Marisa grabbed her gun and moved in. The house was clear, nobody was there including Zac. Marisa quickly pulled out her phone and called Callen.
"Hey Marisa," Callen answered the phone.
"Hey dad."
"Marisa, what's wrong?" Callen could hear by the sound of her voice that something was wrong.
"It's Zac, he's gone."
"Gone? What do you mean gone?"
"The door was kicked in and he's gone."
"I'll be right there." Callen hung up the phone.
"Everything okay honey?" Sara asked.
"It's Zac. His place has been broken into and he's not there."
"I'm coming with you."
"No, I don't want you out in the field if something's happened to Zac."
"I'm not going into the field. I need to be there for Marisa."
"Alright."
Callen and Sara drove over to Zac's place. Marisa was sitting on the steps.
"Marisa, are you okay?" Callen asked.
"I'm fine dad, I'm just worried about Zac."
"Did you call him?"
"Yes I did. It went straight to voicemail. What if he was taken so they could use him to get to me?" Marisa cried.
"We're gonna find him Marisa, don't worry."
Callen pulled out his phone and called Eric. Sara sat down next to her daughter to comfort her.
"Hey Callen, what's up?" Eric asked when he answered the phone.
"Eric, can you run a trace on a phone number?"
"What's going on?"
"Marisa's friend Zac, hiss place was broken into and he's not here and he's not answering his cell phone. She's worried he has been taken, maybe to get her so we need to make sure she's not compromised."
"Alright, I'll call the team and we'll get started."
"Great thanks."
LAPD arrived at the scene and Callen, Sara and Marisa left for the office.
"Have you got anything?" Callen asked as they walked into OPS.
"Nothing on his cell phone but I did found this," Eric told them as he put a video feed on the screen. "This was taken just outside Zac's place around 6pm."
One the video they saw two men pulling up to Zac's place in a van. They made their way to Zac's door. They kicked in the door and a minute later they came outside carrying an unconscious Zac. Marisa held her breath as they put Zac in the van and drove off.
"Do you have anything on the men or on the van?" Callen asked.
"Facial reg didn't get a hit and we're still tracking the van with kaleidoscope, nothing so far yet."
"Keep looking, let us know when you've got anything."
They all left downstairs.
"Marisa, I know it's hard right now but can you think of anyone who would want to hurt Zac?" Callen asked.
"No, no one. I really think they weren't after him but they are after me."
"Did the two guys look familiar to you?" Kensi asked.
"No, I've never seen them before."
…
Zac woke up and he noticed he was in a dark room and tied to a chair. He tried to get loose but it wasn't working. He wondered who those people were and what they wanted with him. Maybe it was connected to one of his cases. He listened closely to hear any sound. He heard the two men talking on the other side of the door. He didn't know what they were saying. They were speaking a foreign language. He tried to think back to his recent cases if there was some link to someone foreign but he couldn't come up with someone. A little later the two men stepped inside the room and put the light on.
"Who are you? What do you want with me?" Zac spat.
"What we want is really simply Zac, we want Callen."
Callen? I don't know any Callen," Zac spoke wondering what was going on.
"Sure you do." One of the men pulled out a picture of him and Marisa. "Can you tell us who this is?"
"That's my girlfriend Marisa. You stay away from her. Don't hurt her."
"That's up to you. If you tell us what we want to know we won't hurt her."
"I'm not telling you guys anything," Zac spat and he was rewarded with a slap to his cheek.
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way."
"I won't let you hurt her."
"We won't hurt her. Besides she's not the one we're after."
"If you're not after her why did you take me?"
"Because you were an easy way in. We're after her father. I'm sure by now she would have contacted her father and the team is probably looking for you right now."
"Team? What team?"
"The team Marisa and Callen are working on."
"I have no idea what you're talking about."
"I knew you'd say that. She probably hasn't told you what she really does."
"I know what she does."
"So you know she's a federal agent. But you don't know where she works." Zac kept quiet. He didn't know any details about Marisa's job. "She works with NCIS and a while ago her team, especially her father, tracked down my family and killed almost everyone. There are only a few of us left."
"And let me guess, you want revenge."
"That's exactly what I want. So I've just gotta keep you here a little longer until they come and rescue you and then I'll get what I came for."
"I won't let you hurt her or her father," Zac spat as he fought his restrains.
"I'm afraid you don't have a choice.
…
"We found the van," Eric spoke as he and Nell came down the stairs.
"Where is it?" Marisa asked.
"It's at a warehouse in Inglewood. Address is on your phones."
"Do you know if Zac's there?"
"We couldn't see. The van blocked the path of the camera. We couldn't see if they took Zac inside and who's there with them."
"Alright we'll go check it out," Callen spoke.
"I'm coming with you dad."
"No, you're not. You've not been cleared for field work yet."
"I don't care, it's my fault he's in this mess. I'm coming with you, end of story."
Callen knew it was pointless to argue with her. "Alright, but stay close to me."
"I will."
"Be careful," Sara told them as they walked to the armory to gear up.
"We will Sara, don't worry," Callen told her.
They geared up and left for the address. Callen told them the plan. They breached the building and each went a different way.
"They are here," one of the men spoke.
"You leave them alone," Zac spat.
They opened the door and peeked around the corner. They saw Callen, Sam and Marisa closing in on them and they started shooting at them. Callen, Sam and Marisa quickly dodged the bullets and fired back at them.
"Stim că ești aici agent Callen[We know you're here Agent Callen]," One of the men spoke.
Callen was taken by surprise when he heard them speak Romanian.
"lăsat să plece sau te voi ucide [Let him go or we'll kill you]," Callen responded.
"You will not get that chance agent Callen. We'll kill you first."
"G, who are these people?" Sam asked.
"I don't know but I think Comescu's."
"Comescu's? Didn't we kill them?"
"Most of them, not everyone."
"We just want you agent Callen. We just used Zac to lure you here. We won't hurt you if you give yourself up."
"Dad, don't do it. We'll find a way out with giving you up."
"I can't let them hurt Zac because of me."
"Dad, if you give yourself up they'll kill you."
"That's not gonna happen."
Callen told them the plan he had in mind. Sam and Callen would draw the attention to them so Marisa could free Zac.
"If you want me so bad, you're gonna have to come and get me," Callen spoke.
"With pleasure."
The two men moved closer to Callen and Sam leaving the room where Zac was in. Marisa managed to sneak up behind them.
"Hey," Marisa called causing the two men to turn around. Marisa shot one of them and before the other could raise his gun towards Marisa Callen shot him.
"Who are you?" Callen demanded when he had cleared their weapons.
"This isn't over, you'll pay for what you did to my family," Nico Comescu spoke in a faint voice.
"Comescu. They can try but they all will die. I won't rest until every last one of you is dead."
The two men were dead. Marisa went to look for Zac. She found him tied up.
"Zac, are you alright?" Marisa asked as she untied him.
"Yes, Mari I'm fine. Is your dad okay?"
"Yes, don't worry about him or the men that kidnapped you. They are dead."
"Who were they?"
"I'll tell you later. Come on let's get you home."
"Are you okay Zac?" Callen asked as Marisa and Zac walked out of the room.
"Yes I'm fine."
"Sorry we got you into this mess. I'm sorry they used you to get to me through my daughter."
"It's okay. I'm fine. Just hope it doesn't happen again."
"I'm really sorry."
Marisa handed her gear off to Callen and took Zac home.
"Can I stay over at your place? I don't wanna be here just yet," Zac spoke.
"Sure that's fine. Just pack up some stuff you need."
Zac packed up some stuff and the headed to Marisa's place.
"I'm really sorry what happened today but I'm glad you're okay. I was worried about you."
"I'm fine. Don't worry about me," Zac told her as he pulled her in for a hug.
"I'm guessing you want some answers."
"Yes that would be nice."
They sat down on the couch after Zac changed into some clean clothes.
"What did they tell you about me and my dad?"
"They told me you work for NCIS and that your dad was the one who killed some of his family members a while ago. And that your father's name is Callen."
Marisa sighed deeply. She really had hoped this information didn't come out like this.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about what I really did."
"So you do work with NCIS?"
"Yes I do. But the reason I didn't tell you was because we are a special unit. Technically we don't exist outside the office. That's also why I never told you my last name or my father's."
"But you're first name is Marisa?"
"Yes it is. I'm really sorry you had to find out like this. I wasn't sure how to tell you. I really wanted to tell you but I can't tell everyone about what I do. We go undercover a lot so it's important my identity doesn't get compromised."
"I promise I won't tell anyone."
"You won't?"
"No, I love you too much to let you get hurt."
"Thanks…. Wait. You love me?"
"Yes I do. These past months have been really great with you and I want to spend more time with you."
"Even after what happened today?"
"Especially after what happened today. All I could think about was keeping you safe."
Marisa let out a relieved sigh. "I wasn't sure you would want anything to do with me after today."
"I don't care about what you really do and that you kept it from me. I understand why you did that. And I'll promise to keep your secret safe."
"And I'll promise that I'll protect you and not let anyone take you again."
"That's good. I really don't hope so. I was no fun."
"I know. I've been taken a couple times already."
"You have?"
"Yeah, comes with the job."
"Oh yes, I know about that. I've got my share of threats from the opposite side when I put a murdered away."
"I guess we have both have jobs with risks."
"Yes we do."
"Thank you for not breaking up with me after today. I don't know what I would have done if we lost you today in the warehouse. I'm really happy to have you in my life."
"And I'm happy to be in yours."
Marisa moved her head closer to Zac and kissed him. Zac moved his arms around her and pulled her closer. He pulled her up so she was straddling him. He moved his hands lower and reached under the hem of her shirt. Marisa moaned against his lips as she felt his hands on her bare skin. Zac turned them around and pushed her down on the couch. He moved his lips down to her neck.
Marisa thought about what to do. Should she proceed with this or should she stop it? It felt so damn good and after what happened today she wanted to feel him close to her. Was she ready to take it a step further? Her body was telling her to go for it but her mind was holding her back. She knew that Zac wouldn't hurt her, not after today and what he said. It was getting hard to think for Marisa with every kiss Zac placed in her neck. She pulled him up and looked in his eyes. She could see in his eyes that he really loved her. At that moment she decided.
"Maybe we should take this to the bedroom," Marisa suggested.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to do anything you're not ready for."
"Yes I'm sure. I'm ready for it."
"Positive?" Zac pushed to make sure this what was she really positive.
"Yes I'm positive. 100%."
"Alright, good."
Zac picked her up and carried her to the bedroom. He gently put her down on the bed and lay down on top of her. He couldn't believe they were finally gonna do this. He wanted to do it for some time now but he understood why Marisa didn't want to.
"If you wanna stop just tell me okay. I don't wanna hurt you."
"I will but I think I'll be okay."
Zac kissed her as his hands made work of the buttons on her shirt. He took it slowly, trying to let Marisa adjust to feeling of his hands on her body. Once the buttons were open he took the shirt off her and threw it on the floor. She looked really good, her body was definitely in good shape. He moved his lips lower and kissed his way down her chest until he was at the valley between her breasts. He moved his lips or her still covered breasts and Marisa arched her back towards him.
Zac took his time with undressing Marisa, he wanted to enjoy this moment. Once she was just wearing her panties Zac stripped out of his clothes too, leaving only his boxer briefs on. He sighed when he zipped down his pants, they were starting to get a little tight. Marisa looked at him and smiled a little when she saw the bulge in the boxer briefs. Zac came back to her and kissed every part of her body.
"Are you okay Mari?" Zac asked before he would remove her panties.
"Yes, I'm fine."
Carefully he removed her panties. Marisa flinched a bit causing Zac to stop. Marisa put her hands on his and helped him to remove her panties. Marisa then proceeded to take Zac's boxer briefs off. She felt him against her hands and grabbed him. Zac enjoyed the movement of her hands but stopped her after a minute. He fished out a condom of his wallet and told Marisa to put it on. Marisa opened the package and rolled it down his length.
"Are you ready Mari?"
"Yes, just be gentle."
"Of course I will."
"Let me help you."
Marisa sat up a bit and kissed Zac and she slowly moved him towards her and inside of her. Marisa let him go as soon as he was inside of her. Marisa cramped up when she felt him sliding inside of her a little further. Zac stopped for a second, letting her get used to him being inside of her. Slowly he pushed himself all the way in. Zac looked Marisa in the eyes as he pushed himself in. It was a bit uncomfortable for Marisa but she looked into Zac's eyes and saw he was being very patient with her and not wanting to hurt her.
"Are you okay Marisa?" Zac asked once he was in all the way.
"Yes, I'm fine. It hurts a bit, but I'm okay. Just move slowly okay."
"I will."
They looked at each other as Zac moved in and out of her. At first it was a bit uncomfortable for Marisa but after a while the pleasure took over. It felt really good to her. She pulled Zac towards her and kissed him and she turned them around. Zac grabbed her hips and helped her to move up and down.
"Let my baby, I need to do this by myself," Marisa told him and Zac removed his hands.
It felt really good to both of them. Zac desperately wanted to turn them around so he could finish her but he decided to let Marisa do it. He couldn't hold off any longer. He helped Marisa to get closer to hers and they came at the same time. Marisa collapsed down on him after her high.
"Oh my god, that was amazing," Marisa breathed out.
"Yes, it was totally amazing."
Once Marisa had enough strength she rolled off of him.
"I'm really glad we did this," Marisa told him as she turned on her side to face him.
"Me too. I'm glad you were ready for this. It was really amazing."
"Yes it was." Marisa looked at him and cupped his cheek. "I love you."
"I love you too."
Zac gave her a kiss and took her in his arms. I didn't take them long to fall asleep.
The next morning Marisa woke up and she felt she was still in Zac's arms. She snuggled in closer before looking at the clock.
"Oh my god." Marisa shook up.
"What's wrong?" Zac asked still half asleep.
"I'm late for work. I've gotta go."
"Can't you be a little late?" Zac asked as he pulled her back into bed.
"I'm already a little late. I'll see you later."
She gave Zac a quick kiss and got dressed. At 9.45am she walked into the bullpen.
"Good morning," Marisa spoke.
"Good morning, you're late Ms. Mathews," Hetty spoke as she appeared behind her.
"I'm sorry Hetty. I overslept."
"Well after last night's events I'll let it slip. Just don't make a habit out of it."
"I won't Hetty."
Hetty left and Marisa sat down at the desk.
"How's Zac?" Sara asked.
"Good. We talked it out yesterday and we're good."
"That's good."
"Yeah. I thought after what happened yesterday he would break up with me but he didn't. He's surprisingly okay with it."
"And what about everything he heard yesterday?" Callen asked.
"Don't worry dad. We talked about that too and he understands why I didn't tell him and he promised to keep it a secret. He wouldn't tell anyone and I believe him."
"Alright."
They finished up paperwork of last night's events. It was a quiet day so they could catch up on some paperwork.
Around 5pm Hetty sent everyone home. Callen and Sara drove home when suddenly there was a big traffic accident.
