Chapter 8 - A white Dress

*2 days later - at Sakura*

"Home...I am finally home. With no Akatsuki to deal with, with no problems at all, with no...Itachi." Sakura was laying on her bed. She was dressed in a white dress knee-length with laces at the end. By the bed was a bag with everything she bought a while ago to make diner. She turned around to face the window and looked at the sky. It was afternoon and the sun was up and shining. "Uchiha Itachi...In a couple of days you made me rethink everything. Just what you're planning? Traping me than letting me escape. What the hell is going in your mind?"

*knock knock* could be heard at the window she was just staring at.

"Ino?" she mumbled realising only after a few moments what she was looking at. She opened the window to hear what she had to say.

"Hey forehead. How are you?" she asked landing on Sakura's bed.

"How I am? Ino, what the hell are you doing in mid-day jumping from roof to roof in your 3 month's pregnancy? For God's sake are you in your right mind?" she yelled at her.

"I just wanted to tell you that Tsunade-sama is looking for you. It seems she's bothered by something and she wants to see you as soon as possible." said Ino in a hurry.

"Calm down Ino. Ok I will go now. Want me to accompany you to your house? Where is Sasuke, I thought he was with you?" Sakura asked.

"I think he is at the training grounds. He should be back by now but I don't want to bother him with taking care of me. I am a woman and you know that I can take care of myself." she said smiling at the pink-haired girl. Sakura saw in Ino's eyes a glitering she had never seen before. She happy, and Sakura was gratefull that her friend was content with her life.

"Nee Sakura. Do you...still hate Sasuke?" Ino had to ask her otherwise she wouldn't be calm about this.

"Ino...It's not that I hate him, really. But you have to understand that...I cannot treat him like before. He did something unforgivable to me."

"Then what about his brother?" she glanced ad Sakura for a bit.

"Where do you want to get?" Sakura asked her friend.

"From what I heard, though I am not sure about this, Itachi recounciled with Sasuke. You do know what that means right?" Ino looked at her friend with questioning eyes.

"I knew this will eventually happen sooner or later." replied Sakura. She looked over the window to see Sasuke there. "They are brothers, Ino. This is how it should be."

"Oh Sasuke, you're back?" Ino said smiling.

"I went home but no one was there so I figured you'd be either here or at the shop. Sakura..." he looked at Sakura and nodded. "About Itachi..."

"Forget about it. I don't want to know anything. It's your problem and if you solved it the better. Next time take care of each other cause it's only you two now." she said her eyes showing everything but happiness. She was sad and Ino could see that. "I'm leaving now. See you later." she said in a hurry and left by the window.

"She's stubborn, isn't she?" Ino asked looked at the back of her friend. "Yes."

"So they reconciled huh?" Sakura was walking down the road towards Hokage's office. On her way she saw some kids having fun playing with a ball. A few seconds later a child started crying and Sakura went to see what was wrong only to see that he hurt himself by falling on the ground. She whispered him shooting words to calm down so that she could heal him.

"Haruno-sama..." he said.

"Stay still." she smiled at him. "This is gonna take only a bit. And be carefull next time." she said to the other children while healing the little boy.

"Hai, onee-chan." they smiled at her and went back to play with their ball except the one who was hurt. He stared at her for a while.

"Haruno-sama..." he tried to say something to her.

"What is it?" she asked him.

"You look a lot like my mommy. She would sometimes scold me because I often hurt myself but...you remind me of her." he smiled at her and ran off to his friends. She didn't expect this.

In a far away distance Sakura heard some screams and he saw some people gathered by the well. She was also curious and so she went to see what was going on only to see that the one getting the entire attention was no other than Uchiha Itachi. Even though he was cornered he looked only in one direction. Both Sakura and Itachi kept staring at each other for a while before Sakura turned around and left. The white dress Sakura was wearing fluttered as she was walking away from that place. She wanted to be as far as she could be from there.

"She's...beautiful." thought Itachi to himself when he saw her in that white dress in the daylight. Her long pink hair and those green emerald eyes accentuated her petite beautiful face. But somehow he could observe in her earlier glance sadness.

"Uchiha-sama, where are you going?" one of the girls yelled.

"I have some unsolved matters with someone. Let me through." he only said while trying to get out of the crowd. "Where is she? She couldn't have gone too far." was Itachi thinking.

"So I was right. Of course he would have come back after making up with Sasuke." thinking about this matter she didn't hear nor see Itachi right in front of her. When she realised he was there she stopped.

"What do you want?" she asked.

"You're still having this attitude? After letting you escape?" Itachi wasn't smiling though Sakura thought he would in his mind.

"Letting me escape? Heh. How can you be so arrogant? Oh, I forgot that all Uchiha's are the same. Don't mess with me Uchiha. I've had enough of you already." Itachi was so fast that Sakura couldn't stop him when he pinned her to a tree.

"Listen here, Haruno. I know that you hate Sasuke for what he's done but it doesn't involve me. Now, could you tell me why you hate me so much?" he looked her straight in the eyes. But Sakura averter hers.

"I don't...hate you. But you already forgot what you did to me a few days ago, or should I remind you?" Sakura remembered the night when Sasuke killed her baby and afterwards the night when Itachi tortured her. Her eyes began to tear before she turned her head to the side to avoid Itachi's gaze.

"You don't understand anything." said Sakura trying to break free out of his grasp.

"How can I understand if all you say makes no sense? Ever since you came, you never said anything concrete. I don't know if you're doing this intentionally but you should know beforehand that people change. Sasuke also changed so why don't you chase after him?" Itachi couldn't stop himself only when it was already too late. Sakura was shocked at what he said and was about to burst.

"Wha...Chase after Sasuke? AND WHY THE HELL WOULD I DO THAT? I don't like him. Not after what happened. He killed my baby Itachi. He killed..." Sakura was crying and Itachi for some reason couldn't bear to see her like that. "All I did was for uou not to get hurt. And make up with him. I'm not going to say anything else. My life doesn't concern you anymore." Sakura managed to escape his grasp and ran away from him. "Stay away from me."

"DAMN IT!" Itachi punched the tree where Sakura was just then. "She's..."

"You should stop it, brother." Sasuke appeared out of nowhere and was staring at him.

"Hn." was all Itachi said.

"Fine. She didn't tell you anything, did she?" Sasuke came closer to him and began to talk. "Sakura...You like her?" this question took Itachi by surprise. He looked at his little brother with tightened eyes. "No. She's just..."

"All this time you tried to get her to open to you...but have you ever opened to her? While you were in Akatsuki have you ever given her a chance to see the real you? You want to know her reasons as for why she did those actions, yet you don't want to let her too close to you. C'mon Itachi. I thought you were smarter than this." he kept looking at his older brother but seeing he won't admit his feelings he just said one thing. "If you really like her...better talk to her regarding this matter because I'm not the one she likes. And in the end she has to tell you the real truth."

"Real truth? What are you talking about?" Itachi asked.

"You know that I did something unforgivable to her, so it's better if she told you this. Try to win her again like you did last time." said Sasuke.

"Last time? Did I forget something? Yes. I always felt there was something I forgot but i could never figure out. Just what is that thing?" Itachi thought to himself.

Ok. I really need to know your oppinion on this chapter as I am thinking if I should continue it. As for the storyline I'm sorry if you don't like it. I'm trying my best to improve my writing and details. Been working on this. Please R&R.
