A/N: Let's see if we can repeat last nights success. Managing to complete another chapter was like getting a big load off my back.

It's not because I see this as a task, I just think that this story deserves the time to be continued and in a way that'll make it stay enjoyable, so I work hard to make it so.

Please keep reviewing, it is what is keeping me at the keyboard.

Samhan: If I didn't know better, I'd say you're jealous of him. Haha.

My imagination is running me wild, so I would have multiple guesses at what you meant her head is covering.. But let's leave them out of this for the moment being. I believe whatever situation they get into, they'll somehow be able to untangle themselves. Even if it involves getting a few scars along the way.

IdaAmeanDada: I'm glad and thank you. It's gonna be tough showing the relation between them, but somehow I think it'll become natural once I get their parents to act slightly similar to them.

Weird Beard: Thank you for the kind words. I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way about her. She might seem like the true devil at times, but it also creates some quite interesting possibilities. It can even be quite funny. So I do not think less of her, when the others are much nicer. I wrote about her in a past chapter. Read it if you like.

And I'm thankfully for the feedback on the profiles, it shows me that it isn't a total waste of time.

Disclaimer: I don't own Love Hina or any of the characters, Ken Akamatsu does. Damn you! *Raises fist in the air*

Timeline of Love Hina: Keitaro Urashima has already failed twice in his entry exams to get into Tokyo University. Naru hasn't graduated Highschool yet, so she is spending most her time either at school or in her room, studying with Keitaro. Last month they both passed their center exams, after Keitaro had fled, when he failed the mock exam again. It's the 1st of February 1999 and Valentines Day is coming up...

- In the Urashima's living room -

Emerging from the hallway was Keitaro's mother. She looked kinda groggy, perhaps from just waking up. She did seem tired, so it was not totally impossible.

Behind her stood Kanako, obviously being the one fetching her out of bed to resolve the situation currently unfolding before them.

It didn't take more than a second after spotting them, before Ms. Urashima reacted to the scene she was witnessing in the room she was entering. She snapped out of her half-awaken state and shoot them a glare. Not looking very pleased, she advanced into the room and went to confront the young couple.

Ms. Urashima coughed before speaking. "And what do you think you two are doing?"

At the sound of her voice, both jumped in surprise and turned their attention to her.

Naru not really realising who she was talking to, just spoke her mind without realising the futility of her bluntness. "What do you mean?"

Now having their undevided attention, at the request of Naru she elaborated. "I mean, what are you doing practically making love in the open space of this house?"

It's not like she minded people expression affection towards one another, but to unfold in an act of love in the middle of a living room when others were at home, was simply unspoken of. It was repulsive even.

Naru was lost for words, but got up from her position and straightened up in a sitting position. Hoping to evade the question, Keitaro greeted his mother.

"Hi mom, looking great as ever I see."

He got up to bow to his mother, almost causing Naru to freak out and jump out of her seat, then making the same gesture as him.

"I apologize for my rudeness ms. Urashima, I'm sorry to have caused you trouble." Naru said, having fully regretted what she had said just moments ago.

Ms. Urashima gave her a doubtful look, but just nodded.

"All is forgiven. Now, how about introducing yourself? Or I would need to have my son do that?" She asked, seeming aware of a few more details then they would've imagined. "After all, wouldn't it be most appropriate having my son introduce me to his betrothed?"

They both looked at her dumbstruck. Keitaro thought things through for a moment. Of course Kanako could have told her, but she wasn't one to run around spreading news. Usually she just kept it to herself. Nothing else really came to his mind, so he just resolved to asking her.

"How did you.."

"Know?" Ms. Urashima finished his question and answered straight away. "A lucky guess. I got the hint from the impression of seeing you two together." She crossed her arms and waited a second. She spoke again, when she didn't see a reaction from either of them within the next couple of seconds. "So?"

Keitaro shook himself out of whatever bafflement he was in and cut straight to the chase. "Yeah, sorry! Mother, this is Naru Narusegawa, my fiancée." He said and put an arm around Naru. Naru smiled at him, taking his hand in hers.

Ms. Urashima gave him a small nod and smiled slightly. Keitaro also made sure to also introduce Naru to his mother.

"And Naru, this is my mother."

Naru bowed her head again and said. "A pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise" was Ms. Urashima's nonchalant response. But before they got a chance to exchange any other words, Keitaro interrupted.

"So, where is dad at?" He asked his mother, not having seen him around yet. It seemed unlike him, as he spend most days off at home.

Ms. Urashima sighed slightly, before answering. "Well, for once he is still at work, doing overtime. If you had called beforehand, I'm sure he would have stayed home to greet you. But you know he won't be returning before tonight."

Keitaro laughed a nervous chuckle, while holding his head. "Yeah, sorry about that. It was decided rather rashly, but thank you for taking us in on such short notice. I don't think we'll mind staying a little longer to wait for him."

"And we won't mind having you. Anyway, it's about time we get something prepped for lunch." Ms. Urashima said, while turning about to go to the kitchen. But figuring she should probably learn more about her future daughter-in-law, she requested that Naru helped her.

"How about lending me a hand Ms. Narusegawa?"

Naru was happy about how well their relationship seemed to be developing. It made it a lot easier with all the marriage stuff, already putting a lot of stress on her. Not that she minded, it was for her handsome Keitaro after all.

"Sure!" She replied and followed her to the kitchen, to help prepare lunch.

Meanwhile Kanako saw her opportunity to grab a hold of her brother and indulge in a deeper conversion.

"Brother, do you want to take a walk?" Considering that she probably couldn't keep his attention for long, while they stayed in the house with Naru, she deemed it best to take him outside for a while.

Keitaro agreed with a kind smile, not minding to exchange a few words with his younger sister. After all, they didn't meet that often anymore.

"Yeah, I'll just tell them we're leaving." He said and headed for the kitchen as well, after telling Kanako to go on ahead. "I'll be right there, just go wait for me by the door."

Getting her approval, he continued.

Neither of them minded that they left for a short while, as long as they were back for lunch. Naru demanded for a kiss before he left, to which he just chuckled and kissed her quickly on the lips. Promising they'd be back in time, he left for the door, where Kanako awaited him and linked arms with him before dragging him along.

- In the Evening: at the Urashima Residence -

The rest of the day, Naru helped Ms. Urashima with preparing lunch and a few other things, while having a good chat with her. Though it didn't escape Naru, that she was being evaluated somehow, since she caught Ms. Urashima in taking a few glances at her. It made her kinda uneasy and made her think about things like, What if Keitaro felt like this, when they were at her house?

Meanwhile Kanako and Keitaro catched up and discussed the past and future. She even went as far to ask what plans Keitaro had with Naru. Such as for the wedding and if they intended to move together when they get accepted into college. Of course this was just her being optimistic. It wasn't yet determined whether he could actually make it that far, with his knowledge in the academic subjects.

Keitaro just told her, that it was something they had to decide together when the time was right. In reality he couldn't really fathom anything, that was more than a couple weeks ahead, right now. He was lucky to have such a dependable fiancée, who helped him take things gradually.

A/N: A little explanation for why I keep doing these review-answers: I want to you let you guys know what I'm thinking, besides from just my usual one-sided opinion. The questions or facts you provide, helps me answer some things that may confuse or it may even add more to what I'm thinking personally and give you a more in-depth view of what I have in store for the story. If any of you simply skip these parts of my story, I don't mind. The story is still connected, but just keep in mind that there is a sort of "bonus content" in what I write in the A/N.

I'm sorry for the slighty shorter chapter this time. I'm in the middle of my mock exams and I also didn't feel like entering anything new in this chapter (the evening), afraid that it would become unconnected. But I'm happy with the way it turned out. We got to see Keitaro's mother! - even though not really in detail yet.

NOTICE: Oh yeah! BTW, we have another set of unnamed parents. Since we're already pretty deep into the Urashima's Residence act, I think me might have to keep them that way. Mr. and Ms. Urashima has gotta have to do.

I didn't say this last time, but please review! My passion explodes as I read your thoughts! I promise you, I will take my time to read them.

My opinion on the Hinata Characters

Mr. and Ms. Urashima:

We're beginning to lack in character numbers, with each passing chapter! So for now, I will cover Keitaro and Kanako's parents. But please sent me your ideas on who I should do a profile on next.

Inspired by you reviewers, I now have a somewhat firm idea of how I want the parents to be.

Ms. Urashima's the usual woman of the family, very traditional in her ways and very family orientated. Though she will not just accept anyone into her family. They have to be able to fulfill the traditional japanese standards, to some point at least. But most important of all, they have to wish for it, for one reason or another. She won't accept anyone who can't fulfill those criteria.

Unlike her, Mr. Urashima does not have the same expectations. In a situation like Keitaro and Naru's, as long as they love each other, he will accept Naru with open arms. Of course he would still remain critical to whether or not her personality is pleasant.

Besides that, he is a man of the law and also does not accept innapropriate or unpleasant behavior towards others. He might have a warm heart, but he is firm and unshakable in anything he decides for. Though it's not like he's a man who upholds discipline with iron fist, but he values standard decency.

Should you happen to offend the Urashima's, pray to that they will forgive you. They cherish their honour and you better do the same.
