Zuko and Katara arrived back at the village after a long journey.

Gran Gran had finally recovered completely so Katara felt no worry about leaving.

Zuko and Katara invited Sokka to come along. Sokka agreed to come to Ba Sing Se with them.

When they arrived at the Jasmine Dragon, they saw Aang talking to Iroh.

"Aang?" Sokka called.

They all walked over to the table and Aang and Iroh were at.

"Hi Aang," said Katara.

"Er, hello everyone. It's been awhile," said Aang nervously. He looked around.

"Is something wrong?" Katara asked concerned.

"Well, actually, it's good that you're all here. I sort of have an announcement to make," said Aang.

"What is it?" Sokka asked. "Are you eating meat now?"

"Uh, no. I'm getting married," said Aang.

"YOU'RE what?!" Sokka yelled. Everyone looked at him.

"Sokka, keep it down," said Katara.

"Please enjoy your tea," said Iroh.

"We haven't announced it officially, but we're planning on marrying in about six months," said Aang.

"Isn't that kind of sudden?" Zuko asked.

"No, we talked about it. We need start a family right away. We don't to wait any longer than necessary. It will be a small private ceremony. You're invited. We haven't sent out invitations yet," said Aang.

"Where is the bride to be?" Sokka asked.

"She's out back with Appa," Aang replied. "I have to go. She's waiting on me. I'll see you guys later."

Aang left.

"He's really changed hasn't he?"

"When the fate of the world rests on your shoulders, it's hard not to."

"What brings you three here? It can't be my tea, can it?" Iroh asked.

"Actually, we have some news too, but it can wait until later," said Zuko.

After all the customers left, Iroh closed the Jasmine Dragon.

"So Nephew, what's your news?" Iroh asked, as he gave Zuko a cup of tea.

Zuko accepted the tea and looked at Katara and she nodded.

"Aang is not the only one engaged. I've asked Katara and she has accepted," said Zuko.

Iroh looked at his nephew, then at the young waterbending master. He could tell that something was not right, but he knew how hard it was to convince Zuko of anything. He decided to wait and see what would happen.

After an awkward silence, then they drank their tea.

Katara said, "Zuko wanted to tell you in person."

"I see," said Iroh.

"I've already gotten approval from Katara's family," said Zuko.

"You have?" Iroh asked.

"Uh, yeah," said Zuko.

"Zuko wanted their approval before telling you," said Katara as she reached over and held Zuko's hand.

"Have you told your mother?" Iroh asked his nephew.

Zuko looked at the floor and slumped his shoulders.

"I guess not," said Iroh.

"Would you come with us?" Zuko asked as he straightened and looked into his uncle's eyes.

Iroh thought for a moment, then asked, "When are you planning on announcing your engagement?"

"We wanted to let those close to us know first. Then we'd let the world know. We want the world to get used to the idea of us as a couple first," said Katara.

"When are you going to tell Aang?" Iroh asked. He knew that Katara and Aang had a relationship and that it ended.

"I was surprised to see Aang, and when he said he's planning on marrying, I didn't want to ruin his mood," said Zuko.

"We'll tell him later," said Katara, as she squeezed Zuko's hand.

"Well, I guess I'd better pack. I wonder what Ursa will say," said Iroh as he walked away.

Sokka knocked on the door. Zuko answered the door.

"Sorry I took so long. I would have been back sooner, but I smelled a delicious scent and ended up eating," said Sokka.

"It's okay. Iroh agreed to come with us," said Katara.

"So how'd he react?" Sokka asked.

Zuko furrowed his brow, "I don't think he believed us."

"Did you tell him about ice dodging and getting my dad to accept you?" Sokka asked.

"No," said Zuko.

"Maybe if you told him that he'd believe you," said Sokka. "Although, I still find it hard to believe."

Soon Iroh returned with his bags packed. Then they headed to the Fire Nation.
