NOTES: News of the next TF: Prime sequel:

-0-tfw 2005 dot com: A news segment on this website:

Producer Jeff Kline spoke to Keep Me Current, to let us in on the fact that the next Transformers animated series is in production:

"Q: Of everything you've done, and everything you could do, why comic books?

A: Well, I've been almost five years going back and forth between the coasts. I'd like to live here more full-time. But it's really hard to run a show from 3,000 miles away and, for the time being anyway, it seems like it's going to be a hard time to get the networks to let me run an animated series out of Portland. I do still have a development deal with Hasbro. I have another "Transformers" series coming; that's in full-blown production right now. I have a documentary I executive-produced that's coming out this year, as well as other TV and movie projects, but I've been looking for something I can do from here. With comic books, you don't have to be on a studio lot. It's a lot of working with freelancers who can be anywhere in the country. It's a business that's very used to happening not in person. So, it's a good business to start from my home in Cape Elizabeth."

-0- A tweet from the voice actor who plays Chase of Rescue Bots:

D.C. Douglas, voice of Chase on Rescue Bots and source of the rumored late January premier date for Rescue Bots, has taken to Facebook to state that the release has been pushed back. This evening on his Facebook page, Douglas posted,

#Transformers #Rescue Bots fans: Rumor is there is a schedule delay & season 2 was pushed to February... Hang in there, kids, it IS coming!

This New Series, Will move away from a Child Orientated Audience and be more Adult Friendly, however will still use the same definitions - Like Scrap, Frag, for example - those definitions will be retained - The New Show, Will Be Finalised by April/May 2014 - New Toy Figures and Character Concept Art will be released and shown at SDCC and Botcon In 2014 - and the New Show will Premiere on The Hub Early November next year (2014?) - The New Show will also be much darker, and have more violence then Prime did. This show has been already confirmed to be the sequel for TF Prime - This Information was indeed taken from Hasbro itself. Blurr is rumored to be in this too. :D

As for Hasbro's established stable of series, which drive the programming on its US joint venture network The Hub, the 13 episodes of Transformers Prime Beast Hunters due to launch this year represent the final chapter of the Transformers Prime story. It has grown to encompass 65 half-hour episodes that continue to roll out around the world. Look for a 75-minute Transformers Prime Beast Hunters movie to hit DVD shelves in Q4.

But that's not the end for Transformers. Arnesen says a "new iteration of the animated TV series" is slated for delivery in late 2014, which looks like it might be shaping up to be the year of the Autobots, given that audiences are already expecting the fourth live-action blockbuster in July.

Just a few things to keep you occupied until I put up the next part. :D
