"Oh my God!" the cleaning lady exclaimed. "Is that your boyfriend?" she asked, pointing towards Aiden.

"Uh. Not really. I mean...never mind." Krissy answered, blushing.

It was around 11 at night. After checking into Velvet Inn, the three of them -Aiden, Josephine and her- had decided to ask around for a bit, at least until Sam and Dean reached. She and Josephine were enquiring the maids and managers , while Aiden was searching for EMF, hex bags and the works. So far, nothing. The hotel had no record of Garth, or any of the aliases he used.

"Hey, umm. Back to my question. Have you seen my brother?" Krissy asked the lady sitting in front of her, as she showed her Garth's face in the photograph. The photograph of the four of them, when they'd caught the largest trout around two months back.

"That's your brother?" the woman said, grimacing now.

"Yeah. Have you seen him?" Krissy asked, the desperation in her voice, loud and clear.

"But you're so pretty...and he's so..." she made a disgusted face, completely ignoring the question. Krissy was about to snap. She clenched her fists under the table.

Sure, Garth was weird and not exactly what you'd paint a picture of, as a hunter. In fact when she'd first met him, she had questioned Dean's sanity as to how he'd assigned the three of them to him. Her opinion had changed quickly, when she'd seen Garth take a vampire down. And then another. And then one more. What had baffled her was how dorky he was. How downright adorable he was, and how he cared for them. He talked to them about college, and cars. He discussed music, and even tried to help with homework, every time he was around. As far she'd known, the only job Garth had to do was to check up on them. See if they had everything they needed. So it came as a real surprise when a couple of months back he'd suddenly asked. " Where should we go for New Year's?"

They drove all the way to a beach 75 miles away. Caught some fish on those fancy boats, and watched the fireworks at night as they bid adieu to the crappy year that had gone by. She'd finally begun to feel okay again. Finally begun to feel as if she didn't have the worst luck in the whole freaking world. Until of course, Garth had gone missing about a week ago. Great.

She looked down for a moment, took a deep breath and tried to suppress the helplessness she was feeling.

Just then-as if he'd heard her call for help-a couple of footsteps stopped right behind her and a man asked the lady, "Hey, do you know or not?"

Krissy shut her eyes in recognition. Dean. Thank...whoever it is, that's up there.

The cleaning lady smiling at Dean now, asked Krissy, " Is he your boyfriend?"

"Eww!" Krissy responded, as Dean took a seat next to her, and rolled his eyes at her response. She simply smirked at him. Dressed in a grey tuxedo, and those shiny shoes, he looked as fine as ever. As Krissy assessed him further ,she couldn't help but notice that there was something off about him. Like he was recovering from the flu or something.

Showing the lady his fake FBI badge, Dean said, "I'm Special Agent Edwards and that's my partner Special Agent...Jacobs" he said pointing towards Sam, who - busy catching up with Aiden and Josephine- waved at Krissy.

"And this right here, is a Person of Interest, so if you know anything, start talking" Dean threatened the lady, tapping on Garth's face on the photo.

The woman looked genuinely scared now. " Look...I just work here part time. But I'll tell you this... a week ago, I was taking out the trash at around 10.30 at night and I saw a man trying to jump up the fence of that Bermuda Motel. It's right behind the narrow alley behind. It was like he was high or something, kept trying to jump and would not give up. Thought the man was crazy, and I left. This boy's lanky frame matches that man's . Maybe it was him."

"Did you notice anything unusual about him?" Krissy asked.

"Not really. It was pretty dark, you know. But the man did throw something in the dumpster before all the jumping. But I'm not giving any statements! I don't want anything to do with Fed business!" she complained, getting up now.

"I assure you that won't be necessary." Dean said as he allowed her to go.

No sooner had she gone, than Dean looked at Krissy, " Told you to stay put, didn't I?"

Krissy scowled at him. " Eighteen. Adults. Not kids. Remember?"

"Yeah. I remember." Dean sighed as he put a arm around her shoulders and they walked towards the others.

For the first time in days, Krissy felt okay again.

4th update! Yay. I'm happy with this one,for some unknown reason. Eh.

Review and PM me, and tell me if you like the story so far. And tell me where you'd like this thing to go.

Also, I posted a One Shot. And since I'm obviously technologically challenged, I can't seem to reply to reviews!

I'm working on it.

Hugs and kisses, y'all!
