Ingrid's P.O.V
I hated being nice to this wolf, it wasn't an option to be anything else but, seriously? I'm a vampire for garlic's sake and Vampire's don't do nice. Uch, even the word makes me feel sick. Bertrand and I needed to figure out what exactly happened, if there is a chance we can get good Vlad back then we have to grab it. Although I do despise both Vlads I prefer the good one, he's weaker and far more easy to manipulate. Bad Vlad was reckless, arrogant, cocky and as much as it pains me to admit but powerful.
Briony was telling Bertrand the details of what had happened the night he was bit, her 'friend' Rhydian had attacked and bit him we get that, but why? This information could be crucial and yet Briony's being tight- lipped. Maybe some Wolf's bane in her dinner would jog her memory.
"Briony for the last time, what happened before that?" I snapped, she was trying my patience, not like I had any in the first place.
"Um, nothing really", she began; it was obvious she was biting the inside of her cheek, nervous are we? "Well I moved in because my dad made me, and I'm Miss McCauley's niece, I found out they were Vampire's they found out I was a Wolfblood, I beat the crap out of this girl called Becky –
"Wait, what?" I asked, what did Becky have to do with any of this. "It's a long story", Briony sighed leaning back in the chair. "We have time", Bertrand said glancing at the clock, Vlad would still be held up for a good bit, ferals had a tendency to ramble a bit and it takes a while to decipher.
Briony eventually gave us the more detailed version of what happened, the nightclub, her drunk all the things that I'm not surprised she left out.
By the end of her little speech I couldn't come to a conclusion, nothing like this has ever happened before, a Wolfblood and a vampire, together. What's worse is that a vampire has never survived a wolf bite before, let alone turn evil from one. Thankfully, Bertrand had figured it out.
"We have to kill Vlad", he grimaced. What was he so sad about? The wimpire was finally going to die! Well, he is my brother but with him out of the way, who was next in line for the throne? Me! Along with Bertrand Briony did not looked pleased, in fact it looked like someone had told her that the moon had been blown up.
"We can't kill Vlad!" she shouted, jumping from her seat, "What if I bit him, wouldn't that reverse everything and turn him good again?"
Bertrand sighed and rubbed his temples, "No, that would lock Vlad in this state, there would be no chance of turning him back", he said.
"But there is a chance", Briony growled, "What about my blood, the real Vlad said that my blood could save him".
"And how do you know Bad Vlad doesn't know this?" Bertrand snapped, "He could know everything Vlad knows, what then, instead of biting your neck he would snap it".
Briony flinched, "I don't care, I won't let you kill him", she said. Nervous to brave, I like this one, sadly we can't have her getting in the way.
"Oh but Briony you will", I smiled, my eyes turning yellow, "and you're going to do it". Briony smiled weakly, hypnotized by yours truly. I smirked at Bertrand, "Got any stakes?"
Bad Vlad's P.O.V
I could not understand a word these idiots were saying, I mean, is it possible for vampires to even talk this fast? I did managed to catch things like, Blood, Massacre, Police, killed which is a good sign. They did look like hell, the girl had pieces of flesh in her hair and blood stained her mouth along with her t shirt while the boy, well, let's just say it looked like he had fun. I eventually dismissed them back to their coffins, as I was missing mine. Dawn was approaching and I felt more drained than usual, speaking of drained, when was it the last time I had a drink?
I shrugged it off and flitted to the blood cellar, choosing a bottle labelled 'Guy Fawkes 1605', hmm, could be good, as long as it didn't have the after taste of fireworks. Footsteps were heard in the room and I quickly turned around baring my fangs, it was just Briony.
She looked weird, yes there was the fact that there was zero makeup visible on her face (which actually suited her better) but she had a vacant expression, like she wasn't thinking or something.
She stepped forward and in her right hand she was clutching something for dear life, a stake.
"Drop it now", I hissed letting my fangs retract again, she said nothing and raised it above her head and ran ...
Briony's P.O.V
I couldn't stop it, I was trying but I couldn't. I wasn't in control anymore. Ingrid's commands were ringing through my head and I could only concentrate on one thing, kill Vlad. I had lunged at him, he tried to knock the stake out of my hands but I held it with all my strength, kill Vlad.
"Briony snapped out of it!" he shouted. I wanted to cry, didn't he think I was trying? I growled and aimed the s
Take at his heart before e running at him again, he grabbed my shoulders, looking into my eyes, "Your fucking hypnotized", he hissed before I jerked out of his grasp, kill Vlad. His eyes began to turn yellow and my instincts told me not to look, so I didn't, instead I blindly ran at him with the stake, this time making contact, I opened my eyes, everything clearer. I had control of my body again, but Vlad. He was lying on the floor unconscious, the stake half-visible, buried in his shoulder. Oh God, I didn't, please tell me I didn't.
"I killed Vlad".
