Callen hit the brake as hard as he could when he saw the car in front of him crash. He was barely able to stop it from hitting the other car.

"Are you okay?" Callen asked Sara concerned.

"I'm fine G."

"Is the baby okay?"

"I'm fine honey, we're fine."

"Are you sure?" Callen asked as he checked her over.

"I'm fine honey, honestly."

Satisfied that Sara and the baby were okay he got out of the car to see what the damage was. He called 911 before checking on the other car. Callen reached the car that caused the accident. He checked the driver, he was still alive but had a gash on his head. Callen immediately smelled the alcohol on his breath.

"Are you okay sir?" Callen asked.

"I'm fine, just hit my head."

"Can you get out of the car sir?"

"I think so."

The driver got out of the car. As soon as he was out of the car Called zip tied his hands together.

"What the hell?!"

"Federal Agent, you're under arrest for drunk driving, you have the right to remain silent."

A little later LAPD and the ambulances were on scene.

"Agent Callen, I didn't know this was a NCIS case," one of the officers spoke as he walked over to Callen.

"It's not, I just happened to be driving here, was on my way home. Put this one under arrest for DUI, he's all yours."

"Thank you for your assistance. Can I take you statement please?" The officer spoke as another officer led the driver to one of the squad cars.

Callen told the officer what happened. After giving his statement he walked over this car.

"Everything okay?" Sara asked once Callen was in.

"Yes, DUI. Fortunately no fatalities, just some injuries."

"That's good."

Callen drove them home. Sara sat down on the couch as Callen started on dinner.

"Are you sure you two are alright?" Callen asked when he walked back into the living room.

"We're fine G, don't worry about us. I wasn't injured when you hit the brake."

"Are you sure?" Callen asked concerned.

"Come here honey, feel this." Sara took Callen's hand and put it on her stomach. Callen felt the baby move underneath his hand. "The baby wouldn't be doing this is we weren't alright. So don't worry about us honey, we're fine."

Sara gave Callen a kiss. Callen kissed her back. He heard dinner boiling in the kitchen. He quickly kissed her stomach before he walked to the kitchen. Callen cleaned up after dinner.

"I'm gonna go in the tub, wanna join me?" Sara asked.

"Sure, just gotta finish up here and then I'll join you."

Sara was already in the tub when Callen walked in. He smiled when he saw her stomach popping out above the water and foam. Callen took his clothes off. Sara moved forward a bit so Callen could sit behind her. One Callen was seated Sara sat against his back and Callen put his hands on her stomach.

"You know I love you two very much right," Callen spoke to Sara.

"Yes I know. I love you too and I'm sure the baby's gonna love you too."

"I hope so, I hope I'm gonna be a good dad. I have no experiences with babies."

"You'll do fine honey. You're gonna learn soon, I'll be there to help you. We'll be fine. And I'm sure his or her sister would love to help out too."

"Yeah I think so too. I am a bit scared though about becoming a father again, since I wasn't there when Marisa was little."

"You'll do fine honey. You're a great father to Marisa and you'll be a great father to our new baby. Giving birth to Marisa was the most beautiful moment of my life, I so wished you were there with me. Giving her up was the hardest decision I ever had to make, but I had to do it to keep her safe."

"And she turned out really well. She had a wonderful adoptive family. I had the pleasure of knowing them. They were very kind. Marisa had a good childhood with them. I'm glad she got adopted and didn't spend years in the system like I did."

"You turned out fine too G. I know it wasn't always nice, but look at how much you've accomplished. You did really well for yourself."

"Yeah, I just wish I had experience being in a normal family. I will do everything to make sure this baby will get the chance to experience that."

"This baby will get that, I promise you."

Sara turned her head back and gave Callen a kiss.

They stayed in the tub until the water ran cold. Callen helped Sara out of the tub. Callen smiled as he looked at Sara. She looked so beautiful.

"What are you smiling at?" Sara asked when she saw Callen smiling in the mirror.

"I'm just enjoying the view. You look so beautiful."

"I look fat."

"No, you look so beautiful," Callen told her as he hugged her from behind. "You look so beautiful with your baby bump."

"No, I look like a fat cow."

"No honey, you don't. You look so beautiful. I love your little baby bump."

"Little baby bump?! Does this look like a little baby bump?" Sara snapped at him.

Callen knew her hormones were acting up again.

"Honey," Callen turned her in his arm. "You look so beautiful. You're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. And to me you look even more beautiful with this baby bump. Our baby is inside here," Callen spoke to her as he moved his hand over her stomach. "I don't think you look fat at all."

"Really?"

"Really honey, you look beautiful." Callen gave her a kiss.

"Thank you honey."

"You're welcome.""

They got dressed and spent the evening on the couch watching TV before going to sleep.

Tomorrow was Sara and Callen's wedding day. Sara was packing some stuff in the bedroom when Callen joined her. Callen leaned against the doorpost. He couldn't believe they were actually getting married tomorrow. He looked at her with love in his eyes. He felt so lucky to have her in his life again. Sara turned around and caught him staring at her.

"Do you really have to go Sara?"

"Yes, I'm afraid so," Sara replied as she walked up to Callen and put her arms around his neck. "It's a bad omen for the bride and groom to sleep under the same roof the night before the wedding."

"I can't wait to see you walk down the aisle tomorrow."

"Me neither. We're getting married tomorrow," Sara spoke with a smile.

"Yes, we are."

Callen kissed her deeply and passionately. Sara immediately got what Callen's plan was.

"Honey, we can't. Marisa will be here in about 15 minutes."

"So, we'll just be quick. I know that with your hormones that's not a problem," Callen smirked.

Sara playfully smacked his chest but she knew Callen was right. Just that kiss and the thought of making love to Callen got her really turned on already. She kissed him hungrily and quickly took his clothes off. Callen got to work on her clothes. Within a minute they were laying naked on the bed. Callen made sure she was ready before he pushed himself in. Where they usually took their time they were now fast. Callen wasted now time to bring her close to her bliss. Sara enjoyed it when they took their time but this felt so good too.

Within 10 minutes Sara had already come twice. Callen's fast movements were just too good for her and mixed in with the pregnancy hormones it didn't take her long to reach another one. This time Callen joined her. Breathless they collapse down next to each other on the bed.

"Wow, that was really good," Sara uttered.

"Yeah it was. I can't believe you came 3 times in just this short time."

"Pregnancy hormones honey."

"Well hopefully we have many repeats of tomorrow night."

"Oh yes, count on it."

Sara went to wash up and finished packing. She was just done when Marisa knocked on the door.

"Hey Marisa, hey Zac," Callen greeted as he opened the door. Since Sara was staying with Marisa, Zac went over to Callen to spend time with the boys.

"Hey dad," Marisa greeted back as she stepped inside. "Is mom ready?"

"Yes I am," Sara spoke as she walked out of the bedroom.

Callen saw her carrying the bag and quickly walked up to her to take the bag from her. He handed it to Marisa.

"I'll just wait in the car," Marisa spoke and he got out of the house and Zac followed her.

"It's only for one night G. Tomorrow you'll see me walking down the aisle and we'll be husband and wife."

"I can't wait." Callen kissed her deeply. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"I'll see you tomorrow Zac," Marisa told him.

"Yes, I can't wait to see you in your bridesmaids dress. I'm sure you look really beautiful."

"Thanks, you'll look good in your suit too."

Zac gave Marisa a kiss. "Call me if you need me."

"I will."

Marisa gave Zac one more kiss as Sara came out.

"All ready to go," Sara spoke.

Zac gave Marisa one more quick kiss before she got in the car and drove off. Just as they drove off Sam, Deeks and Eric arrived. Deeks brought the beer, Sam the pizza and Eric brought some chips.

They guys all went inside and ate their pizzas.

When Marisa arrived back at her place Kensi, Nell and Michelle were already waiting for them. They went inside and ate some pizzas as well.

Callen and Sara both enjoyed their last night as unmarried people. Sara looked at her dress one more time before going to sleep. She was sleeping in Marisa's bed while Kensi, Marisa, Nell and Michelle slept in the living room on air mattresses.

'Goodnight G, I miss you, can't wait for tomorrow,' Sara texted to Callen.

Callen looked over to his phone on the nightstand as it chirped. He smiled when he saw it was a text from Sara.

'Goodnight Sara, I miss you too. I know, me neither. I love you. Tell the little baby goodnight for me too.'

'I will. I love you too. Goodnight.'

'Goodnight.'

Callen stared at the ceiling and he thought back to the first time he saw Sara.

….

He had just arrived in Mexico for a new case. He was part of a task force together with some other agents from a different FBI office. He walked into the other FBI office along with another FBI agent from his office. He walked into the conference room and was stunned by the looks of the female agent standing there. She looked very gorgeous. Callen shook the thought of and focused on the briefing. Callen got partnered up with Sara. They worked together on the case for weeks before they were sent in undercover. They had to pretend to be a couple. Callen and Sara got along great. Callen liked the idea of having to go undercover with her. He had really started to like her and he felt that she felt the same way about him.

They had been undercover for 3 weeks now. They had grown close and they worked well as partners. They had finally gotten some more intel and they started to earn the trust of the big man. They went with him to one of his deals. It turned sideways and they almost got killed. Callen and Sara got back to their undercover house and they both took a shower. They sat on the couch as Sara opened a bottle of wine and poured them two glasses.

"Should we pull out?" Callen suggested. "It's getting dangerous. We barely escaped this time."

"I don't know. I don't know if we have enough evidence to take them down."

"Yeah probably not."

"I just hope this end soon. It's getting too dangerous."

"Don't worry. I'll protect you."

"I'm really glad I got partnered up with you. You're a good agent."

"Likewise."

"How did you join the FBI?"

"I've been in foster care all my life. When I turned 18 I got out and I joined the FBI. I thought who'd better make an agent that someone who didn't have anyone."

"You have no one?" Sara asked shocked. "You don't have any family?"

"Nope, I don't know them. I've been in foster care since the age of 4. I've been in 37 foster homes."

"37?" Sara asked shocked. "From the time you were 4 to the time you were 18?"

"Yes, but you don't have to feel sorry for me, it's just the way that it is."

"Still it must have been hard sometimes."

"Yes, some houses were better than others, but it's okay. I've learn to deal with it."

"I'm sorry," Sara spoke as she put her hand on Callen's leg.

Callen looked her in the eye. Before he knew it he was kissing her. Sara kissed him back. They had kissed a couple of times undercover but never like this. Their kiss became hotter and more passionate. Before either one of them realized it Callen was leading her towards the bedroom. Clothes were being discarded as they walked. Hours later they lay tangled up basking in the afterglow.

A week later the case was finished. They got who they wanted so Callen and Sara returned back to the office.

"Can I buy you a drink? To celebrate the good outcome," Callen spoke.

"Sure, if you're buying."

They took a cab to a local bar. They had a lot to drink. They were laughing and drinking. Callen hadn't felt this happy in a long time. When they were in the cab on the way back to Sara's place Callen couldn't keep his hands off of her. They paid the cab driver and quickly walked inside. They made love for hours.

The next morning Callen got orders to come back to his FBI office. Since Sara was still asleep he wrote her a note before he left. He hated leaving her like this. He knew when he started this case that eventually he had to go back. He just hoped that he had a bit more time with her.

When Sara woke up an hour later Callen was gone. She found the note on her nightstand.

'Sorry Sara, but I've been called back to my FBI office. I really enjoyed working with you and spending time with you. I hope we see each other again. I hope we can keep in touch.

I love you.'

Sara got teary eyed as she read that. She couldn't believe Callen was gone just like that. She enjoyed working together with him. They had a real connection. He was the best partner she ever had.

….

Thinking back now Callen regretted not going after her or finding her after they lost contact. He could have been there when Marisa was born. He was just happy that she was back in his life again. They got a second chance. Finally after some hours Callen fell asleep.

Sara was up early the next morning. She stroked her belly as she felt the baby move. She thought back to the time she discovered she was pregnant with Marisa.

Callen was gone for almost 5 weeks now when Sara started feeling sick. She never felt like this before. She began to think what was wrong. Then it dawned on her. Callen and she hadn't used protection when they had sex and her period was late this moment by a couple of days. She walked to the store and bought 3 pregnancy tests. As soon as she got home she took the tests. She was shocked to see all 3 tests turning blue. She was pregnant! With G. Callen's baby! She had no way how to tell Callen. She couldn't reach him. How was she going to do this? She had no idea how to raise a child, let alone by herself. She wanted Callen here with her. She got a doctor's appointment and he confirmed that she was indeed 6 weeks pregnant. She didn't know what do to. She had just gotten a promotion at work. She was single and an FBI agent. Not the best combination to become a mother. She thought about what to do, but she couldn't have an abortion. It wouldn't seem right. She decided to keep it and she would see when the baby got here if she should give it up for adoption.

Those next 7 months were tough on her. She hoped Callen would appear in her life again and that they would be a family together. 2 weeks before her due date she went into labor. She prayed Callen would walk into the hospital room. But he never did. Luckily for her, her mother was there. She helped her through the delivery. Sara cried with joy when she finally held her little girl in her arms. She so wished Callen could see this.

She doubted for a while what to do with Marisa. Should she keep her or should she give her up for adoption? She was the sweetest little thing she had ever seen.

When Marisa was 2 months old Sara caught a new case. She was in danger, there were people after her. She couldn't risk them getting Marisa because of her. She put some things in a box for Marisa so she would know where she came from is she was old enough. She wrote a letter and put it in the box. Together with the box and everything she owned for Marisa she brought her to and orphanage nearby.

"Please find her a good family," Sara spoke as she handed the baby off.

This was the hardest decision she ever had to make. She didn't want to leave the baby but this was the best thing for her now. If she had kept Marisa she would be in constant danger. At least here she would be save and get a real family who cared for her just as much. She gave Marisa one more kiss before she walked away. When she was in her car she couldn't stop the tears from flowing. She would miss her daughter so much, but she couldn't stand the thought of Marisa getting hurt because of her.

Sara snapped back to reality when there was a knock on her door. Marisa walked in with some breakfast. Sara was glad and proud of the woman Marisa had grown up to be. From what she heard from Callen she had a lovely adoptive family. She was glad that her family was back together again.

"Here's your breakfast mom, when you're done there will be a hot bubble bath waiting for you," Marisa spoke.

"Thank you sweetie."

…..

Sam woke up. He walked into the kitchen and got the coffee going. He walked to Callen's room to wake him up.

"G," Sam spoke as he knocked on the door but there was no answer. "G, it's time to wake up." Still no answer. Sam opened the door and was shocked to see that Callen wasn't there.
