Sara walked out of the doctor's office. She was still wrapping her head around the news the doctor just gave her. She totally wasn't expecting that. She wasn't sure how she was going to tell Callen this. She wondered how he was going to react on the drive home. She had told Callen she was going to the store because she didn't want him to worry. Sara quickly stopped by the store on her way home.
"Hey G," Sara spoke as she walked into the house.
"Hey Sara," Callen replied. "You've got everything now?"
"Yes I do."
Sara walked to the kitchen to put the groceries away. After that she began cooking the Christmas meal.
Callen was really looking forward to Christmas. For the first time he was spending it with Marisa and Sara. He really loved that Sara was in his life now. He really had missed her. He walked into the kitchen and watched as Sara was preparing dinner. Sara turned around and caught him staring at here. Sara walked up to him and gave him a kiss.
"You were staring," Sara told him.
"I was mesmerized," Callen replied with a smile. Sara smiled back at him and kissed him again.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
Sara went back to cooking while Callen went for his run. Sara was so far done with her cooking so she went to get a shower. As she stood under the shower she wondered how she should tell Callen the news she had received at the doctor's office. She was shocked out of her thoughts when she heard the shower door open. She opened her eyes and saw Callen stepping in.
"Hey G, you had a good run?"
"Yes I did. I heard you were in the shower so I thought I would join you."
"I don't mind that."
Callen kissed her. Before Sara knew it Callen had picked her up and pressed her against the wall. Sara automatically wrapped her legs around him. She noticed she was getting turned on really quickly and she wanted nothing more than to make love to Callen. When Callen kissed her spot in her neck she was gone. Sara didn't want to wait any longer so she reached between them and directed him to her. Callen was surprised by her sudden actions when he felt himself sliding into her. He looked at her as Sara moved down on him.
"Sorry, I just want you so badly," Sara spoke when she saw Callen looking at her.
"That's alright."
Callen kissed her as he started moving. The hot water running over their bodies felt so great. Callen held her tightly as Sara started quivering against him.
"Oh my god, that was so good," Sara uttered as she looked at Callen.
"Yeah it was really good."
Callen held her for a while until he put her back down. They finished their shower and got dressed. Callen looked at her while Sara was getting dressed. She looked so beautiful. He was lucky to have her.
…
Just before 6pm Marisa knocked on the door.
"Hey dad," Marisa greeted Callen with a hug when he opened the door.
"Hey Marisa, come on it."
"Thanks, where's mom?"
"She in the kitchen."
Marisa walked to the kitchen. "Hey mom."
"Hey Marisa."
"How's dinner coming along? It smells delicious."
"It's almost done. Did you bring dessert?"
"Yes I did."
Marisa showed her the dessert and put it in the fridge. 15 minutes later they sat down to eat.
"It really looks delicious mom."
"What kind of wine do you want Sara?" Callen asked from the kitchen.
"No wine for me."
"You're feeling okay?" Callen asked concerned.
"I'm fine. Just still a bit trouble with the stomach bug but don't worry honey I'm fine."
"Alright. You Marisa?"
"White wine please."
The dinner was really nice. They loved spending time together. This was really the best Christmas Callen had ever had. Everything was just perfect. After dinner they played some games. Marisa and Callen played a game of chess while Sara watched, she couldn't play chess.
"Checkmate dad."
"Damn it. Well played."
They really had a great time. They sat by the fireplace and exchanged memories of their Christmases. Marisa felt bad for her parents that they never really had a normal Christmas. But that was all in the past now. They had each other now to celebrate Christmas with. Marisa stayed at Callen's house overnight so they could do the presents tomorrow morning.
Marisa was up early so she went to bake some bread for the breakfast. Callen and Sara walked into the kitchen about 5 minutes later. They sat down and ate breakfast. After breakfast they sat in the living room by the Christmas tree. Sara handed Marisa her package. Marisa opened it. It was a book with pictures of her when she was just born and when Sara was pregnant with her.
"This is really nice mom. I didn't have pictures like this."
"You're welcome sweetie."
They all got very nice gifts. Marisa gave Sara a box just like Callen had but then with pictures of her growing up and her and Callen.
"These are you adoptive parents?" Sara asked looking at a picture.
"Yes they are."
"They seem very nice people."
"Yes they were."
Marisa gave Callen and Sara a picture of her with her adoptive parents and she had photoshopped Callen and Sara in. Next Callen gave his gift to Sara. It were two packages. Sara eagerly opened the first present. She was completely blown away by the beautiful necklace Callen had bought for her.
"Oh my god G, that's beautiful. Thank you." She gave Callen a kiss.
"You're welcome welcome."
Callen got another kiss and thank you when Sara opened the package with the bracelet.
"And now your present," Sara spoke as she handed Callen his gift.
Callen opened the present and was a bit confused by what he saw. He looked at the picture and then it hit him.
"Sara, are you pregnant?" Callen asked with a smile on his face.
Sara nodded. "Yes I am."
Callen pulled her to him and gave her a big hug.
"This is amazing honey, I can't believe it."
"Neither could I when I found out."
"I love you," Callen cupped her face and kissed her.
"I love you too."
They both had forgotten that Marisa was in the room.
"You're really having a baby mom?" Marisa asked surprised.
"Yes I am."
"That's great mom." Marisa hugged her. "I'm getting a little brother or sister."
"I'm really happy to share this with you two," Sara spoke as she pulled Callen and Marisa to her. "I love you both."
Callen was walking on cloud 9. He couldn't believe he was gonna become a daddy again. Marisa left to go get ready for her date with Zac.
"I can't believe you're actually pregnant," Callen told her as he hugged her from behind while Sara was doing the dishes "When did you found out?"
"Yesterday."
"How far along are you?"
"I don't know yet. In the new year I have an appointment with the gynecologist."
"Ah okay. But you're sure you're pregnant?"
"Yes, you saw the picture right."
"Yeah I know, but just wanted to make sure."
Sara turned in his arms. "Honey, I really am pregnant."
Callen smiled and kissed her. "I absolutely love it. I'm so happy right now. I can't believe we're having another baby."
"Yeah me neither. 27 years after we had Marisa."
"That doesn't mind. I'm happy to have another baby with you."
"Really? I know it's kinda unexpected."
"Yes really. Sure it wasn't planned, but I'm happy with it."
"I'm glad to hear that."
Sara kissed him again. Before they knew it they were in bed, naked. Callen kissed down her body and stopped when he reached her stomach. He moved his hand over her stomach and kissed it.
"I can't believe that there's actually a baby in here," Callen told her with a smile before he went back to kissing here.
They made love 3 times and ended up staying in bed till it was time for dinner.
….
Marisa was getting ready for her date with Zac. Just past 6.30pm there was a knock on her door. Marisa opened it and saw it was Zac.
"Hey Zac, come on in, I'm almost done," Marisa greeted him.
Zac stepped in and gave her a soft kiss on her cheek. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you." Marisa put her shoes on and grabbed her coat. "Shall we?"
"Yes."
Zac drove them to the restaurant. It was an Italian restaurant. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The waitress showed them to their table and Zac sat Marisa down. The waitress took their drinks and gave them their menu cards. They ordered dinner and talked when they waited.
"So how was your Christmas Eve?" Zac asked.
"It was very nice. Spent it with my mom and dad and then I stayed there overnight and we did presents this morning. How about you?"
"Went to my folks. The family was coming there for Christmas Eve. We had a nice dinner and exchanged gifts."
"That's nice."
"I really like it that we spend Christmas together."
"Me too. I was really looking forward to tonight. I really like spending time with you."
"Same here. I'm glad we met each other, even if it was at a support group meeting."
"Yeah me too. It's nice to have someone to talk to who knows what I went through."
"Yeah it is. The group really helped me."
"Yeah, it's helping me too and you've helped me too. But that's not the only reason why I like spending time with you. I really like you."
"I really like you too. I really liked the kiss we shared after our first date."
"Me too. But the rest was just too soon for me. But I really enjoyed the kiss too."
"I know, we've agreed to take it slowly with everything that happened. And I'm okay with that. I'm happy to just spend time with you."
Marisa gave him a smile as they enjoyed their food. It was really delicious. Marisa really enjoyed it. They check came and Marisa wanted to pick it up.
"Let me. It's my Christmas present to you."
"Thank you. That's sweet of you."
After dinner Zac dropped Marisa off at her place.
"Do you wanna come up for a drink?"
"Sure."
Zac parked the car and went upstairs with Marisa. Marisa poured them a glass of wine.
"You really have a nice place here."
"Thanks."
"Are these your mom and dad?" Zac asked as he pointed at a picture.
"Yes, these two are my mom and dad and these two are my adoptive parents. They died a while ago."
"I'm sorry."
"It's okay. At least I've got my mom and dad."
"Yeah it's nice that you found them again."
"Yeah, I'm really glad I did. By the way, I bought you a present."
"That's sweet of you," Zac told her as Marisa handed the present to him. Zac opened the present. It was cologne. "Thanks. I always use this one."
"Great, I wasn't sure which one to pick."
"This one is very good. Thanks."
Zac leaned forward and gave Marisa a small kiss on the lips.
They talked for a few more hours.
"I should be getting home," Zac spoke.
"Uh, I don't think you can still drive."
"Yeah, you're probably right. I'll call a cab."
"You can stay here if you want."
"I don't want to impose."
"You're not imposing. You can stay here."
"Thanks."
"You can stay with me in bed if you want."
"You sure? I'm happy to sleep on the couch."
"Yes, I'm sure. Just as long as it stays with sleeping."
"That's fine. Thanks."
Marisa and Zac walked to the bedroom. Marisa went to change in her pajamas in the bathroom.
"Goodnight Zac."
"Goodnight Marisa."
They fell asleep soon. The next morning Marisa woke up and she noticed that she was lying on top of someone. She opened her eyes and saw it was Zac. She tried to think back to last night. She was pretty sure that they hadn't slept together. It was really comfy so she stayed in bed a little longer. A little later she noticed that Zac was awake.
"Good morning," Marisa spoke.
"Good morning. You slept okay?"
"Yes I slept fine. Sorry I fell asleep on your chest."
"It's fine. I actually liked it."
"Me too. It's really comfy." Marisa looked up into his eyes and they shared a soft kiss.
"Thanks for letting me stay here."
"No problem. I wasn't about to let you drive home like that."
"Thanks again."
Zac stayed at had breakfast before going home. They agreed that they would spend New Year's Eve together.
….
Today was New Year's Eve. Marisa was just getting dressed when her phone rang. It was Sara.
"Hey mom," Marisa spoke as she answered her phone.
"Hey Marisa, how are you?"
"I'm good. You?"
"A little morning sickness but otherwise okay."
"That's good to hear."
"I was actually calling to see what you were doing tonight. Your dad and I would love it if you would come over here."
"Uh, Zac and I actually made plans to spend New Year's Eve together."
"You can bring him with you. I would like to meet him."
"I'll ask him and I'll let you know."
"Great. I really hope you'll come here."
"I'll let you know," Marisa spoke before she disconnected the call. She called Zac.
"Hey Marisa."
"Hey Zac, I have a question. My mom just called and she asked me if I wanted to spend New Year's Eve with them. I told her I had plans with you but she said that you could come too. So my question is: would you like to come with me to my parents' house?"
"Sure, that sounds like fun. I wanna get to know your parents."
"Great. I'll pick you up around 7pm."
"Great. See you then."
"See ya."
Marisa called her mom again and told her that they were coming over tonight.
Callen and Sara went to do shopping for tonight. It was busy at the store so it took them a while. About 2 hours later they were back home. Callen put the groceries away. He heard Sara puking in the bathroom.
"Are you okay?" Callen asked when she came out of the bathroom.
"Yeah, I'm good. Just morning sickness."
"I still can't believe it. The new year is gonna be awesome. I just know it."
"Yeah I have that feeling too. I'm glad to be with you again."
"Me too. Especially now we're having a little baby. I'm glad that this time around I get to be there for you."
"I like that too. With Marisa I missed you."
"I'm not going anywhere this time," Callen told her and he kissed her.
Together they prepared the snacks for tonight. They made fritters, wraps with chicken, lettuce and herb butter, stuffed eggs, melon with ham, cheese and cucumber and little pizza slices. They also bought some chips, nuts and fried snacks. Just before 6pm they were finished. Together they stepped into the shower. They had fun under the shower for a while before getting dressed. Just after 7 the door knocked. Callen went to open the door.
"Hey dad," Marisa greeted him.
"Hey Marisa," Callen gave her a hug. "Come on in."
"Hi mom." Marisa gave her a hug too.
"Hi Marisa, glad you could come."
"Mom, dad, this is Zac. Zac this is my dad, Greg, and my mom, Sara."
"Nice to meet you both," Zac spoke as he shook their hands. "You really have a wonderful daughter."
"Thank you. I've heard a lot about you," Sara replied.
"Nothing but good things I hope."
"Oh yes, Marisa really likes you."
"I like her too."
"That's good to hear."
They sat down and Callen poured them something to drink and put some snacks on the table.
"These look really great mom. Did you make these?"
"Yes, together with your dad."
"You helped dad? I didn't think you could cook," Marisa joked.
"I do know how to cook, I just never do it."
"Yeah sure."
They really had fun. They played a gun of Pictionary. Marisa was teamed up with Sara and Zac with Callen. Callen wasn't really a good drawer. Marisa and Sara won. Next they played a game of Charades. This time Marisa was teamed up with Callen and Zac with Sara. Marisa won again.
"You're really good at games," Zac spoke.
"Yeah I am. I love playing games."
"How about we play a game of trivial pursuit?" Sara suggested.
"That's fine."
Callen and Sara teamed up and Zac and Marisa teamed up. It was a really close game. Zac and Sara managed to beat Callen and Sara by one question. It was almost midnight so Sara went to put the fritters in the microwave. Callen went to open the champagne. He poured a class of champagne for Sara without alcohol. Callen handed everyone a glass as Sara put the fritters on the table.
The clock appeared on the TV screen and they counted down.
"Happy New Year!" They yelled as it was midnight.
They clinked their glassed and took a sip. They wished each other happy new year and enjoyed their champagne and fritters. They went outside to enjoy the fireworks. Sara and Callen stood together. Callen had his arms around Sara. Callen was really happy to spend New Year's Eve with Sara. Zac had bought some fireworks and he set them off. They were really beautiful.
Zac and Marisa stayed the night since they both had something to drink.
"Goodnight guys," Marisa spoke as she and Zac walked to Marisa's bedroom.
"Goodnight," Sara and Callen replied.
"We should go to bed too," Sara told him.
"Yeah."
Callen finished putting the food back into the fridge and he joined Sara in bed. Callen kissed Sara.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
"And I love our little baby in here too," Callen spoke as he kissed her stomach.
Sara loved it that Callen was happy about having another baby. Sara moaned as Callen kissed her sweet spot in her neck.
"G, we can't do it now. Marisa and Zac are in the next room," Sara protested.
"So we'll just have to be quiet," Callen smirked at her.
Sara loved it when Callen acted like this and right now she was finding it very hard to resist him. Callen felt her surrendering to his kissing and smirked against her neck. Sara was in heaven as Callen worked her body. She moaned when Callen went between her legs.
"Shh, not so loud," Callen told her.
"I can't help it. It's just so good."
"Bite down on the pillow or sheets then."
In the other room…
Marisa and Zac were lying on the bed and they were kissing.
"This new year is just gonna be amazing I know it," Zac told her. "We'll just forget all the awful stuff that happened last year."
"Yeah, a fresh start."
"Yes a fresh start."
Zac kissed her again. He really liked spending time with her these last few months. He felt they were ready for a step further but he decided to let Marisa decide that. Their kiss quickly became more heated. They stopped kissing when they heard a scream coming from the other room. Zac and Marisa laughed as they heard some more noises and realized where the noises where coming from.
"Seems like your parents are having a good time," Zac joked.
"Yes it seems they are."
Zac kissed her again as Marisa turned them around so she sat on top of him. Marisa looked at him. She was asking herself if she really wanted to do this.
