Well, I've disappeared for who knows how long, but no worries, I'm still updating. ^_^ I was hoping to update during Veteran's Day, but sadly, that didn't happen. :/ At least I get to upload on Bodie's birthday~ and my mom's. I'm actually serious, she has the same birthday as Bodie. XD And my older brother just got the Xbox One and it's actually top notch, despite it not being backwards compatible with 360 games. And my sister and I played today, so that helped me with making this chapter! :)

For now, I will have to focus on the next chapter of my other story after I publish this, and so on. I have only five more chapters to do there, so hopefully it won't be so bad. But damn writer's block and no will to continue really pisses me off, so that's basically why I can't update when I want to.

Agent Glitch: I'll be sure to add in those moments. :D I find it cute, especially when Angel gives the player their card. XD (and it will happen next chapter, so hint hint. XD)

~Chapter Nineteen: Tee-Off~

The bluenette looked at the shining sun outside of the DCI headquarters. The light was warm and filled with happiness, just like someone who he was thinking about. Every time he thought of her, Oblio felt safe and content, and that's all he really wanted. For now, however, he has his solitary moments with the morning sky and cool air that will last not too long.

The summer wind added emphasis to the morning daylight, and it gently brushed Oblio's hair. The bluenette inhaled and then exhaled as he took in the sweet air. As much as he is a night owl, morning is rather peaceful as well.

"You're up early, aren't you?" a voice he wanted to hear asked. Oblio kept his focus on the view. As much as he wants to see her face, he wants to feel the sunlight just a bit longer. Despite this, Luce stood beside him and watched the view with him. "It's only the second day, but it feels like we're getting closer to stopping your father." Oblio nodded in agreement. He later sighed in slight frustration.

"Yeah... But it feels like he will be one step closer, or perhaps ahead." He turned in her direction. "I don't want him to get near you or anything. It makes me sick every time I think about it. I swear on my mother's grave, I'll protect you with my life." The brunette look at the bluenette, right before he grasped her gently in his arms. Luce gasped softly, feeling his heart race and the sweet scent of his cologne. But her shocked expression turned into a small, innocent smile.

"I know everything will be okay," Luce said, wrapping her arms around Oblio, and returning the embrace. The bluenette later smiled peacefully and placed his chin on the top of her head, closing his eyes to feel the embrace. Little did he know it, there was something that was flashing. It wasn't the sun's light, and it became worse.

He gasped, opening his eyes from his slumber. The light from his room has been hitting his face, and all of it was a dream. He was comforted, and happy, and there weren't any worries regarding his father; just himself and Luce alone. He did mention that he would be angry if Luce was captured by his father, and in his dream, he really meant that. But sadly, the dream was all gone...

The bluenette got up and hopped to his morning shower, and just before he opened the bathroom door, he noticed Luce heading to the elevator to the DCI headquarters. She smiled peacefully at him. "Morning, Oblio. Sleep well?" Despite having a good greeting from his friend, he groaned lowly and headed into the bathroom. Luce looked shocked, hoping that she didn't bother him or whatnot.

She headed to the elevator and crossed her arms with a frown. Did she upset him? Feeling a vibration from her sleeveless jacket pocket, she took out her phone and noticed a text message. It was from Angel, and with that text, it looked like he was looking forward to hanging out with her. It was a shame since Luce hasn't told him that she was a DCI agent and that she'll be busy tonight, it hurts for her to decline his offer to hang out at Groovy Smoothie.

Although, she can make an exception, because tomorrow night, she and the other three will be at Lu$h's venue. Right now, however, they are heading to Flash4wrd's venue, which is one of the golf courses that the crew's family owns. Luce was never close to Taye or Lil' T, but she is good friends with them. During their high school years, Luce would always see Taye's bus drop her off with some friends she had in there.

Out of a trip from memory lane, she stepped out of the elevator and noticed Dare and MacCoy talking as a couple would do usually. She smiled heading to where they are.

"Hey there, Luce," the blond said with a wave. "Ready for Flash4wrd?" The brunette nodded, crossing her legs and laying her back on the couch.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing Taye and Lil' T again," Dare said with a big smile on her face. "They'll be playing some sassy and powering songs there, kinda like mine." Luce nodded again. Come to think of it, Dare and Taye do have some similar moves on their songs, so some people would get confused when the three-man crew was in session.

The elevator rang, and Oblio came out of it, who still looked kind of tired. Luce pitied him, revealing a frown. When he saw Luce, he cleared his throat. "Luce, I'm sorry for-" Luce smiled and laughed lightly, which stopped him from speaking.

"It's okay. You barely had any sleep, right?" The bluenette nodded, relieved that Luce wouldn't be upset by his response when she spoke to him earlier.

"It was just a dream, nothing more," he said quietly. Just thinking about that dream, Oblio thought of the lyrics from Daft Punk's "Digital Love."

"Last night, I had a dream about you. In this dream, I'm dancing right beside you, and it looked like everyone was having fun; the kind of feeling I've waited so long."

They weren't dancing in his dream, nor was there anyone else, but the song described his feelings very accurately. It reminded him of how much he wants to tell her, but since his father is in the way, the bluenette must wait until the riot's over. At least for now, he's safe with her and D-Coy. If he can bond with Luce, he should trust the others too.

Now that the time has come for the two crews to check out Flash4wrd's place, they got on their respective rides and went off. The golf course that Taye and Lil' T owned happens to be the most popular and entertaining. Surely it's mostly kids that come to play, but at night, it gets serious with dancing. It's been a while since Luce saw Taye dance, but it will be better with her little sister at her side.

Once they'd made it, a crowd of people surrounded the golf course, and the two African-American girls were dancing to "Whip My Hair" with Lil' T starting it off. MacCoy and Dare looked at each other without any ease, since the crew dancing was doing a move that requires them to spin their heads a few times.

Soon afterward, they started to dance to "Get Ur Freak On" with Taye representing the song. The choreography looked tough to be in the "Off the Hook" rank, according to DCI, which says so on Boomy. Lil' T looked tired while doing the dance, but she was not going to let her sister down.

Right after a couple of the last moves from the song, a loud applause occurred and so the four went down to them and watch as the two crew members do their ending pose to complete their night. When the crew noticed them, they smiled and went to them.

"Hey there!" Taye said cheerfully. "I was surprised that you four are here! Y'all didn't get to have a venue?"

"Something like that," Luce said with a small smile. "It's not a problem, though. You two did great!"

"Thanks, girl!" Lil' T replied, taking off her hat, which is actually Taye's, and using it to fan herself. "That performance we did was hot!"

"Yes it was, T!" Dare said, wrapping her arms around Taye, who she's been friends with since they were in middle school. When the two of them went to catch up on what's been happening in whatever they had in common, Lil' T and MacCoy followed them, leaving Luce and Oblio alone. The four only have around thirty minutes until they have to report back to DCI headquarters, so there's a lot of time for the two of them to be together.

"Walk with me," Oblio said calmly to Luce. Once he started walking, so did she. Was there any reason to get away from the others, or is it just to spend time with her? Luce started to feel shy all over again, and that made her slightly angry because she was with him and shouldn't be shy at all. Oblio noticed how quiet Luce is right now, so he decided to speak to keep the walking less awkward. "I remember when I was five, my father would take me here every summer." The brunette paid full attention since he mentioned Dr. Tan. "I'm pretty sure Taye doesn't remember me, but I would see her play golf with some of her relatives... and I've never seen a family so happy."

Luce nodded but with a frown. She walked up to him faster, placed her hand on his right shoulder, and laid her forehead down on his left shoulder. Oblio stopped and turned his head around to see her hand grip his shoulder. "It's a shame that I didn't get to meet you during that time. My brother worked here for a few years before he went to California for his college career. I was fifteen at the time, and the only people I would see are bystanders and Taye with her family. I guess when you got older and became more introverted..."

Oblio turned around and looked at her pitied face. "...that was when I haven't returned. It would have been amazing to meet a sweet, gentle person like you during that time," the bluenette complimented. Luce blushed, but luckily for her, Oblio can't see the shade from the dim lights at night. The honesty in his voice was touching, and it warmed Luce's heart like a fireplace during winter.

I'm so glad that you're my friend, Luce thought, smiling at him brightly. Before she could speak, she heard whistling from far away. It was Dare, who was waving at the two. She was smiling as usual and MacCoy was giving her a piggyback ride for some reason.

"Luce, Oblio! We're heading back!" the Ukrainian blond yelled, using his two hands to help emphasize his voice. At least the work is done tonight, so Lightning walked over to them where they would hop on their vehicles and head back to DCI. They're nearly halfway there to finish what they started. Lu$h is up next, and Luce will finally get to spend some time with Angel like he wanted.

~Chapter Twenty coming soon...~

(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)(~::...::~)

Apologies for the short chapter. :/ I was lacking inspiration since I'm not a big fan of Flash4wrd, but here you go! I'll get to Lu$h right after this~ The beginning of this actually inspired me from watching Daft Punk's music video "Digital Love". In my opinion, it would describe Oblio's feelings toward Luce, and it made me add the dream in there. :D Hope I didn't disappoint you, though. At least I added some cute moments here and there.

I've noticed for some reason, that every time I added in a part that has to do with just Luce and Oblio alone, I get a lot of words to put in, and that's actually supportive for me. :D I try my best to make it at least to two thousand words, but sometimes I would have around a thousand, which is a pet peeve for me. :P

I'm also in love with the oneshot Agent Glitch made that I requested. It's dark, sweet, and just full of amazing feels. :3 I think you know who it includes, so go check it out if you want! ^_^ And please review~
