Dusknoir and his Sableyes wasted no time tying him up and started to drag him along. After they were gone, a shadow fell down from the trees. It looked towards where Grovyle had been dragged off and shook its head. The shadow picked up the clothes that had been left on the ground. It stuffed them into its satchel and followed the tracks that the Sableyes had left behind. The shadow lifted its cap a little in the front and wiped off some sweat, "Well," Dawn frowned a little, "It looks like I need to go get him back if I'm ever going to find my way around here." She muttered, 'and he's my only friend. I don't really know anyone else, I need to go help him. It's the right thing to do.'

She followed the tracks, unknowing that someone was tracking her as well.

"Master," whispered a small creature in a black fireproof cloak with a flame sewn on the back. "Why must we follow this child? She said that she just needed that Pokémon as her guide, she does not really care for him." Her voice was grating, mature, yet young. It was cackling like the flames of a fire yet as firm as stone. Her big eyes were full of determination and destruction, yet hidden within was fear for her loved ones that she might never see again.

Her master was a small creature as well, but in a cloak with a wave sewn on the back. He lifted the hood off of his head to reveal his white head. He was an Oshawatt with pale white skin, and blue bumps for his ears. His nose was brown like the mud from a river, and his eyes were as black as onyx stones. "Did you see her hair? Her eyes? Her determination and skills? I saw her face as well. Remember what we guardians are for. We are assigned to guard someone. Some people get multiple guardians, depending on how there life will turn. I saw her, I even managed to activate my symbol on her. She is the girl I had been assigned to so long ago, before time had frozen over. Look at her bag." The Oshawatt pointed to the girl's bag as she ran after her partner. He was excited and worried. The symbol on the bag glowed blue like the ocean. Dawn was too busy to notice. "Let's go Mandara. I have to follow her now; it's my job as her guardian." He had sounded like he was annoyed, but he was really just a bit happy. The Oshawatt ran after Dawn by running through the treetops.

"Yes master K.O.," the young Chimchar whispered as she followed. She knew the girl as well, but from a different world and time, it seemed. She smirked at how the world seemed so small, and then frowned from this innocent being thrusted into this world of chaos.
