Princess Light Wishes

Two guards together

This afternoon was a special day for Nightwing today he was going to spend the rest of the day with his father. His mother had to go to The Crystal Empire with his sister for some princess stuff. Which he wasn't really paying attention what his mother was saying he was just looking forward to spend some time with his father.

"Bye Mom, Bye Sis" said Night as he waved at the train that left for the empire

"Have fun!" said Flash as he waved with his son

"Bye, honey!" said Twilight as she waved back at her husband and son

"Bye" said Light as she copied her mother

"So Dad what are we going to do?" ask Nightwing with a big smile

"I have tones of things we can do" said Flash as he returned his smile "Let's go"

Flash and Nightwing flew back to Ponyville to start their exciting day but before they cloud start they were interrupted by a unicorn.

"Hey, Flash" shout a pony

"Oh stay here okay" ask Flash he walk towards the unicorn pony

"Where you're going?" ask Nightwing

"I'm just going to help this pony it won't take long" said Flash he trotted towards the unicorn "I'll be back in a flash"

"Okay!" said Nightwing as he just flew towards a cloud

Nightwing waited for what seems to be hours when suddenly a pony smash into him he got up to see Skyangle

"Skyangle!" said Night in a surprise tone

"Hey Nighty!" said Skyangle as she punch him in the shoulder "It`s been a while"

"Not really we just saw each other a few days ago" said Night while rubbing his shoulder

"Anyways why are you here?" ask Skyangle as she casually changed the subjects

"I`m here with my father" said Night as he look down the cloud to see his father who was still talking with the unicorn

"Awesome! Father and Son time! I did that with my mom last week" said Skyangle

"What did you do?" ask Night

"She showed me what a Wonderbolts does in training but I already knew about it" said Skyangle

"But you still spent time with her" said Night

"I know it was nice to be together" said Skyangle as she thought about that day "Anyways I need to go" as she opened her wings

"Alright see you at school!" said Night as he waved at her

"See ya!" shouted Skyangle as she flew off

"So who was that mare?" as Night turn around to see his father "Oh she my friend form school" as he still glancing at the direction she flew off

"You like her" said Flash as he put his wing onto his son

"What! No I don't we`re just friends!" objected Nightwing while blushing

"I know that look! I had the same look when I met your mother" said Flash as he remembered the very first day he saw Twilight

"Not really you met mom after she came back from that strange world" said Nightwing

"I fell in love if your mother when I saw her picture in a newspaper" explain Flash "Now come on let's continue our father and son day"

"Okay" said Night as he followed his father off the cloud "can we see the headquarters?"

"We can't we don't have time" said Flash "But we can go to the one at Ponyville"

"Okay!" shouted Nightwing in a excited tone

Nightwing and Flash arrived at the royal guard's branches

"Wow!" said Night as he looks around inside the building "Look! Dad it's you!" as he pointed at a picture with his hoof

"That's the wall of honors" explain Flash as he walk up towards the wall that was decorated with pictures of many famous royal guards "This is where they put the best guards and are honored"

"Wow! And your right next to uncle Shining" said Nightwing as he stared at the two pictures "Why?"

"Well because we got promote to high ranks and to become princes! Well I think its one reasons" said Flash as he thought about it for a while

"I want to be on that wall!" shouted Nightwing as he jump up and down

"I'm sorry son but you can`t" said Flash

"Why?" ask Nightwing as he felt tears coming

"A prince can't be a royal guard" explain Flash while looking at his Son "It`s the law you get protect the royals when you are one"

"Okay" said Night as he lowered his ears with a sad look on his face

"I'm sorry, Son" said Flash as he put his hoof around his son

Flash stared at his son with sadness knowing that he never could be a guard when he suddenly got a brightly idea.

"I know! Come with me" said Flash as he started to walk towards a hallway

"Alright" said Night as he slowly followed his father

"Stay here okay" ask Flash as he stood in front of a door

"Alright, Dad" said Nightwing as his mind thought about what his father said

"Hello Sir" said a unicorn guard as he greeted Flash

"Hello I have a request to make" ask Flash as he walk up towards the young stallion

"Wait! Your Flash Sentry!" shouted the pony as he stood up and smiled "I can't believe it! I just met Flash Sentry!"

"I didn't know I was famous?" said Flash as he look surprise

"Oh! You are very famous I heard about all of your adventures" said the pony as he spoke in an excited tone "What can I do for you?"

"I would like an armor but a colt size" requested Flash with a big smile

"Yes Sir! What rank?" Ask the pony

"Captain" answered Flash

"Perfect timing we`ve gooten new armour but some where too small and I think it could fit a yound colt?! I'll get it down right away and show it to you!" said the pony as he ran downstairs to the supply room

The unicorn returned with a small armour which might fit Nightwing

"Here you are!" said the pony as he place the armour onto the table

"Perfect! But it seems slightly big" said Flash

"Oh! Don`t worry I can make it fit" said the pony as he took back the armour "But it will take a while I can send it when its done"

"You don`t have to do all of this" insisted Flash

"No! No! I don`t mind at all it gives me something to do" said the pony as he smiled at him

"Thank you" said Flash as he walks out of the door

"Hey dad" said Night as his father exited the room

"Come on son our day not over" said Flash

Flash bought his son to Sugarcube corner for some donuts

"What kind of donuts you want, Son?" ask Flash as he stood in front of Mrs. Cakes

"A chocolate donuts with sparkles, please" ask Night as he pointed with his hoof

"Alright" smiled Flash

Flash and Nightwing ate their donuts with some hot coco after they delicious snack they both went home where a box was waiting box them.

"What this?" ask Nightwing as glance to his father

"Open it" smiled Flash

Nightwing used his magic to open the box as he removed the lid his jaw drop and his eyes widen.

"OMG! It's an armor!" shouted Nightwing with excitement "And its captain! It this real?!"

"Of course son I had it custom made just for you" said Flash as he smiled with joy

"Oh dad! thank you!" shouted Night as he ran towards his father and hugged him

"It's my pleasure Night" said Flash as he hugged him back and kiss him on the head "Go ahead and try it on"

"Okay!" said Night as he rushed up stairs to put his new armor

"We're home!" shouted Twilight and Light as they both walk in the house

"Hey, hon" greeted Flash as he kiss her on the lips "How was the princess thing?"

"It's was fun, Dad" said Light as she ran up towards her father and hug him

"Where Nightwing?" ask Twilight as she wonder why her son wasn't there

"Oh you'll see" grinned Flash "Our royal guard are you ready?"

"Captain Nightwing at your service" said Night as he trotted down the stairs with his new armour

"Wow! look at my little guard" said Twilight as she walk up to him and gave him a hug

"Wow! little bro you look like just like a royal guard" smiled Light as she look at her brother "And a captain too"

"Dad got it just for me" said Night as he smiled proudly at his father

"We're very protected now" smiled Twilight "We have two royal guards to protect us from danger"

"Yes we are" agreed Light

"Thank you very much, Dad" said Night as he ran up to him and hug his father once more "I had the best day of my life!"

"Me too Son, the best day ever" said Flash as he hugged him and slightly gave Twilight a wink

(If you wonder why Flash wink at Twilight its because its not the only best moment of his life. And I think you can guess what the others are for him and Twilight)
