Zuko was sitting in front of the pond, when Katara surfaced. He stood up as she used a water sprout to put herself on the ground next to him.
"Katara!" Zuko exclaimed. He hugged her. She was surprised he hugged her. She was usually the one to hug him. When she parted, she noticed dark circles under his eyes.
"You look terrible," she said.
"Whose fault do you think it is? Katara, you were in the Spirit World for a week," Zuko replied.
"Really? It doesn't feel like I was gone that long," said Katara, as she put her overcoat on. "Let's head back to the palace. I'm sure Chief Arnook is waiting on us."
"Okay, but afterwards we need to get ready and leave. We need to head to Yu Dao," said Zuko.
They returned to the palace. There was a feast for Katara's safe return from the Spirit World. Then they boarded Zuko's ship and headed for Yu Dao.
"So, what did I miss?" Katara asked.
"Not much. I spent most of the time waiting for you to come back. While I was waiting, I did talk to Chief Arnook about how things are going between the Fire Nation and the Northern Water Tribe. We came to a peace agreement. I also told him about the Former Fire Nation Colonies. I sent a message to Sokka, and one to Aang as well, about you being in the Spirit World. I was worried about you," said Zuko.
"I know. I did not mean to make you worry, but I got my bending back. You've heard about Sokka's first girlfriend?" Katara asked.
"Yeah, she turned into the Moon," said Zuko.
"She told me that to get my bending back. I needed to find balance within myself, so I meditated and unblocked my chakras. I was at my last chakra when your uncle found me," she said. She paused and thought about what Iroh said and she told Zuko, "He told me that I might not find what I'm looking for."
"What were you looking for? Balance? A way to get your bending back?" Zuko asked.
"I guess I was, but I don't feel any different. What about you? Have you been getting any sleep?" Katara asked concerned.
"No, not really," said Zuko.
"Maybe I can help," said Katara.
"How?" Zuko asked.
"Come on, I'll show you," said Katara.
They went below deck into Zuko's room.
