AN: Another short chapter. Haven't found motivation to write this (still want chapter 10...) Also, I found myself in Kuroko no Basket, so...

Song: Don't Mylist Me by Live-P feat. Kagamine Rin

Disclaimer: I honestly own... nothing. The plot's sort of cliche, the characters were manipulated to my liking (but I'm hoping they're not too OOC), I have no musical talent... Wait, I own my OC who actually appears. /still hates him

"Hibari-senpai, I'm glad you agreed to come over," Tsuna said, smiling brightly, ignoring the fact that Hibari had only come to see if he could see Reborn.

The prefect couldn't help but think that he never saw Tsunayoshi smile like that. It was mildly disturbing to actually see something that bright and genuine. Hibari also had a feeling that he would be seeing Tsunayoshi's "hidden" side.

Tsuna was already navigating his way through NND, in search of the song that he thought Hibari would really like. (Some small part of his mind said that he was crazy for thinking of Hibari as "tsundere," but nothing else would really suit his mentor (and maybe friend.))

Soon, after searching through his history, he managed to find the video that he wanted to show him. Why he didn't use the search function, even Tsuna wasn't sure. (Maybe it was because he had a tendency to find videos he wasn't searching for.)

It wasn't a song that would be the best to introduce Hibari to, Tsuna knew. Glancing at the older teen, he knew instinctively that Hibari would like Oriental music, soothing and easy to listen to. It was a bit cacophonous, a generic-sounding rock song.

Seeing Hibari look at him suddenly, Tsuna couldn't help but think it was a horrible idea. However, he wanted to show Hibari what he liked. A part of the brunette also had a feeling that Hibari had no idea that he chose the song specifically for him.

"Tsunayoshi, turn that off." The threat hung in the air, silent but somewhat oppressing.

With a sigh, the brunette closed the tab, and turned to face the prefect. He had to find some other way to entertain the prefect (skylark) now.

"Hibari-senpai… do you like me?" His voice was soft, as if he didn't really want Hibari to hear him. Some part of Tsuna wanted to know the answer, but another part of him didn't.

"No." His answer was blunt, but it wasn't hurtful. (Tsuna was sure that Hibari wasn't telling the truth.)

"Then what do you think of me?" He stared at the prefect with wide eyes, using the feminine appeal that his brother said he had. (It was insulting, but it was useful at some points in his life.)

Hibari, on his part, only gave Tsunayoshi a distasteful glance before ignoring him.

Tsuna sighed; he didn't expect Hibari to say anything about that, but it would have been nice to hear the other's opinion on him.

"What does Hibari-senpai like?" Tsuna asked suddenly. His eyes were wide with honesty, and his voice was soft but firm.

"Biting rule-breakers to death."

Tsuna admitted that he could have seen that coming, but he was still a bit disappointed that the older teen didn't offer anything more than that. "Does Hibari-senpai like anything else?"

Hibari stared at him, confused by his desire to gain those answers that Hibari had originally refused to give him. The prefect contemplated telling him what he wanted to know, but decided that teasing the brunette for a bit longer would be the best. He merely smirked in response.

The brunette tried his hardest not to pout at that—he knew Hibari was close to telling him his hobbies (other than biting people to death), but he always smirked and had that knowing look, taunting him.

The silence that followed was somewhat awkward, with Tsuna trying his hardest not to search for music (even the generic J-Pop songs that humans sang) while Hibari was unused to spending time with other people (not including the times he got to intimidate the herbivores.)

Hibari eventually broke the ice by asking Tsunayoshi about his other hobbies.

Tsuna, grateful for Hibari's attempts at being somewhat social, happily replied with, "I like cooking, and I like to sing. Hibari-senpai still hasn't told me what he likes…" (Tsuna also felt extremely stupid for trying to sound cute like that but if it worked, he might try it more often.)

The prefect looked at Tsunayoshi in shocked, and begrudgingly said, "I like playing with animals." Hibari didn't like the effect Tsuna had on him, and he only glared at his kouhai after he gave an answer.

Tsuna nearly fell back from shock—not only had Hibari answered him without threatening him, but he gave an embarrassing, uncharacteristic answer. Some part of him felt honored that Hibari trusted him enough to tell him that, but Tsuna also knew that the prefect was shocked by his answer.

There was another awkward silence, both unsure about what to say now that all conversation topics were either moot or just too difficult to bring up considering the recent conversation they had. It was breached because of Tsuna's computer, this time.

It was an annoying tone, Hibari could freely admit. Hibari could also admit that he might very well hate cats once the song was over (or he destroyed the computer.) It didn't seem that Tsunayoshi was going to move to turn off the music either. "Tsunayoshi."

Tsuna was startled, thinking of something that would never happen. "Yes, Hibari-senpai?"

"Turn that off." Hibari's voice was soft, which was never a good sign for Tsuna. (He had learned how to decipher Hibari's mood based on the volume and tone of his voice.) Whenever Hibari got like that, Tsuna knew that he was beyond angry; it would only end in a fight that resulted in multiple bruises for him.

Even then, he only switched the song back to the original song he was hoping to introduce Hibari to. It didn't seem to make him happy; in fact, glancing at the prefect, Tsuna could see that he was getting angrier. Backing away slightly, Tsuna tried to find an escape route.

"Hi-Hibari-senpai, please…" His voice died off as he noticed that Hibari was far too gone to listen to his plea. Quickly darting around him to shut the music off, and his laptop, Tsuna then ran down the stairs, hoping that momentary distraction would be enough to give him an advantage.

At the end of the day, Tsuna was rubbing his sore arm, secretly thinking that Hibari liked seeing him in pain. It was a bit too painful, and his arm a bit too tender, but Tsuna also knew that it could have been much worse. Even in his "beyond all hope" stage, Hibari still held back on him.
