Chapter 23
"So I got a callback to NYADA," Rachel smiled when she saw Kurt down the hall. "Another one."
"Have you told them you're pregnant yet?" Kurt sighed and sprayed his hair with hairspray. "Because it would be smart to just get it over with now before you get to your audition and they tell you they can't accept your application because you're pregnant."
"I'm not telling them at all," Rachel shook her head and opened her locker next to his, pulling her phone out of her backpack.
Kurt sighed and shut his locker, looking over at her. "What are you gonna do if you don't get in?"
"I don't know," Rachel looked down. "I really want this."
"And so do I, but you need to face it, Rach. If you keep that baby, your chances of getting into NYADA ever are slim to none. Mostly none."
"I know," She sighed and shut her locker again, hugging Kurt. "I don't know how I'm going to do this."
"I do, Rachel, you're the strongest, most talented person I know. You're going to be fine, even if you don't go to NYADA. And Finn is always going to be here for you whether he's two hours away or just down the street. We're all going to support you no matter what you do," Kurt smiled as he hugged her. "I love you Rachel Berry."
"I love you, too," She nodded, attempting to smile.
Quinn walked down the hall and stopped when she was by Rachel and Kurt. "So you won. I've decided not to go to Yale so Finn is all yours now. I'm thinking of Ohio State or something not nearly as glamorous as that."
"What? You're not going to Yale?" Kurt asked, confused as he pulled away from Rachel.
"After a lot of praying, I decided to decline the acceptance and stay in Ohio." Quinn sighed. "So congratulations, Rachel; you got what you wanted." She rolled her eyes a little before turning away and walking down the hall.
"Whoa, what's wrong?" Finn stopped Quinn when he saw the sad expression on her face.
"Nothing, everything is fine," She lied.
Finn shook his head and looked away from her, noticing Kurt and Rachel down the hall. "You're lying to me. Stop it."
"I'm not going to Yale; everything's going to be fine. Rachel is going to NYADA and you're going to UConn and I'm staying here and going to Ohio State. So now you can be happy with her over there," Quinn looked down, tears forming. "I just can't handle the pressure of it being my fault if you two break up."
"No, you can't do that, it's not fair," Finn shook his head in disbelief and Quinn refused to look back up at him. "Fine," He sighed and walked down the hall to where Rachel and Kurt were standing, zoning in on Rachel. "This wasn't your idea; tell me that you didn't know about this."
"Finn, stop," Quinn said strictly from behind him.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Rachel said defensively.
"Stop lying to me," Finn sighed. "I know all about Sam and that night he slept over at your house."
"Who told you that?" She asked, a hint of a lie building in her head. "That's none of your business. You're the one that had Quinn sleep over at your house that night last week."
"Nothing happened, Rach; she was upset about something and she needed me there," Finn frowned.
"She could've gone over to Santana's, Brittany's, Ali's, Emily's, or pretty much any other cheerleader's house. Why did she have to be at yours?" Rachel rolled her eyes.
Finn looked over at Quinn who was nervously looking at the floor. "I can't tell you that but…"
"Unbelievable," Rachel shook her head and opened her locker to get out her books, slamming it shut afterwards and starting to walk down the hall.
"My dad hasn't talked to me in a year and my mom thinks it's my fault my parents got divorced. I haven't told anyone because it's embarrassing but Finn found out that night that I kissed him so he was the only person I had to talk to. Are you happy now?" Quinn took a deep breath and let her tears loose, running off the other way.
"Wow, I had no idea…" Rachel started, shaking her head.
"It's okay, Rach; I understand," Finn sighed and pulled her into his arms, kissing her head. "I love you, you can't doubt me."
"I'm sorry."

Quinn sat in the supply closet on the floor, bawling into her knees as she waited for the final bell to ring. She had a friend in each class that could cover for her. She couldn't stop once she started crying but she tried to calm down when in between classes so nobody would hear her. It was during fifth period when there was a knock on the door and somebody came in. "Quinn? What's wrong?" Puck sat next to her and she just collapsed into his arms as she cried. He ran his hand through her hair and told her to calm down and tell him what was going on.
"Shhh," He held her like that for almost 15 minutes before she finally calmed down enough to talk. "Tell me what's wrong."
"I told everyone the truth about my parents and now everyone hates me. Rachel's never going to speak to me again and Finn is probably pissed at me for telling the truth."
"What happened with you and Finn?" He sighed. He could feel her tears soaking up his shirt when he asked. "I know something happened, I have a sixth sense for it."
Quinn shook her head and just cried harder. "Don't tell anyone."
Finn sat down next to her, handing her a cup of coffee. "Thanks," She smiled weakly.
"So what did she say exactly?" He asked, nodding a little after she thanked him.
Quinn shrugged. "She said something like 'it's all your fault he never comes back, Quinn."
"Look at me," He sighed, lifting up her chin so she was facing him. "You're beautiful. You're amazing and you're inspiring. You deserve the absolute best, Quinn; nothing less than that."
"Finn, stop. You have a girlfriend, you can't stay stuff like that to me anymore…"
"Why? Because Rachel never said that I couldn't cheer you up when you're upset and I'm just being honest," Finn frowned.
"Well stop," Quinn shook her head. "Please."
"Do you love me, Quinn? I mean as your friend?" Finn asked. They were sitting close on the couch, only inches apart.
"Of course I do; what kind of a question is that?" She smiled slightly before finally meeting his eyes as he leaned in and kissed her. She grinned and felt absolutely awful for being there in that moment but she couldn't find the strength to pull away. And it felt so good. They both had closed their eyes and so when they both opened them, they pulled away at the exact same moment. "Wow."
"You still taste like strawberries," He smiled a little.
"What about Rachel?" She sighed. "Finn, we can't…"
"Rachel is Rachel, okay? And she's at my house with Kurt and Tina right now so it's not a big deal. It's one kiss, Quinn."
"So Rachel knows?" Puck frowned. She just shook her head. "And you're not going to tell her?"
"It was just one kiss," She sighed and wiped her tears away.
Okay let me start by saying please don't get mad about the Quinn and Finn kiss. There will still be Finchel endgame like I promised so don't worry. Also Finchel are happy at the end of this chapter so I'm doing a time skip to regionals in my next chapter and hopefully I'll be done soon so I can start with the next story in the series (which is a Fuinn story with lots of Finchel). I hope you liked this chapter and please review or PM :D
