The Crystal Key

A/N: Hello everyone! Thanks for the wonderful reviews for the previous chapter. Kudos to everyone who guessed correctly about Serenity killing Lady Luckington and Katie knowing more about what was going on. Now, it's officially time for everything to go bananas. Derrick the Enforcer has been reborn and taken possession of our beloved Derrick's body. He dethroned his father. He crowned himself king, controls the unlimited power of the golden crystal, and wants his father and stepmother dead. He fired his Uncle Cain as his right hand man. Katie stared at him until her father's eyes met hers. Serenity asked as they turned to her. "Where's does Kimberly fall in?"

Katie looked confused. Serenity said, "My daughter with the devil, the so-called Anti-Messiah."

A look of clarity came across Katie's face. "Oh, I completely forgot about her. Yes, she's your daughter and a descendant of the White Moon Queen too, but she's not the Anti-Messiah." Everyone turned to Katie. The room became tense as everyone stared at her.

Darien asked slowly, "Who is it, then?"

Katie stared at him. "Derrick is." The voice did not belong to Katie. Everyone turned to the front door to see a very pregnant Raye and her daughters standing in the doorway. Everyone stared at her as she only looked at Darien. "Derrick is the Anti-Messiah."

Darien exclaimed in disbelief, "What!"

Raye looked at her daughters, Raven and Kayla. She smiled. "Girls, why don't you go upstairs and play with Zayden and the others."

Raven said, "Okay momma." Raven and Kayla walked up the stairs to go play with the others.

When they were out of sight, Raye said again, "Derrick is the Anti-Messiah. The Followers of Derrick and the Followers of Dragon are one in the same. Some civilizations actually used Derrick as another name for Dragon. There's a photo painted a thousand years ago of Derrick embracing the devil Dragon. This pact was made a thousand years ago."

Darien could not believe what he was hearing. Derrick was a good kid. This could not be real. He glanced up at Katie, who nodded sadly confirming what Raye was saying.

Serenity stood up and rubbed Darien's back. She led him back to the sofa since he looked like he was about to collapse. She sat down next to him stroking his back and pressing her head against his as he bent over and buried his hands in his face.

Andrew asked, "How is that possible? Darien's not evil." Well technically, Andrew thought to himself. "I thought the devil had to impregnate a descendant of Uno in order for the Anti-Messiah to be created." Josh stood up and helped Raye sit down on the sofa. He sat on the arm on the sofa between Raye and his dad.

Katie said, "No. That is what Dragon and the Elysians wanted you to believe until Derrick came of age and was recognized by the golden crystal as the next Earth King. In actuality, it was prophesied a long time ago that the Earth King would be reborn in this century as a descendant of Prince Derrick and fathered the Anti-Messiah through a mortal woman. The birth mother could not be mom because Sailor Moon is the Messiah, which was discovered when she battled Pharaoh 90. Therefore, the Elysians picked Karen because she was the only woman father showed interest in besides mother." Serenity stiffened as Darien tossed her a reassuring glance and grabbed her hand causing her to relax. "However, what Dragon did not tell the Elysians and what the Elysians never realized is that Derrick the Enforcer made a pact with the devil to destroy everyone who tried to harm his family. That included the humans and the Elysians. The humans have been eradicated and now that leaves the Elysians. When the gates of the other worlds open, Elysian will fall into the Earth and will be destroyed along with the Earth."

Josh looked confused. "But wouldn't that kill all the Elysians and himself?"

Katie nodded. "He wants to send the Elysians back to hell with him. He thinks of them as an abomination against God, no better than humans."

Serenity asked staring at Katie, "So what is Kimberly then?"

Katie said, "Kimberly is the key, a creation of the ultimate good and the ultimate darkness. She is the only one that is powerful enough to open the gates of heaven and hell with the crystal key, a key formed when the four crystals combined."

Darien lifted his head still in disbelief. "And how are they going to do this?"

Serenity prompted, "Yeah, your father and I are both powerless." Darien glanced at Serenity as

Katie stared at her father. He turned back to Katie and shook his head. Her sapphire eyes widen as she stared at her father incredulously then conceded with a nod. Katie turned to her mother and answered, "Well, they only need the descendants of the four royal families. They have Kimberly, who is the key. Derrick is from the Earth family, golden crystal. Nathaniel is a descendant of Aries and the Sun King, the black and yellow crystals, and Rini can summon the silver crystal, since she is a descendant of the moon queen."

Josh asked curiously, "Can you be captured also to be used to form the crystal key?"

Katie answered without thinking, "No, I can't be manipulated by my brother or the devil into completing the ceremony since I am no longer innocent and unprotected like my sister." Katie shut her mouth as her father saw red and everyone else looked around in disbelief.

Serenity massaged her forehead with her hand. She was not shocked by what Katie said, but by the fact that Darien was about to kill his daughter and she already knew what came next.

Darien yelled out furiously, "What the hell did you just say?"

Katie looked sideways as she turned red and completely flustered. She stumbled over her words until she pointed to the front door backing away.

Darien's eyes narrowed as he stared at her with dagger-like eyes. She was really thankful that he no longer had his powers because he would have killed her by then. Katie said stuttering over her words, "I-I'm…going to...something…good-bye." Katie opened the front door and ran off. Darien jumped off the sofa like a cop in hot pursuit of a wanted criminal and raced outside after his daughter. Serenity had not seen him move that fast since his Tuxedo Mask days. The front door was left wide open and swinging.

Everyone in the room looked awkward. Josh broke the silence. "Anybody wants to try my key lime pie with light whipped cream and my freshly squeezed lemonade. I picked the lemons off our lemon tree this morning."

Raye, Serenity, and Andrew started talking at the same time thanking Josh and agreeing to a piece of pie. He closed the front door then walked into the kitchen to retrieve the pie.

Darien raced after Katie who he saw had ran into the sugarcane fields. He chased after her. He yelled, "Katie! Katie! Katherine Christina Shields! If they kill me, it's going to be your fault! Do you really want to live with that guilt for the rest of your life?"

Katie pouted childishly, "No." Darien's eyes widen as he stopped running through the fields and turned around to see Katie standing behind him.

Her eyes were red and shameful staring at the ground. Darien's anger resided. He said, "You're only fifteen."

Katie glanced up to him and she said, "I'll be sixteen in a few weeks."

Darien said, "You have your whole life ahead of you. There are so many things that can happen when you have sex."

Katie said, "I love him daddy and he loves me."

Darien sighed. "Katie, guys just say that to get what they want out of girls." Katie pulled her necklace out of her shirt. He glanced at the ring. "Is that a-"

Katie nodded happily looking at the tiny symbol of love. "Yes, he married me. We secretly married a few days before I came here." Darien's heart dropped that his little girl was not his little girl anymore. He wanted to walk her down the aisle and some boy had stolen that from him.

He asked, "Who is it?"

Katie simply stared at her father. "You know who he is, daddy. You always knew."

He stopped thinking like Darien and thought like Endymion. He remembered the last time he saw her before his death in his previous life and the happy way she looked at Prince Matthew. He began to see all his lifetimes together with her and in every one, she always loved Prince Matthew. She loved Matthew like he loved Serenity.

He said silently, "It's Matthew."

She smiled happily as her eyes became misty when she saw the sadness in her father's eyes. She nodded in agreement.

Darien said, "And the boy Nathaniel is now your stepson."

Katie said, "Yes."

"And who is the mother?"

"Her name was Elizabeth. Princess Elizabeth. She was mother's cousin."

"And how did she die?"

"On Judgment Day. She died trying to save her son and others. Cain sent an Elysian to retrieve her son before he was killed also." Darien closed his eyes in dread. He killed Serenity's cousin. Elizabeth was an immortal that lived a thousand years ago in the Silver Millennium. Prince Matthew saved her from dying on the moon the day the Moon Kingdom was destroyed. She had lived for a thousand years until she died on Judgment Day trying to save her son. Elizabeth was Serenity's favorite cousin. He remembered as Endymion how Serenity always talked about her cousin Elizabeth and how much she adored her. It was his fault that she was dead now. Serenity will never forgive him. She was already trying her hardest to stick with him now. "You can't tell her." He glanced up at Katie who looked like she pitied him. She shook her head. "She won't forgive you this time. Don't tell her."

Darien breathed deeply. He knew Katie was right. He knew he was slowly losing his wife. He tried masking their problems by making love to her. She allowed him to and let him have his way with her, but he saw that she was not really there anymore. Ever since Lady Luckington's death, she changed with him. When he killed Martin before her eyes, their loving making was more like a mother soothing a special child than a woman making love to her man. It was almost like she was steadily falling out of love with him. They had not made love since the day he killed Martin. They were too busy trying not to get killed. He questioned her about it a few times and she laughed off his insecurities.

Darien's thoughts returned to Katie. His wife was losing interest in him and now he was losing his little girl. "So this is my punishment for killing Elizabeth? He loses his first love, and I lose my daughter."

Katie said jokingly, "It was either that or an intergalactic war."

Darien arched an eyebrow. "I'll start an intergalactic war over you."

Katie cried, "Daddy." He opened his arms to her. She rushed into them as they embraced one another. She turned her head sideways hearing the beat of her father's heart.

Darien rested his head on top of her soft hair. When she left home, she barely reached his kneecaps and now she reached his chin.

Darien asked, "Are you happy?"

Katie smiled. She knew she already answered the question before, but this time she knew he was listening. "Yes."

Darien smiled. "Well, that's all a father could hope for, for his children to be happy."

Katie pulled away from her dad. They walked back through the fields towards the house. Darien knew that even though Matthew looked like he was twenty-one. He was over two thousand years old. Normally, he would wait. He planned things out like Darien. He was a rational person. Darien stopped.

Katie stopped too and turned to her father. He stared at her and asked, "Why did Matthew marry you at fifteen instead of waiting until you were older?"

Katie shrugged her shoulders confused also. "I don't know. He was adamant about waiting until I was eighteen to get married. Then, something happened like he saw some type of vision that unraveled him. The next thing that I knew, we are married three days before I arrived here and we consummated our marriage. Something about being marked by the devil as a child." Darien froze as Katie continued. Matthew knew about what happened to Katie as a child. "He said that our marriage protected me from evil."

As they approached the house, Darien could tell that something was weighing hard on Katie. He asked, "What is it?"

Katie smiled fake. "Nothing."

"You've been my daughter for nearly sixteen years. I can still tell when you're hiding something."

Katie turned to him and said, "If we don't stop Derrick, there is something you should know."

"What is it?"

"Derrick is the reincarnation of your son as Endymion…."

Darien answered, "Derrick is Derrick. I mean my Derrick is the reincarnation of my son a thousand years ago as Endymion."

Katie nodded. "He hated you more back then than he does now and he wants you dead in this life. He still resents you for the destruction of Elysian and the end of the Silver Millennium era. He did not have the greatest life after you died and he became totally evil."

She continued, "If we do not stop him in time, the only way to save the world from going into complete chaos and closing the gates of the otherworld is to restore the balance."

Darien prompted, "What do you mean?"

"We'll have to kill Derrick. Derrick and Dragon are one in the same now. Their fates are intertwined. I think Derrick the Enforcer has taken complete control over Derrick's body."

Darien understood what Katie meant. But he refused to give up on his son. There had to be another way.

Something else was on his daughter's mind. He demanded impatiently, "What!"

Katie glanced at the house. Darien followed her gaze. "You have to tell her the truth."

"No!" She turned her head back to him and watched her father have a fit like a child. "No, I am losing you. I probably lost Derrick. Rini's a mess. I refuse to lose your mother too."

Katie blurted out, "You already lost her."

Darien's eyes widen. Katie saw her father's face turned pale white like he was on the verge of cracking up. Katie continued anyway, "You have to make a choice, father. Who is your family? Pick a side. Is it the Bennetts and the rest of the Elysians who don't give a damn about us? Or is it mother, Rini, Derrick, and me? The noble Elysians are our blood but they do not see us as one of them. They only want us because you are the Earth King father and the blood of the Earth King runs through your blood and no other Elysian but Derrick, Rini, and me.

You are the Earth King father. You don't get to retire from the role. It is who you are until the day Uno calls you home. Whether or not you lose your entire family, your responsibility is always to your people. You don't get the chance to abandon who you are like you abandoned mom, Rini, and me all those years ago. Like you abandoned your people for the Moon Kingdom, a thousand years ago. You are the rightful king. You are the King, powerful or not." She glanced back at the house. "Your fate is the same as mother's." She turned back to him and said angrily, "The only difference is that you know the truth. You can fix this, father. But it is time to stop being the control freak that you are and be the king that you are. We grew up dad, and we are going to start our own lives.

Win or lose, I am married now. I will return to my world with Nathaniel and take my throne as Queen of the Seven Intergalactic Galaxies. That is my fate. What will Rini and Derrick's fate be? Mother's fate is decided, father. She will either leave you or become a shell of herself being with you. In a way, she'll become like a reborn completely submissive to you, but she'll never love you anymore. If you keep lying to her, you might as well kill her and have her reborn." Darien went pale. Katie sighed. "If you don't believe me, call the Sword of the Earth to you and see if Parliament really has the power to take yours away." Katie stepped up to his face and stared into his eyes that looked like hers. She challenged quietly, "I dare you to." She left him in the darkness as she began to disappear.

Darien called out to her, "Where are you going?"

Katie said, "Doing what you should be doing. Facing my problems not running away from them." She disappeared. He stood outside in the darkness feeling the weight of the world on him. He was losing his family either way he looked at it. Serenity no longer loved him and stayed with him more out of obligation instead of love. Rini was a shell of her former self and tried to commit suicide. Derrick has turned completely evil and wanted him dead. Katie is married and has a new life somewhere else. His siblings and the rest of his family despised his immediate family and thought they were beneath them and not good enough to be the rulers of Elysian. His people called his wife and daughter whores. Katie ran away from home, afraid of the controlling monster that he had become. Serenity was miserable. He realized that she was not making love to him anymore. After murdering a man, he teleported her to their bedroom, ripped their clothes off, and had his way with her. The only difference between rape and what he did is she allowed him to have his way with him even though she was completely traumatized. Whether he killed Martin or whether she killed Lady Luckington did not matter to him as long as they were together.

But it mattered to her. She took a person's life in hot blood. Three people were dead and she felt responsible for all of them. She killed Lady Luckington, more than likely; he kind of already knew that. Rose took the blame because he manipulated her into taking the blame for Serenity's crime. He loved Cain, but he did not trust him or anyone else with his wife's fate. He had someone else keeping an eye on things and when he realized that Serenity looked guilty and may lose, he took matters into his hands and outsmarted his brother and sister. He lost it when he saw Serenity making out with another man just like eighteen years ago, when he saw that video. The only difference was now he had the power to do what he wanted to do and the laws and consequences did not mean a damn to him. Lady Luckington, Rose, and Martin's fate meant nothing to him. As long as the people that he cared about were still alive, he slept peacefully at night. Serenity was not like him. She had nightmares and cried out Martin and Rose's names every night in her dreams and apologized for their deaths. She even apologized to Lady Luckington sometimes.

He wanted to go back into the house and be with her, but he couldn't. Some entity more powerful than himself prevented him from doing so. He entire life he was a selfish person only thinking about himself and how things affected him. He was a street kid, an orphan. He had to be like that because if he did not give a damn about himself, who else would. The world was selfish and people only cared about their own self-interest. He saw the way people looked at him as a child when he ran away from foster home getting the shit beaten out him by his abusive foster fathers or sometimes the women who he looked up to like a mother tried to do things to him that were completely inappropriate. He sometimes would live on the streets avoiding the police like the plague and stealing and sometimes eating out of garbage cans to survive. People looked up at him like he was a burden, a waste of space, like he was invisible. When he was so hungry and poor, he was on the street corners begging for money or food. They thought that he was beneath them and just like those people, the Elysian nobility looked down at him the same way. They pretended to adore the king and his children in front of them, but behind their backs they spoke ill about them like, Why on Earth is Darien's blood the only the heirs of the golden crystal? Why does it respond to such an immoral family with a whore for a mother, a son just like his father, a daughter that ran away, and the other a depressed maniac?

Darien glanced at the house again. Katie was right. When the child becomes the parent, and the parent becomes the child, he knew things were coming to an end. His world was collapsing around him and soon it would literally collapse around him. It was time for him to wake up. It was time for him to stop thinking that the world revolved around him. He was not lucky to be the Earth King. He was chosen by Uno to rule the Earth and protect the Earthlings not harm them like he did. His monster was the power he refused to control. It was time to embrace the monster and take complete control of it. He was never Darien Shields. He was always Endymion. He was always the Earth King from the moment his father King Damien died and the crystal accepted him as its new king. The monster now resided in the Sword of the Earth begging him to take control. He was afraid of what he would become if he fully embraced the monster inside of him. Now, he had no choice.

He closed his eyes with his hands stuffed in his jeans' pockets. The wind blew around him as he summoned the Sword of the Earth with his mind. It would not respond to him. He said out loud, "Come to me!" It still would not respond. He opened his eyes and said forcefully. "As your king and master, I command you to come to me." He removed his hands for his pockets and lifted his hands in the air. Thunder roared in the sky and sharp lightning bolts struck the earth around him.

The Underworld

With the flick of her hand, Rini sent a few demons crashing backwards against a rocky wall. She grabbed one of Dragon's soldiers' swords off the ground and battled the demons with it. Their swords possessed the powers to vaporize any creature it touched. Rini engaged in a sword battle with the soldiers blocking their every attack. She did not see the beautiful demonic sirens approaching her from behind. They screamed their banshee screams as Rini continued to block and dodged the attacks of the soldiers overwhelmed her.

Rini fell to the ground as she held up her sword blocking the powerful blows of a soldier. She turned her head and huffed with she saw the demonic sirens heading her way. They screamed as they turned to dust. Rini looked surprised with she met Jeth's eyes in his demonic form. He held out his arms and dark energy erupted from his hands destroying the demonic soldiers. He approached her and Rini was surprised as he held out his large hand to help her up.

He asked, "Are you okay?" She nodded unsure. Why was he helping her? She wondered. He wondered the same thing. He said, "Let's get you out of here."

She hesitated. She questioned whether she should trust the guy who tried to kill her then kidnapped her and brought her here.

Jeth turned to her hearing the sounds of soldiers approaching them. Jeth said, "We need to go now." He grabbed her arm and easily pulled her up to her feet. They raced away as the soldiers chased afterward them.

Dragon scowled sensing his son's betrayal once again. He was too human for him now. After keeping the boy alive for twenty Earth years, it was time to let him die. It was not like he was the first son he had to kill out of his fifteen hundred children he fathered in his three thousand years of life. He became the devil when he father Lucifer Satan gave him the throne, one thousand and five hundred years ago, after his two brothers before him were brutally murdered by demonic creatures wanting to take their throne. In order to be the devil, the King of the Underworld had to be powerful enough to defend his throne against the demonic creatures of the Underworld. The demons respected power not weakness. For fifteen hundred years, he had been the devil, the King of the Underworld, and no creature was ever powerful enough to defeat him. He scoffed even Sailor Moon could not defeat him. He made her his whore, and she birthed him the key he needed to free himself from this hell.

Rini panted heavily as Jeth abruptly grabbed her and pulled her into a large crack in a wall big enough for them to sneak in and hide. He held her tightly in his arms. She could feel his claws on her skin. Her head reached his chest, but she could not hear his heartbeat. "Stop breathing." She held her breath as the soldiers ran passed them. When they were gone, Rini breathed again.

"Come on!" He led her out of the crack in the wall as they raced around the around the corner.

Rini said, "Why don't you just teleport us?"

Jeth said, "Because it could be into a trap."

Owl Village, Gaia

Lita still lied unresponsive in bed. Zach watched as Lita's small children and Raye's daughters played happily together. He sat on the floor watching them. He could not wait to become a father someday and have little rug rats of his own. He glanced at the door and Josh standing in the doorway with his arms folded across his chest smiling affectionately at him as he watched Zach play with the kids. Zach blushed as he saw the desire in Josh's eyes for him.

Serenity listened to the rain pattering heavily on the roof and thunder roaring vociferously in the now murky sky. She glanced out the window and worried about Katie and Darien. They had been out there for an awfully long time. Sharp lightning struck from the sky causing the room to flash white and all the lights in the house flickered off and on for a few seconds. The trees and the crops rustled against the blinding rain and the strong, howling winds outside in the thunderstorm.

Raye sat on the sofa holding her stomach. Her contractions became more intense as she held her stomach.

Andrew thought strangely, "This is weird. The weather should not be like this today."

Raye screamed as her water broke on Andrew's sofa. Serenity and Andrew became startled jumping to their feet as they rushed over to a screaming Raye. Josh and Zach heard along with the rest of the children. Josh and Zach bolted out the room telling the children to stay. Raven cried out, "What's wrong with my mother?"

Raye cried when she saw herself began to bleed. She shook her head and sobbed, "I don't want to lose my baby, too. I don't want to." She screamed. "It hurts!"

Andrew yelled as Zach and Josh rushed to opposite sides, "She needs an ambulance! She's losing the baby!"

Serenity covered her mouth in shock. She cried out, "Oh god."

She looked at Josh and asked, "Can you teleport?"

Josh shook his head. Serenity panicked. Her powers were gone. She used the last of them when she healed Katie. She slowly removed her hands from her mouth and was surprised when she saw a little blood in them. Her nose was bleeding.

Josh glanced up and saw the small blood coming from his Aunt Serena's nose. He said worried, "Aunt Serena?" Raye screamed drawing everyone's attention to her. Serena wiped the blood from her nose with the back of her hand. Serenity leaned over to Raye cupping a panic-stricken Raye's face in her hands forcing Raye to look into her eyes. Her hands wet with Raye's tears.

Serenity said, "Teleport yourself to a hospital. You are the most powerful person in this room. You can save your child. What are you having?"

Raye cried, "It's a boy. I'm going to name him Chadwick."

Serenity smiled. "Then save him. We'll meet you at the hospital." Raye sniffled as she disappeared to the local hospital. She reappeared in the emergency room startling everyone. She screamed as she bled on the floor. "I need help. My water's broke and I'm bleeding!" The nurses rushed over to her and called the doctors. The doctors and nurses helped her into a wheelchair and rushed her to the operating room. Lizzy was working the nightshift and saw her. She raced to the scrubbed in room and scrubbed in to help Raye delivered her baby. She did not let her attendee know of her personal connection with Raye, because he would not have allowed her in the operating room. Raye was in danger of losing her child, and she was an expert at dealing with complicated pregnancies.

In Eden City, Ami worked at the Space Station reviewing the results and smiled at what she saw. Edward smiled back at her.

Serenity turned to Andrew as everyone was on pins and needles worrying about Raye. Andrew and Josh rushed to the hospital to see Raye. Andrew reluctantly called Adam and told him that his wife was in the hospital. A distraught Adam teleported to the hospital. Raye screamed in pain with her bent legs spread opened as Lizzy guided her through the delivery. There was too much blood. Lizzy ordered her staff to get ready for an emergency C-Section, the baby was going to die if they did not get him out soon. Adam paced the waiting room floor nervously.

Serenity agreed to stay back at the Furuhata home with Lita. Andrew thought she was nuts since he knew Raye would want her there most of all. Serenity smiled telling them to give Raye her love. Andrew and Josh reluctantly agreed. Zach wanted to tag along but Serenity insisted that he stay and help her with the children. He wanted to argue against it. But once he saw those damned innocent, pleading blue eyes, she had him. He agreed to stay. The truth was she was not feeling well and felt herself getting weaker by the second.

Serenity moaned as she walked outside into the pouring rain while Zach watched the children inside. Raven and Kayla were crying about their mother and Lita's children were equally sad. Serenity prayed that Darien was outside. She prayed that he was responsible for the sudden change in the weather. She held her stomach feeling sick and the need to vomit. The rain poured down harshly, soaking her dress and skin. Her wet hair and the raindrops clung to her skin, but she was determined to make it to the cane field where the thunder seemed to be coming from. She groaned as she felt blood dripped from her nose again as she slowly stumbled. She made it to the cane field. She said weakly, "Darien…." She wondered if he heard her.

She felt her legs getting weaker as she walked through the cane field. The tall plants brushed against her face and skin as she walked through them in search of Darien.

Darien chuckled feeling an inner serenity for the first time in a long time as his powers returned to him. The wind, the air, the fire, the rain, the trees, the thunder, the lightning, and the water….all the elements of the earth returned to him. He was her protector. He was guardian of the earth. He no longer feared his powers or who he was. He finally embraced it. The Earth had given him the power to defend its creatures from danger and his emotions were tied to it. It felt what he felt. He was the Earth. He was the golden crystal like Serenity was the silver crystal. The crystal was a manifestation of what was already inside of them. They did not need the physical form of the crystals to assess their powers. It was already inside of them. The same went for the sailors scouts. They no longer needed to transform because their powers were already inside of them. Their transformations were only triggers that they no longer needed to access their powers.

Darien opened his eyes and he saw Serenity staring at him like she read his thoughts and now knew everything. She began to collapse. He rushed over to her catching her before she fell. She moaned weakly as the rain poured down heavily on them. Their hair and clothes clung to their bodies. He knelt on the ground as he held her in his arms. She felt her body becoming weaker as he began to cry like the rain. She gently raised her hand and touched his cheek.

Serenity asked weakly, "What happening to me?"

Darien said softly caressing her wet cheeks, "When you died eight years ago after you conceived Kimberly, Uno interfered with your resurrection. Instead of sending you back like you were when left out of the world, he sent you back differently." Serenity remembered lying dead in the satanic church. She was in purgatory about to enter the gates of Heaven once more. A white light shot through the gates into her body before Jeth revitalized her body and ripped her from purgatory and back to the Earth.

Serenity asked, "Why am I still here?" She remembered Dragon shattering the crystal in the Human vs. Humanoid War. She always believed the silver crystal was an extension of Serena's heart. When it was destroyed, she should have died. Why did she still live after Dragon destroyed the crystal?

Darien smiled sadly reading her thoughts. "Dragon did not destroy the silver crystal because you are the silver crystal. You and the silver crystal are one in the same. The crystal was only a physical manifestation of what you already had inside of you until you no longer needed it anymore to activate your powers. Its power runs warm through your veins. Just as I am the golden crystal. The powers of our crystals are already inside of us and our children. We are members of the royal family blessed by Uno as his heirs. We don't need the crystals to access what is already inside of us."

Serenity cried weakly as she felt herself slowly withering away, "Then why am I dying?"

Tears dropped from his eyes. "Because this is my punishment from Uno for failing the earth. You are no longer human. Uno sent you back to this world as one of his archangels to help us defeat the devil. Your time with us was only meant to be temporary. Now, he's calling you back home, and I can't stop him." He choked becoming full, "When you turned back into Serenity as an angel, I knew Uno was punishing me and our time together would be short."

Serenity cried shaking her head, "I don't want to leave you. I love you. I fell in love with you, Darien."

Darien sniffled. "I fell in love with you too, Serenity." She felt her body fading away as he cried harder.

Serenity sobbed. "Why must our story always end like this? Why can't we be happy?"

Darien felt her slowly slipping away. He tasted her sweet kiss surrendering to her one last time. Serenity's eyes closed. He broke down into tears as her hand dropped to the ground and she slipped away in his arms. She faded away into nothingness as her essence became the wind. Darien sobbed uncontrollably. He could hear her voice whispered softly like the wind, "Promise me, we'll be happy one day."

Darien whispered, "I promise. We'll be together again." He disappeared.

Jeth and Rini were surrounded by guards as they stood back to back with energy ball forming in their hands.

"Golden Crystal Annihilation!" A golden blast of energy annihilated the guards around them. Rini's eyes widen. She turned around to see her brother standing before with a majestic golden aura surrounding him. She was surprised to see him holding their father's sword. Jeth and Rini's energy balls faded away.

Rini said happily and relieved rushing to her brother, "Derrick!"

Jeth held out his hands and yelled, "Rini, no!" Rini stopped mid-way in her tracks between Jeth and Derrick. She turned to Jeth baffled. Derrick's eyes gazed at Jeth with amusement as they stared down one another over Rini's head.

Jeth knew that Derrick could easily kill him but he blurted out, "You can't trust him."

Derrick chuckled as Rini stared at him with a puzzled expression, "Coming from the demon that tried to murder you and kidnapped you."

Jeth yelled out loud, "The Elysians asked me to! They're in cohorts with my father Dragon." Rini turned to Jeth.

Derrick lashed out angrily, "That's ludicrous." Rini turned to her brother. He stared at her like she was insane to even give the demon's accusations any thoughts. Derrick said angrily, "Rini, he's evil. We're in hell. He's a demon. You can't trust him."

Jeth said, "Don't trust him, Rini. He'll be the end of you." She turned to Jeth with apologetic eyes.

She said, "Good-bye."

Jeth yelled, "Rini no!" as she rushed into her brother's arms and disappeared with him.

His father appeared before him and began to effortlessly beat the crap out of his son leaving him for dead as Dragon walked off.

Dragon said not looking at him, "I'll kill you're later. You're too weak to be my son."

Jeth groaned as he lied barely conscious on the ground with blue blood oozing out of him.

Mina watched holding their son as Cain went crazy. They were in a room with top members of Parliament. She jumped as he destroyed the beautiful home they built together cursing his nephew Derrick's name in vain.

He lashed out angrily as Mina jumped as he threw a vase against the wall, "That ungrateful brat. He thinks he can tell me what to do. I created him. I did all of this for him. I sacrificed so much and he is an abomination against the Elysians."

He kept chanting crazily, "Endymion's bloodline is the heirs to the throne."

He turned to Mina with a look that frightened her. He was losing his mind and acting as crazy as Darien. He gazed at Mina heatedly giving her the once over. Mina raced out of the room with Denim in her arms as he followed her. She rushed into Denim's bedroom locking the door. She placed the crying child in his bed in the dark room. She tried to pacify him. The door burst opened and Cain's eyes were mad and golden. Mina cried out in pain as Cain pushed her against the wall with his hard body pressed firmly against hers. She tried to fight him off. He grabbed her hands and pinned them over her head against the wall. She breathed heavily as he stared at her with a mad look in his eyes.

He said, "Disguise yourself as Serenity and fuck my brother."

Mina asked shocked, "What?"

He lashed out angrily as she turned her face. "Fuck Endymion and produce an heir." He backed away and said, "I have pills that will weaken him and impregnated you."

Mina cried out angrily, "What's wrong with you? I am your wife and mother to your child."

Cain lashed out angrily, "You're nothing to me. That bastard means nothing to me." Mina's eyes widen. Cain said, "There is only one woman I ever loved and her name was Annabella. You mean shit to me. I married you and impregnated you because I knew that Serenity would not do anything since you and all of your friends are intertwined in this family now. We married you and impregnated you, made you one of us, because I ordered Adam and Edward to do so." Mina tried to break free. Cain tightened his grip so tightly she thought he was going to break her wrists. He stared at her with hateful eyes like she disgusted him. "You think I could honestly love a slut like you who fucked so many men she lost count. Your mother was a whore. You are a whore and your daughter was a whore. I could never love you. You were a good fuck and that's it." He glanced over at Denim, who was crying hysterically. "He can't save my people. He can't save my family. He means nothing to me." He turned back to Mina. "He's as worthless to me now as you are." Cain released her and disappeared.

Mina was shaken up and shocked as her eyes became misty leaning against the wall. She slid down to the floor. Denim crawled off the bed and rushed over to his mother who was still crying and shaking up. He grabbed his favorite blanket and began to wipe away her tears. She sobbed uncontrollably as she embraced him and held him securely into her arms as she cried nonstop feeling her child's love for her even when her husband turned his back on them.

Cain reappeared appeared in the other room. Evelyn rushed over to her brother and asked upset having overheard his conversation with Mina along with everyone else in the room, "Was that necessary, Cain?"

Cain turned to his sister with a look that frightened her. She backed away frighten of her twin brother for the first time in her life. Cain said angrily, "Eradicate the rule. Endymion's bloodline is the key to saving our people. His heirs are the salvation of our kind. The Shields family thinks they are superior to us now because they are the heirs to the throne of the Earth. Endymion, Derrick, Rini, and Katie, we are to procreate with them by any means necessary. We will make so many heirs and mixed with their blood that we will no longer have to depend on them for our survival." He began to walk out of the room and said, "Then when we have enough, we will kill Endymion and his offspring."

Evelyn's eyes widen and horrified. "You want us to rape our brother, nieces, and nephew."

Cain halted and said, "I don't give a fuck what you call it. Just do it." He walked out of the room shocking his sister and his nieces. Mina sat numbly on the floor against the wall having heard everything. She disappeared with her son in her arms.

Back at the golden castle, Derrick held Rini's hand as they ran through the castle. They laughed and giggled like they always did when they were children playing together in the castle. He glanced back at her and she smiled at him.

He led her into a room that she had never seen before. It looked like a large planetarium without a roof as she watching the stars, planets, and the constellations move around her in the dark sky like she as looking at the Milky Way Galaxy in space. She glanced at the planets. She saw Pluto, who will always be a planet to her regardless of what the scientists said. She saw Sailor Pluto's image holding her staff. She glanced at the planets of Uranus and Neptune and saw Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. She glanced at Saturn and saw Sailor Saturn with her staff staring at her. She glanced at the moon and saw Luna, Artemis, and Diana and smiled. She smiled when her mother's image appeared like the goddess of the moon.

"I love you, Rini." She turned around to see her brother staring at her with affectionate eyes. She smiled at him as he held her hand. He brought her hand to his lips and lightly kissed her knuckles. He dropped her hand. He smiled warmly. "You have always been my best friend."

Rini smiled as she gazed into his eyes. He gently stroked her cheek with his hand. She gasped as she felt a strong chill overtake her body. His eyes turned red as she lost herself staring into his eyes until she no longer had control of her body. He tilted his head. She tilted hers mirroring his movement. He gestured for her stand in a corner. She obeyed her brother.

A large triangle formed on the floor. A young boy with black hair and black marble eyes with the symbol of the Dark Moon Family on his forehead stood parallel to her on the opposite side of the room. A little girl with black hair and dark marble eyes that resembled the boy stood in the center of the room wearing a white dress. Derrick marched passed all of them to the front of the room until they formed a triangle.

Derrick's eyes turned golden as the golden crystal emerged out of his chest. He did not worry when the Sword of Earth left away from him. It was too late anyway.

The golden crystal shot up into the air and floated over Kimberly. Nathaniel called forth the black crystal of the Dark Moon Family and the Yellow Crystal from the Sun King family. Rini transformed into Neo Princess Serenity wearing a flowing white gown and her long strawberry blonde cone-shaped odangos flowed around her. She called forth the silver imperial crystal from the White Moon Family. The silver crystal emerged out of her chest and joined the others. A blinding light shone throughout the room. The crystals became one and formed the shape of a large crystal key that sparkled with many colors of the rainbow. Kimberly closed her eyes as the crystal key descended into her body. Kimberly's eyes popped open now marble white. She held up her hands and her dark hair turned snow white. She let out a banshee scream as her flesh ripped off her body. Her body exploded into a white light shooting through the gates of heaven and hell as the entire planet shook.

The Elysians panicked as pandemonium arose. A white light shined as the angels from heaven halted what they were doing as the golden gates of heaven opened. Dragon smiled in triumph as the barrier that Uno had placed his family behind for six thousand years shattered as the gigantic gates of hell slowly opened. Raye cried in the labor in the operating room as the lights flickered on and off as Lizzy desperately tried to save her baby. Adam's eyes widen and Andrew and Josh raced through the elevator doors to join him in the waiting room. Lita lied unresponsive as her room shook around her knocking things over. Zach cuddled in the corner with the children gathered around him.

Derrick grinned as Dragon grinned. Dragon walked towards his father's shrine. He knelt before the shrine and said with a bowed head with his eyes closed, "Father, it is time." The underworld shook as the spirit of Satan rose from the shrine and entered in Dragon's body. His muscles bulked up twice their normal size. He grew taller and large black bullhorns grew from his head. Dragon let go and gave complete possession of his body to his father. His eyes opened and a menacing grin appeared on his face. Dragon was now Satan. He let out a throatily laugh as he watched himself in the mirror in his son's body. He rose to his feet and walked towards the white light of the portal as his subjects bowed before him. He slowly stepped into the white light and vanished.

Katie backed up against a wall as she fought off the Elysians. She read their thoughts with horror at what they wanted to do with her and her siblings. They used their powers of wind, fire, water, and earth to attack her knocking to the ground. She groaned when she saw her Uncle Cain standing before her. She looked up at him weakly. He kicked her into the face knocking her unconscious.

Serenity's eyes popped open. She slowly sat up. She found herself surrounded by whiteness. She was dressed in a beautiful satin off the shoulder long-sleeved white gown. She was surprised at who she saw standing in front of her.
