Slender Man – Light Yagami (Part 2)
The phone still rested in my hand, the eerie beeps at the other end telling me he had hung up. My hands shook as I tried to call him again.
"I'm sorry, but the number you have dialed is-"
I wanted to laugh. This was what I wanted. L to be gone, L to be dead! I wanted that, wished for it! I didn't have to dirty my hands with his blood! So why am I shaking with worry, fear, and anxiousness? Why am I so damn worried about some damn nuisance?
I take in a shaky breath, before letting it out. I stare at my phone again before getting out of the car. I slam the car door shut, immediately regretting it. Whatever went after L was still out there. It probably killed Misa, and there were obvious signs of others being here. Why did we come here again?
"Misa hasn't called like she said she would, Yagami. We should check up on her."
I hang my head limply. Why did L have to fucking suggest it? Why did he have to always follow his damn gut?
"Because he's just like you Light, only much more caring."
Thanks Ryuk, like I didn't know that. I begin to walk in the direction he had ran. Because of the tall man there was a clear path from when he began running after L. Who did L say he was?
"That thing is a man called Slender Man."
Slender Man? Wasn't that some random creepy pasta my sister read about a million times? Or that monster in Germany that stole children and supposedly ate them? I shake my head, stirring my hair slightly.
Hiss….
I carry on my way, seeing a tunnel vaguely ahead of me.
Hiss…Hiss…
I stop at the end of the path to see a construction site. The sight was eerily similar to a haunted site. With fog and empty machines, stopped in the middle of their work. I continue forward, L's words ringing through my head.
Hiss…Hiss…aaaaaaaahhhhhh…
I stop in my tracks and still, listening with attentive ears.
I got him…boy….hahaha…
Is this voice mocking me?
He's inside…go and greet him…hahaha…
Pissing me off.
"Boo."
I begin to run after hearing her voice. Shit, who is that? Who is mocking me? She will pay! Mocking Light Yagami; the greatest God Kira! I can still hear her behind me until I slam a random door behind me. It automatically locks and a feeling of dread swells within my chest. I'm trapped with this woman, and a Slender Man is somewhere out there. Not to mention-
"Light?"
Slender Man – L Lawliet (Part 3)
I am now calm. My reactions earlier were unlike me and utterly stupid. Watari would advise me not to think like this, but it's the truth. I'll just have to save myself!
I slowly rise from the bed, my legs still shaky.
"Come on Lawliet, she doesn't scare you!"
She acted just like mom…
I still in my tracks, my mind now wandering in dark places.
Mom told you about him, slender man. Mommy says she met him, wants to marry him…
I didn't have a mother, who is this?
Mommy brought him home, and I screamed. She wasn't the same…
How did she change?
She began to dig up dead people, where their skin on her face…
What the hell?
She would never talk to me, only ask me a question…
"What are you thinking about?" I ask myself, shaking my head. I was getting paranoid, someone will come and get me. When I finally found the courage to stand up tall (hurting my back in the process) I heard hurried steps; running.
She would never leave me alone, she was afraid I would runaway! Eventually she just locked me in my room, but I wasn't alone…
The door opened quickly, and the body that ran in shuts it behind him. A loud click rings through the room. At closer inspection he looks panicked, a feature foreign to his normal features.
"Light?"
