103. Quick Q and A

AN: I'm going to answer a review very quickly and maybe it will clear up any confusion the rest of you might be having. (really sorry about that, folks. Obviously I've got more work to do.)

Q: Why would Thanatos need the Infinity Serum if he's the God of Death. Isn't he already immortal-like?

A: This mutant isn't really Thanatos, the actual God of Death. That's just his code-name, like how Logan is called Wolverine. He's simply a mutant not a god. . . . . I think . I'm still hashing some of this out.

Q: Why did Thanatos recruit Bobby for the serum BEFORE Victor needed it?

A: Dang I made a goof there…Let me try to figure out an answer to that…Man, I hope I'm not disappointing you guys with these hiccups. (winces) Well, I'll spin something out of my mind.

Q: Why didn't Thanatos go directly to Cerise?

A: Thanatos decided to use Bobby to get to Cerise because he figured that she would be more….susceptible to someone her own age (and someone she has a crush on). Think about it, if you're about sixteen and some weird guy comes up and asks you to steal something from someone, wouldn't it creep you out? So Thanatos used Bobby (who is around her age) to get close to her and thus to use her.

Q: Why did Thanatos choose Bobby in the first place?

A: Our dear Bobby Drake (if you haven't noticed) is kind of chafing at the bit with Wolverine and other members at Xaviers School; think a rebellious stage. With his bloated sense of importance, he's easily open to outside influences who encourage this 'I'm-better-than-every-thinks' attitude. Thanatos needed a young, rebellious mutant to get close to Cerise to get her to steal the Infinity Serum.

In the next chapter the Astor Security people are going to show up (and I don't think Xavier is going to be too pleased, do you? Heh heh heh heh heh.) Logan and Beast head out to short-circuit the Avengers coms (but do they make it in time?) and Cassie and Bunny make their getaway. (But can they pull it off?)

Right now the next chapter isn't very long, but I'm working on it.
