of her face. She was standing in front of the floor mirror tilting her head to put on the diamond earrings he brought her. He stood in the doorway smiling as he watched her get ready. He found himself enjoying the simplest moments with her like watching her sleep, the way she became engrossed in reading a novel, the sound of her laughter, the way she brushed her teeth, and way she hummed one of her favorite songs horribly off key when she was happy or getting ready to go somewhere. She smiled when he stood behind her and helped her placed the diamond necklace around her neck. He clasped it together then leaned forward and kissed her sweet spot on her neck as she moaned in delight. He leaned over and rested his head on his shoulder and wrapped his strong arms tightly around her small waist. They watched each other through the mirror completely happy.

He said breaking the moment, "I spoke to Lady Luckington today. She came into my office today." Serenity frowned and ripped herself out of his arms stalked over to her vanity desk to grab her clutch bag.

Endymion turned to her and said, "Serenity, you cannot threaten a member of the royal family. They can arrest you for that Serenity."

Serenity asked spitefully as she snapped her clutch shut, "How long is it before you bed her again, Endymion? Could you tell me now so I don't have to act so shocked when it happens?" She turned to him leaning against her vanity desk with her clutch bag in one hand.

Endymion sighed feeling like crap for bringing up Camryn but he had to. "I don't want Camryn. Everything I want is right here in this room." He walked towards her. "I desire no woman but you. I need your love like I need water and air to survive. "He stood in front of her.

Serenity said her eyes glistened with tears as her eyes looked up at him equally upset ones. "I can't do this anymore, Endymion. This is your last chance with me. If you hurt me this time, it's over for good. I won't come back this time."

He knew she was serious. She could disappear from his life easily and he'll never be able to find her again. The children were practically adults now. Katie was returning to her dimension once they finished with this new threat. She had nothing to keep her in this world. He'll be all alone again, and the loneliness scared him as much as the thought of losing Serenity.

Tears rushed down her cheeks. "Please let me know when."

Endymion lifted up her chin with his finger until she stared directly into his eyes. "Never. I won't screw up this time. Please don't leave me. I don't want to live in this world without you. I'll die if you leave me again."

Serenity saw that he was serious. He would take his own life or die from a broken heart. He was crying too, completely vulnerable. Serenity gently touched the side of his face. She wept more when she saw how miserable he had been for the last ten years of his life without her. He was completely unhappy and many times contemplated killing himself. It was his children that stopped him from pulling the trigger. He loved them dearly, but he no longer knew how to express it. He did not know how to show his love for them except by giving them things out of guilt. He saw Karen in Derrick and he saw Serena in Rini and Katie. At that moment, Serenity knew she would never leave him even if it was the end of her. She rather died too than live in a world without him. She hated her weakness but he was her soulmate and she was tired of running away from her destiny standing right in front of her.

She lifted her head and kissed his lips softly. She placed a hand on the back of his head and whispered in his ear, "Please don't hurt me too badly this time. I don't think I can take it this time." Endymion's heart broke a little. She was giving him permission to cheat on her discreetly, even she did not believe in his ability to be faithful. He cried as he embraced her tightly lifting her away from the vanity mirror. She remained silent without protest as he quietly undressed them then scooped her into his arms and carried her across the room to the bed. He made passionate love to her as tears fell mixed with wet kisses. Serenity comforted him until he was exhausted and fell asleep on top of her. They were supposed to meet up with their friends that night in Starlight City to celebrate Mina and Cain's engagement, but they never made it.

She smiled happily when Endymion surprised her with a ball thrown in her honor at the castle and she saw all of her friends and their children. They caught her up on everything she had missed. She was excited to see that Lita was pregnant once again with her sixth child. She embraced Andrew, who was equally pleased to see her.

In the front of the ballroom, Serenity sat on a golden throne room dressed in a blue black and white gown with her hair style in a French twist and her golden earrings dangling and shiny. Her husband sat next to her in a black tuxedo. He grabbed her gloved hand and brought it to his lips as they looked at their friends and guests dancing.

Prince Derrick danced with a pretty girl from Starlight City. Princess Katherine danced with a handsome man who was member of the Royal Regiment. Princess Serenity stood against the wall looking slightly depressed. She was equally as beautiful as her sister Katherine, but Queen Serenity sensed unhappiness in her daughter.

"I'm worried about Rini." Serenity said with a worried frown on her face to her husband.

Endymion glanced around the room in search of their eldest daughter. His other children were happy but Rini still looked depressed. Endymion said, "What does she have to be sad about? She's a princess of the Earth and Moon. She has her powers and her parents back together. We love her. What more could she want?"

"Having everything does not make a person happy. I think we should talk to her after the ball is over with." Endymion nodded.

He smiled at Serenity. He signaled the orchestra to change the music. The conductor motioned for the orchestra to halt and they changed the tune. Serenity smiled when she listened to the melody. It was Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years."

Endymion held out his hand. "May I have this dance, my queen?"

Serenity nodded. "Yes, your majesty."

They rose and the crowd parted as he led his wife to the center of the dance floor. The crowd smiled and awed as they waltzed effortlessly to the music.

As the song came to an end, Endymion twirled Serenity away from him. She curtsied to her king. He bowed to his queen. He pulled up into her arms and kissed her passionately and very inappropriately in front of their guests to Lord Davenport's repugnance. Everyone applauded them. Their children laughed. Rini stood in the corner smiling. Her family was back together. Her parents were happy together once again after nearly a decade apart. Everything was perfect, so why wasn't she happy?

Serenity saw Lita and Raye sitting in the corner. She smiled wanting to go over and chat with them. She moved in that direction only to find a hand grabbing her wrist. She turned to her husband missing the horrified looks on her friends' faces before they masked them with happiness. He said firmly, "I am not going to cheat on you, Serenity. You don't need to give me permission to be with other women. You're all I need and want." Serenity smiled brightly at him and leaned over a kissed his cheek. She was putting on a show to make the prying eyes watching them think they were the happy couple. She gently pulled out her hand, which he easily let go of and walked away. He groaned in frustration. She still did not believe him. She still did not trust him.

Lady Luckington stood uninterested next to her husband as he conversed lively with other guests about politics. She watched the small scene disgusted at the happiness of the queen and king. She hated this Serenity and how everyone loved her including Endymion. Her eyes fumed and she was determined to break up this happy union. She worked too damn hard to get Endymion under her thumb. She deserved the title of queen not the devil's whore. It's like everyone forgot how promiscuous the new queen was and how it was because of her, their world was on the verge of hell.

Rini strolled outside into the gardens in the cool winter air. She watched the fireworks display in the sky. Her father had a fireworks display every night since her mother returned to them. She saw a few people standing outside watching the display with awe. Lovers kissed on benches and in dark corners. She strolled deeply into the rose garden maze away from the gaiety and laughter coming from the ball going on inside.

Derrick sipped his punch at the buffet table. His stepmother banned alcohol from all functions for the king and signed his father up for Alcohol Anonymous meetings against the king displeasure. Derrick found it quite amusing since everyone already knew that his father was raging alcoholic. The only one in denial about it was the king himself. He liked Serenity. She brought his father back to life and helped him face his demons.

He watched his sister Katherine flirt shamelessly with a group of guys in the corner, all begging for a chance to dance with her or to go out with her. Katherine had a confidence and boldness in her that Rini no longer had. When Rini became a teenager, she changed and sunk into a deep depression that she never recovered from. Even with her parents back together, he could see past her happy façade that she was clearly miserable and lonely. He did not understand when they had a big family and so many people that loved them. He watched as she snuck out of the ball after watching their parents danced.

Serenity approached Derrick with a worried look on her face. She asked, "Have you seen Rini?"

Derrick said easing Serenity's worries, "Yeah, she went outside in the garden."

"I'm worried about her."

"Me too."

Serenity asked seeing that he understood her worry, "How long has she been like this?"

Derrick said, "Since she was thirteen. She sunk into a depression and it's only been getting worse. She's tried to harm herself."

"Oh my gosh, did she…."

Derrick nodded. Serenity covered her mouth in shock. "I saved her. "

Serenity asked, "And what did Endymion do?"

Derrick said scowling at how indifferent his father was, "He didn't care. He never even called to check on her. He doesn't give a damn about us, honestly." Derrick froze for a second not believing he let that last sentence slip from his lips. He could see the surprised look in his stepmother's face. Serenity stared at her stepson seeing his anger about his father's lack of interest in their children's affairs. She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.

She promised, "I'm sorry, Derrick. I'll do my best to make things right."

Derrick smiled. He glanced at his father in small gathering chatting with some of the members of Parliament. "Just make him happy." Serenity smiled then walked away to search of Rini. Both of them missed when someone sneakily sipped a powdery substance in the king's drink. Endymion sipped his drink as his nodded at the politician talking to him.

Derrick glanced across the room and smiled when he spotted Lady Sarah Kino from the House of Furuhata. She looked beautiful with her long wavy brown hair hanging loosely down her back and sparkling green eyes that matched the color of her satin evening gown. She was wearing a large red rose pinned up in her hair. She was dancing with her boyfriend. He was some jock from her high school that was strong and built like a running back with pure muscle. She laughed lightly as she danced with him. He could not dance with his two left feet. He repeatedly apologized for stepping on her toes as she reassured him that it was fine. They were two-stepping while everyone was dancing circles around them. But Sarah did not care. She was completely happy and in bliss as they stared at one another like the two love-struck teens they were.

Derrick sipped the rest of his punch before tossing it in the trash bin near the table. He swaggered over there with the confidence that the Shields men shared. He approached them on the middle of the dance floor and the young couple bowed before their prince.

Sarah looked shocked to see him. She said surprise, "Hello, your majesty." Derrick watched her boyfriend placed a protective grip on her waist clearing indicating to Derrick and any other man in the ballroom that Sarah was his woman. She looked up at him happily and said, "Your majesty, this is boyfriend Rein Takashita. Rein, this is my childhood friend Derrick Shields, crowned prince of Elysian." Their eyes met quickly as his lip twitched. She intentionally introduced her boyfriend first indirectly to dis him.

"It's a pleasure to meet your majesty." Rein held out his hand. Derrick shook it reluctantly. He had a strong grip. He smiled at Sarah and said with a small smile, "You didn't tell me that you were cool with the prince."

Sarah smiled brightly at him. "I guess it slipped my mind." Their lips met in a soft kiss. Derrick diverted his eyes not wanting to see them so intimate.

When they broke apart, Derrick asked trying to act cool with it, "Sarah, I was wondering if we could dance?"

Sarah laughed at him and shook her head. "I have to decline, Prince Derrick." She grinned mischievously at her boyfriend. "Rein here is not the best dancer and my feet cannot handle another dance."

Rein laughed at her. "I told you I could not dance. You wanted your princess moment." Derrick smiled sadly as he watched them quarreled back and forth like a happy couple as they laughed at one another. It was hard to watch her with someone else that she was clearing in love with. Rein pulled her into a lover's embrace and pressed a hard kiss on her forehead telling her that he was ready to go.

Sarah smiled in content and turned to Derrick. "It was nice seeing you again and Happy Belated Birthday!" She gently touched his arm before walking off arm in arm with her boyfriend. Derrick looked at them upset and walked off. She was happy with another guy.

Rini jumped when she heard a weird sound quickly turning around. She saw nothing. She assumed it was the wind. A twig snapped behind her. She turned back around and jumped in surprise when she saw a tall, dark, and handsome stranger dressed sharply in a tailored tuxedo standing before her. He had dirty blonde hair and dark chocolate brown eyes. His skin was tan and looked exotic. Something looked dangerous about him that alarmed her a little bit. He simply stared at her like she reminded him of someone else. His movements all seemed robotic. He tilted his head sideways like she baffled him. Her heart pounded quickly and she felt strange inside. She never felt this way about a guy before. She liked guys at her school, but they were not into her. The ones that did feared her father since everyone thought he was nutcase.

In one large step, the stranger closed the gap between them. Rini tilted her head upwards, gazing deeply into the chocolate eyes of the stranger. His hands shakily lifted up from his side and gently stroked her soft, rosy cheeks. Rini's lips parted completely in awe of the strange man. He looked down at her like she was equally odd to him. She could see the inner turmoil behind his brown eyes as he fought some inner desire. His head descended towards hers as Rini's eyes widen in shock when she found his lips pressing against hers in an innocent kiss. A strange sensation came over her as she panicked. She pushed him roughly away from her. He stumbled backwards for a second before regaining his balance. She touched her lips that still tingled. He had stolen her first kiss.

She yelled out angrily, "What is wrong with you?"

He tilted his head like what she was saying sounded foreign to him. He was beginning to freak her out. He stepped towards her.

She backed away. He stopped moving. She said, "Tell me who you are before I call my father's guards to arrest you."

He said, "My name is Jeth."

"Are you human? Are you a reborn?" She thought her father killed all of the reborns. She did not see a speck of red in his eyes. He looked human, but he did not act it.

He asked, "Are you Serenity?"

Rini stood in a fighting pose. "I am Princess Serenity of the Earth, daughter of King Endymion and Queen Serenity. Who are you?"

He grinned and laughed. "I am Prince Jeth, son of the devil. "

Rini grew wide as she stepped back. He stepped towards her. His foot touched the ground and vines grew widely blocking the exits of the garden around her. She tried to run out of the maze but the thick vine wall blocked her in. She tried to leap out but a wall grew over them trapping them inside. She tried to teleport, but something was stopping her. She yelled, "Father! Mother!" hoping they will hear her telepathically or sensed that she was in danger.

Jeth said, "They cannot hear you, princess. You're on your own. Mommy and daddy can't save you this time."

Rini stared at him angrily. "Fine. I can defeat you on my own."

Jeth laughed. "I'll like to see you try." Rini raced towards him. He disappeared. She vanished. He reappeared not sensing her. His was shocked when she kneed him in the stomach causing him to bow over. She leaped away from him. He frowned. He held out his hands as a powerful blast of dark energy erupted from his hands. Rini leaped out of the way and landed in a knelt position narrowly avoiding the blast. She held out her hand and yelled, "Moon Cosmic Power!" A yellow light blasted from her hand and stuck him tossing him backwards against the wall. Rini saw that his blast caused an opening in the wall. She ran through it. He shook the debris off him. He frowned. He had underestimated the little princess. He disappeared.

Dizziness struck Endymion as he started seeing double and his head began to pound. He excused himself from the group and snuck out of the ballroom through one of his private hallways. He was unaware that someone was watching him. He pressed his hands against the wall feeling unstable and shaky. All the servants were assisting in the ballroom and constantly in and out of the kitchen bringing out snacks for the guests. His body was too tired to walk the entire way. He would collapse before he made it to his room. He vanished then reappeared on his bed lying flat on his back and slipped into unconsciousness. Someone snuck into the king's chambers and into his bedroom and stared at the king unconscious on his bed.

Serenity raced into the garden sensing her daughter was in trouble. She stopped in her tracks when she looked up in the sky and saw her daughter engaging in hand to hand combat with Jeth in human form. She smiled when she realized that Rini was getting the better of him especially when she kicked him on the side of his face knocking him backwards. Rini used her wind attack and hurled it towards him. Jeth dodged the attack as a large explosion occurred behind him. He frowned at her as a large blast of dark energy came from his hands as Rini countered his attack with a large golden blast of energy erupted for her hands. Jeth's attack overpowered Rini's and sent Rini screaming as she crashed to the ground. Serenity gasped. Jeth glanced down and saw her. Serenity looked up at him as their eyes met and she could feel his hatred for her for abandoning him all those years ago. He glanced down at the girl struggling to get up before collapsing to the ground in defeat. Her face covered with smoke. Her dress tattered and ruined. He disappeared and Serenity sensed he was gone. Serenity rushed over to her daughter healing her wounds.

Endymion weakly opened his eyes. Everything was still blurry. His body was exhausted and paralyzed. He looked up and saw that he was naked in bed and a woman was on top of him naked riding him in pleasure. He saw that it was Camryn and not Serenity. He groaned weakly turning his head, "Stop Camryn. You're not Serenity."

She continued to ride him hard and faster. Her hair was loose and moving widely around her. Her eyes turned golden. She bent over and stared at him. She said, "Give me your heir, Endymion. Impregnate me with your child."

Endymion shook his head weakly. Camryn bent down and grabbed his jaw with her hand forcing him to turn his head to hers. He stared at Camryn's golden eyes triggering his to turn golden.

Camryn said again, "Give me your child, Endymion." Endymion felt as if something else was taken over his body. He did as she asked as he pounded inside of her. Camryn enjoyed having the king inside her again. A golden aura surrounded Camryn and the king.

Serenity held Rini in her arms as she started to come to. Rini's eyes fluttered open. She looked her mother and asked, "Where's the bad guy?"

Serenity smiled down at her daughter and said, "He's gone."

Rini sat up using an arm to support her and her other to nurse her still throb headache. "Did I lose?"

Serenity chuckled. "No surprisingly you fought quite well."

Rini looked at her mother surprised not believing her. Serenity said, "I was going to step in, but I watched you. You kicked evil ass today. He picked the wrong princess to mess with."

Rini blushed shocked that her mother would use such words. "Mom!" Serenity laughed as she held Rini tightly in her arms and kissed her hair. Rini's arm collapsed and Serenity landed on top of Rini as they both fell. Serenity rolled over on her back next to her daughter. Serenity and Rini burst into laughter.

Endymion turned his head sideways completely helpless as Camryn bounced herself up and down on him taking all of him inside of her. A powerful energy travelled through his body towards his groin as he felt himself about to erupt. Camryn went faster arousing him more. He erupted deep inside of her planting his seed inside her womb. He passed out. Camryn bent over to kiss her king. She turned around with a triumph glint in her eyes to see Serenity standing there unsurprised. Endymion had disappointed her so many times that she no longer cried over him and it did not shock her when he broke his promises. She expected him to fail. Camryn proudly crawled off of Endymion flaunting her naked body. Their mixed juices ran down her leg. Serenity glanced at her husband then Camryn.

Camryn addressed her in a smug tone. Serenity quietly turned to Camryn. "You were right, Serenity. He is addicted to sex. You were not even married for a good week before he summoned me to his chambers to really satisfy him. I am carrying the king's child now. Your services and your bastards are no longer needed Serenity. By tomorrow, your marriage will be annulled and I will take your place as the rightful queen of Elysian not the devil's whore." She spat at Serenity with disgust and gathered her clothes and walked away from her. Serenity stood there emotionless as a dagger appeared in her hand.
