Mass Effect Shepard Rise's.

Shepard stood behind Joker's seat with his arms folded watching as the Normandy's systems flashed red.

"You don't have to wait here commander." Joker said as he looked over his shoulder.

John ignored him and continued watching the Normandy controls, footsteps echoed behind him and he glanced over his shoulder to see Tali and Garrus coming through the CIC, they both stood either side of him Garrus spoke first as Tali leaned against Shepard's side.

"Hope Captain Anderson doesn't do anything drastic."

Shepard allowed a small smile to grace his lips "oh I don't know I can think of a few things I would like to do to him." He felt as Tali elbowed him in the side.

"Come on you don't mean that, do you?"

Shepard chuckled briefly "Oh I don't know maybe, maybe not." Shepard turned from Tali and looked back at the Normandy Controls.

Captain Anderson strode with purpose through the Citadel Presidium he ignored almost all the people mingling, he spotted some C-sec officers in front of him so thinking quickly he jumped into a shop to the left of him, and watched as the Turian C-sec officers walked past seemingly ignoring the world around them as they appeared deep in conversation.

Once the coast was clear Anderson walked calmly out the shop and made his way towards Ambassador Udina's office. Anderson walked up the stairs two at a time as he arrived at the door he caught his breath for a moment, after hitting the interface he waited as the door opened inside he saw Udina sitting at his Desk as he strode into the room Udina looked up and snarled at him.

"Anderson I didn't call for you…."

Anderson never gave him the chance to finish as he slammed his right fist into Udina smug face, as Udina fell forward Anderson pushed him away from his desk and laughed as Udina fell out his chair and hit the floor with a thud, turning his attention back to Udina terminal Anderson laughed as he realised Udina had left the terminal completely unlocked, after searching through records Anderson found the code to unlock the Normandy and sent it.

Miranda slowly regained her senses as she did she felt a wave of pain wash over her and her jaw ached, slowly opening her eyes she found herself on the cold Citadel raising her head and struggling to her feet Miranda saw a small pool of blood on the floor where he mouth had been, she forced herself to stand up and looked around.

Finding no danger she pulled up her Omni-tool and activated a Cerberus encrypted com channel and the illusive man's voice came out a small speaker on her wrist watch.

"Miranda you're late, what news do you bring?"

It was obvious to Miranda that the illusive man took a drag of his cigar in between words and sighed "I am afraid that Shepard guessed I was Cerberus and knocked me unconscious, I have only just awakened." The illusive man was silent for a long time and Miranda gritted her teeth "Sir" she asked and when the illusive man did reply his tone was cold.

"Unfortunate I would have thought you over anyone else I could have sent would succeed but I guess not I am disappointed in you Miranda return to me and we will discuss your punishment."

Miranda shivered at the thought but put on her best cold personality "of course sir, I apologise again." Miranda waited as she heard the illusive man take a swig from a glass with ice cubs in.

"See to it that you don't." with that the com went dead but not before a set of directions was sent through to a private Cerberus owned Hanger.

The atmosphere in the Normandy was thick as Shepard waited for the Normandy to be unlocked, he thought he should talk to the crew but when he looked down the CIC they would look to him and nod that would be all he needed, a beep broke this thoughts and he watched as Joker suddenly leaned forward as the controls systems flashed green then went back to their standard orange colour.

"Son of a bitch he did it."

"Get us out of here now joker." He said and breathed a sigh of relief as the clamps holding the Normandy were released and joker backed the ship out the hanger, Joker's hands were a blur as he made the Normandy speed away from the Citadel.

"Looks like we are in the clear commander, shame I was hoping they would send some fighters after us and then I could really see what the Normandy can do."

Shepard Reached across and squeezed Jokers shoulder "get us to Illos Joker and don't be afraid to push the Normandy." With that Shepard made his way down into the CIC and walked up the steps that overlooked the CIC and the galaxy map he looked over to pressly "Pressly open ship wide communication." He waited until pressly gave him a nod and took a deep breath.

"Normandy Crew as you are all aware by now that I have stolen the Normandy, I will take full responsibility when we have stopped Saren and his Geth army. None of you will be punished for my actions I promise you this, to my ground team finish whatever jobs you are doing and get some rest as soon as we reach Illos it will be no stop action, Liara please report to the CIC and work with Pressly to get us to Illos to the rest of the crew I just want to say that it's been an honour."

Shepard made his way down the steps from the CIC leading to the crew deck and med bay he nodded at each person he passed as he headed towards the mess hall and grabbed a quick sandwich. After his meal he went to his cabin and started to clean and check his armour.

He must have been at it for some time as his cabin door opened and a most beautiful sight meet his eyes and he smiled and got up from the table and walked towards it one word slip out his mouth as he placed his arms around the persons waist and pulled her in close.

"Tali."
