AN: Did I say I'd update in April? Um... I didn't? In a sentence, to explain myself, life got in the way.

Song: No Logic by OneRoom (JimmyThumb-P) feat. Megurine Luka

Tsuna flushed, his face buried in his hands. Hibari stood in front of him, smirking. He had lost the fight, again, but he was embarrassed by his mistake—he had provoked Hibari, multiple times, into fighting without realizing it (until later.)

"So the little animal has claws." Hibari was pleased, Tsuna noted, and he would've smiled if he wasn't in pain.

'Because I fought with everything I had… Isn't that right?'

"Tomorrow, I expect the same."

Barely repressing a groan from the announcement, Tsuna gingerly pushed himself up and hissed softly as his body protested against being forced to move. His body ached and he winced as his side brushed against the rails.

Undoubtedly battered and bruised, Tsuna reluctantly muttered, "I'll try my hardest tomorrow," and prayed that he was able to provide Hibari the fight he craved even though he'd rather ice himself for the majority of the day tomorrow.

When he arrived in his room, the only safe haven he had, Tsuna immediately collapsed in his bed, and sighed in relief. While he knew it wasn't smart to just collapse—his side hurt after the sudden drop—he didn't have the energy to gingerly set himself on the bed. After a few minutes of just lying in bed, he sat up and made it to the bathroom.

Grateful for the quiet house, Tsuna took the moment to strip and examine his body. He could see the forming bruises on his left side and right thigh, and Tsuna could see that he would require ice packs for these bruises.

"Why does he hit me that hard?" He asked himself, a rhetorical question. Even then, Tsuna knew that Hibari was holding back—he was notorious for sending people to the hospital. However, it didn't feel as though Hibari was holding back when it came to his training.

Shaking his head, Tsuna showered. It wasn't as painful as he thought, but he still wished that it wasn't as painful as it was.

In his room, he pulled out his homework, and diligently started to work on it. After being threatened by Reborn (in between training Ietsuna and tutoring him), Tsuna had started to become better in school. He still wasn't as good as his brother in school, but he wasn't the worst student, in terms of score, in his class.

The blessed silence wasn't to last, as the arrival of Ietsuna and Reborn meant that Tsuna would be forced to listen to explosions and gunshots. He could also hear Lambo shouting at Reborn, and he couldn't help but grimace.

It was noisy, but it was easy to accept them as family. Ignoring the aches and protests of his body, Tsuna stood and went to grab something to munch on while waiting for dinner. He didn't take notice of Ietsuna and Reborn, so Tsuna assumed that they were elsewhere.

Lambo was by himself, trying to remain inconspicuous as he tried to steal his favorite grape candy. Smiling slightly, Tsuna said, "No sweets before desert."

It was said neutrally, without inflection or implication that it was bad, but Lambo turned and dropped his candy quickly. Lambo seemed remorseful as he said, "Sorry, Tsuna-nii," while staring at him with wide eyes and a slight pout.

Biting the inside of his cheek, Tsuna managed to remain stern for a couple of seconds before saying, "I won't tell anyone."

Leaving Lambo flabbergasted in the kitchen, he decided to go back to his room to finish homework before chaos returned, but worse than before.

Hissing as he lowered his body onto his bed, Tsuna promised that he would visit Mochida tomorrow, and he also wanted to invite his friend over for dinner or something, before groaning as he remembered that he would be in too much pain to really enjoy his friend's company.

'How does he recover so quickly?' Tsuna idly thought as he procrastinated finishing the work he needed to do. 'Hibari-san never seems to be in pain, and he's able to get up and keep fighting, even if he was just in a strenuous fight.'

Chuckling to himself (and regretting it), Tsuna eventually managed to force himself up to retrieve his work, and continued to work on his bed. It wasn't the best idea, and Tsuna found himself longing for a nap, but the soft bed was much better than the hard floor, and he didn't want to move more than he did.

Somehow, Tsuna managed to finish his homework without falling asleep, and he attempted to stretch; he relished the burn, but resented the aches and pains that flared when he aggravated his body too much.

He heard his mother call everyone down for dinner, but he couldn't bother to move; instead, he fell back onto the bed (not a smart move in hindsight) and settled for a nap (or sleeping. It didn't really matter to him.)

It was refreshing, but the downside of sleeping at 5 in the afternoon was that Tsuna woke up at an ungodly time; it was after midnight, but before 5 am.

He closed his eyes, and hoped that he could fall asleep. However, his body believed he was well-rested enough that he felt restless lying in bed without moving.

It was about two hours later that he heard Reborn waking his brother, and he felt pity for his older brother. In this regard, Tsuna was glad that he was overlooked for this "Mafia Boss" life. He wasn't forced to be someone that he couldn't be, and he could spend time doing things he liked.

Even though Hibari bruised him (and worse), Tsuna didn't have to conform to the ideas of others, and he didn't need to be perfect, and he preferred only having Hibari's expectations to rise to instead of having kinder but crueler people's ideals to meet.

And that's what he was most thankful for when it came to Hibari himself. Despite pushing him to his physical limits, that was all Hibari expected. He didn't expect Tsuna to be strong enough to handle everything, and he didn't expect Tsuna to be this powerful person; he just expected Tsuna to perform to the best of his ability, even if that meant being considerably weaker than Hibari.
