AN: This is either the shortest or second shortest chapter so far with only a bit over 1K. Anyways, I couldn't drag on the chapter any more... Still un-beta'd and still looking for one.

Song: Rolling Girl by wowaka feat. Hatsune Miku

Disclaimer: I honestly own... nothing. The plot's sort of cliche, the characters were manipulated to my liking (but I'm hoping they're not too OOC), I have no musical talent... Wait, I own my OC who actually appears. /still hates him

Tsuna watched with interest as his brother was cornered by a silver-haired boy. From what Tsuna could see, he was foreign based on his features. Also, the girls were saying that he was Italian (and subsequently swooning over the foreign stranger.)

He had a feeling that the stranger ("Gokudera-sama," a fangirl said in a breathy voice), had more of a story to him than he knew. Tsuna also knew that he was meant to be facing Hibari, but this was more interesting (and Hibari was also interested in the prospect of biting both his brother and Gokudera to death.)

There was nothing to do but wait for one of them to make the first move (though, if Tsuna knew his brother the way he did, Gokudera would be the first to make any move.)

They seemed to have some type of conversation, a one-sided shouting match, before Gokudera pulled out dynamites.

Tsuna knew that Hibari would forgive him this once on his lack of concentration, and would even permit him to be physically close. The two of them watched the fight, watched Ietsuna run from the explosives that had a high possibility of seriously injuring or killing.

Hibari seemed to have no interest in the harm that it could cause (not only him, but the others too), and was already making his way towards them. Tsuna hated to admit it, but the prefect was fast, especially when it came to saving his precious Namimori (Middle School.)

He managed to catch up with Hibari once everything was done—he was a bit disappointed that he missed seeing how his brother had won as that could give him some hints as to how to fight. Tsuna had to admit that he was a bit shocked by Reborn's explanation—Tsuna honestly hadn't expected the Mafia World to be so soft. Though, it made sense that they would allow those who tried to kill the boss because if not, then there would be no one to really be there to fill the ranks in the Famiglia.

Tsuna was also surprised by Gokudera's reasoning. (To attack someone to see if they could be a good boss was shockingly selfless, and he found himself respecting the Italian man for his bravery; there was a decent chance of dying for such insolence.)

He could also tell that Gokudera also seemed to be trying to find something. Tsuna didn't know what it was that he was looking for, but he could hazard a guess and assume that it was to find a place to belong.

The brunette glanced back at the head prefect, who didn't comment. However, Hibari was fixated on the infant, his brother's tutor. (Tsuna had a feeling that Hibari could sense that Reborn would be a challenge, someone interesting to fight.)

Hibari stared at them evenly, ignoring Tsuna who was standing right next to him, and said, "For disturbing the peace of Namimori Middle School, I shall bite you to death." (Tsuna still never got over the fact that he could say that in a somewhat monotonous tone.)

He was helpless to his brother—he couldn't stop Hibari from attacking (and the thought did cross his mind, though he disregarded it much too quickly)—and he could only watch with Reborn next to him as Hibari completely destroyed this part of the school in his fight with Gokudera.

Reborn was looking at him weirdly, but Tsuna didn't pay any attention to it. He was already trying to find a way to control Hibari—the prefect couldn't keep fighting like this because, one day, he would find an opponent that would kill him mercilessly (and he would hate for that to happen.)

"Dame-Tsuna, what are you doing here?"

His brother shouldn't be here, Tsuna noted, but he smiled in any case. (He did love his brother dearly, just maybe a little less ever since he started to train with Hibari. Or rather, he didn't have the energy to love him too much because Hibari would push him exhaustion with each training regime. Of course, Hibari didn't seem to be affected by it.)

"What are you doing over here?" It was said sweetly, but Tsuna had a feeling that Reborn could sense the malicious question behind it if the glare Ietsuna got in response was any indication.

"I… I was with Hibari-senpai," he replied softly. (Tsuna had a feeling that his brother knew—his smile indicated that—and that his brother always seemed to know everything where Tsuna was concerned. Before, it felt a bit flattering but now, Tsuna was a bit more than disturbed.)

Ietsuna didn't bother to respond, just turned his head and seemed a bit more than pompous with his attitude. However, that attitude didn't last too long as Hibari was already done with Gokudera and now had his sight set on Ietsuna.

Hibari seemed to beat Ietsuna a bit harder than Gokudera, but that could have been linked to one's imagination. (Tsuna casually ignored the voice in his head that said that Hibari was doing it because of the way his brother treated him.)

Eventually, he attempted to jump in to save his brother (after getting over the shock that Hibari was actually fighting at this moment with his brother.) Hibari barely spared Tsuna a glance as he continued to beat the other for reasons other than the destruction of property (though that was still a huge reason for it.)

Reborn, in the end, was the one who saved Ietsuna. Tsuna, himself, couldn't help but feel thankful that the hitman, the unusual infant, had stepped in to protect his older brother. Hibari looked away from the two offenders and walked towards his office.

Tsuna spared the others a backwards glance before moving to follow Hibari (he hadn't been excused yet.) As he walked up the stairs and down the hallway, Tsuna couldn't help but think that Gokudera went through life by just existing.

He had to admit that it was a sad way to live. Even if he couldn't really see Ietsuna doing so, Tsuna hoped his brother would give Gokudera the happiness that he seemed to never had. (Of course, Tsuna was only guessing as to what was actually wrong with the newest addition to his brother's large group of followers.)

Tsuna didn't really bother to think about Gokudera much after that as he was now trying to defend himself from Hibari's attacks.
