AN: Almost two years? I think? (Wow, what have I been doing?) I will try to get something up on April 2nd, but no promises.

Tsuna didn't think much of anything when he heard a girl shouting at his brother. Assuming that Ietsuna could charm his way out of that mess, he continued to walk to school, hoping that something bad wouldn't happen.

But that still didn't explain why he felt dread throughout the morning. It was the same routine, so he wasn't quite sure why he felt as if something disastrous would happen.

It wasn't until the daily (almost daily) training that Tsuna finally realized why he thought something horrible was going to happen. He caught a glimpse of Lambo on the roof, and it was a bit unnerving that a child had bothered to follow him. It might've also been a bit flattering.

However, a glance at Hibari told Tsuna that he wasn't amused by this situation. Tsuna knew that Hibari didn't like interruptions, and that he wasn't that tolerant of children, but Tsuna hoped that Hibari would make an exception for Lambo.

He didn't catch what Lambo said, being too preoccupied with keeping Hibari from killing him, but he did notice that Hibari looked murderous and in a fit of stupidity, Tsuna threw himself at Hibari, and started to fight him.

It ended too soon and with too many injuries. Tsuna mentally groaned as he realized that he would be aching all over his body tomorrow, and there would be bruises to cover too. "Lambo, I told you not to visit me in school."

Lambo looked a bit ashamed of himself, but Tsuna knew, somehow, that Lambo wasn't sorry for nearly getting both himself and Tsuna killed by Hibari.

"Tsuna-nii, there's a creepy girl that keeps asking for Reborn," Lambo suddenly said.

Tsuna also knew that Lambo was using that as a distraction—he thought so, as that's what he would've done if he was in Lambo's shoes. But he couldn't deny that he was interested, and a bit worried, about how Reborn would deal with that situation.

"Ie-kun can handle that," Tsuna replied, not noticing that Hibari hadn't commented, or made a move to remove Lambo from the rooftop. "Reborn-san is always with him, so Ie-kun will deal with it." Tsuna didn't say anything about the girl's fate, as Tsuna was almost certain that his brother wouldn't stop Reborn from hurting her if it meant that he didn't face Reborn's wrath.

"Tsuna-nii will protect me from her, right?" And Lambo looked at him with bright, wide eyes, and Tsuna found himself losing the battle of wills. In the end, he relented, and promised Lambo that he would do his best to stop this creepy girl from taking Lambo away.

Tsuna accepted that Lambo looked to him as an older brother, but it also brought up a desire to change completely, to become someone worth idolizing. Sometimes, he wondered if it was worth being who he was when it had no positive consequences.

Those thoughts were pushed away as Tsuna nearly bumped into the girl that confronted Ietsuna and Reborn earlier (and the girl that scared Lambo.) In a moment of foolishness, Tsuna smiled, and said, "Who are you?"

He felt really stupid the moment after being blunt because she turned to him, and focused on Lambo. She started to coo at Lambo—and that was creepy in its own way—and Tsuna was promptly ignored. However, she did introduce herself to Lambo.

Lambo seemed to preen under her attention, so Tsuna tuned out most of their conversation—he did watch, however. It wasn't until she was in his face that Tsuna realized that she was talking to him. He flinched at her accusations—it was not his fault that Lambo somehow, miraculously, appeared at his school, and it was not his fault that Lambo was bullied by Reborn—but he allowed her to believe what she wanted.

Miura seemed like she wouldn't believe him if he said otherwise.

Lambo was latched onto his leg quite tightly at this point, and Tsuna felt a small urge to carry him. Pushing that urge aside, he made a comment on her approach ("It's creepy how you just appeared"), and she looked angry with him.

"You're just as bad as that other guy!" Her glare was intimidating, and Tsuna felt an urge to just run. He kept his stance, but his muscles were tensed in case he had to run at a moment's notice. She looked ready to run with Lambo, and Tsuna didn't know how to deal with that.

"Please don't take Lambo away," he said, deciding that pleading might work. It seemed to work, as she seemed less eager to run, and didn't look as murderous.

"Then I'm coming over!" Without waiting for a response, Miura started to march towards his house; Tsuna didn't really want to know why she knew where he lived. Instead, he followed her, and mentally patted himself on the back for avoiding a situation.

She caught sight of Ietsuna, and started to argue with him, so Tsuna took the time to finally reassess everything that happened. He admitted that it had been a while since he considered changing himself, but he also felt as if it wasn't as powerful a need as it was before.

It would be too easy to ignore and walk past, but Tsuna found himself trying to appease and calm Miura, who didn't seem too happy by his interference. She disregarded his attempts after a few minutes, and focused on Ietsuna, who wasn't helping by shouting back.

Tsuna backed away, deciding that he wasn't needed, and he found Reborn sitting on the couch, watching with mild amusement. Tsuna decided that he didn't want to know what the hitman was thinking and that he was better off disappearing into his room.

Picking up Lambo, who looked as if he was about to attack Reborn, walked calmly to his room, and closed the door.

Sifting through his school bag, Tsuna decided that he would attempt to finish homework before the commotion became too much and he was forced (by his morals) to intervene.

Notes: One day, I'll read and remember reviews. And one day I'll not have huge gaps in working on a chapter.
