Chapter 2:
I groaned as I heard a loud knocking on my door. Moving the bed sheets away, I got up and rubbed the side of my head. Looking at my alarm clock I notice it was rather late. I didn't remember ever making it to my bed but as far as I could tell I was in my room. Most of last night was a blur. I remember getting the tickets with Alex after that we had said our goodbyes and he had left home. When he had walked out of my sight, I remember felling cold chill run down my spine. I remember turning around and a freakishly tall man looking at me from across the street. His scent was rather odd, it was almost felt comforting. I felt like I knew him but I wasn't able to make him out. As I started to walk toward him I notice more of his features, but what stood out to me the most were his eyes, they were as black as the night. As I locked eyes with the stranger, I started to feel dizzy. I wasn't long before I had collapse but I don't remember ever hitting the cold hard ground. I felt like someone had caught me and then... nothing. "Was it a dream?"
Hearing the knocking on the door get louder, I cussed out loud and did my best to run down the stairs. Grabbing onto the door handle, I pulled it back and glared at the person knocking. "What?" I hissed at Alex as he stood their smirking at me like an idiot. The little fucker knew he had woken me up.
"Well?" he asked as he stood there smirking.
"Well what?" I growled, I could feel my canines were showing.
"What the hell are you waiting for? If you don't hurry up we'll miss the show!" he said as he ducked under my arm and headed inside the house. "Or are you planning on going in your school uniformed?" He asked me as he turned around and pointed at my clothes.
"I know you're excited, but dude. The show isn't until tomorrow so chill."
As he heard me, my friend couldn't help but laugh. "How long have you been sleeping?"
"I don't know. I don't even remember getting home." I groaned as I shut the door and walked toward the kitchen.
"Dude…" He said as his eyes widen.
"What?"
"What if aliens got you? Does your ass hurt? Did you get probed?"
"You really need to stop watching the si-fi channel bro. If alien did kidnap me, then what the hell am I doing in my home?"
"How the hell should I know? Maybe they felt bad about leaving you on the floor, but it doesn't matter, just get ready or we'll be late!"
"Like I said before, the show isn't until tomorrow, so chill."
Alex rolled his eyes as he pulled out his phone and showed me the date. 'Oh fuck me' I groaned. "I slept all fucken' day!?"
He nodded as he smirked. "So get ready, or we will be late."
"Fine…" I mumbled worriedly as I when up the stairs and into my room. I didn't take long to get ready but the feeling of not knowing what happened the night before still weight heavily in my mind. Werewolves aren't meant to black out; the chances of our animalistic side taking over are far greater than most make it out to be. What if I had killed someone? I wouldn't be able to live with myself. I sighed as I ran a hand threw my hair, trying to get myself to calm down but it didn't help much. Putting on a fake smile I grabbed my wallet and slipped it in the back pocket of my jeans and headed down stairs.
