The Last Sontaran- Part 1

I do not own Doctor Who, Torchwood, or The Sarah Jane Adventures and I am not making a profit off of this. I only own my OC.

Thank you for all your reviews, favorites, follows, and story alerts.

After a couple weeks I got into an easy routine. I would go to work at Torchwood on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday I would visit Martha at Unit and be the liaison between UNIT and Torchwood, trying to smooth thing out between our two groups. UNIT didn't like us very much which is understandable, Torchwood was responsible for the Battle of Canary Wolf.

On Friday I would visit Sarah Jane and the kids, getting to know them better and sometimes helping them on adventures and with their homework. Luke and I had the grown not born talk a couple times and after every time he would become more confident in himself.

On the weekends Jack and I had our time alone. We turned off all our electronic communicators and unplugged the phone cord and just watched movies, or hung out talking.

Today was a Tuesday and I was at Torchwood, trying to set up meeting, or cancel some if necessary. I had become Jack's personal PA and lead negotiator. I had never done this job and it was exhausting.

I ran up the stairs two by two holding a stack of papers with one hand and my other hand pressed on my bluetooth. "No, no. That is not your jurisdiction." On my free time I had learned a few alien languages from the database. At the moment I was speaking with some Jadoon. I sighed. "Don't talk about constitutional rights! This is a level five planet! The people will panic."

I passed Owen on the left who looked at me as if I had lost it. Since I was speaking Judoon what I was actually saying was, "Mo flo jo co blow flow ho! Mo jo vlo flo co!" I resisted the urge to laugh at his expression.

I knocked at Jack's office door which was already open and switched back to english. "Jack, can you please tell these Jadoon that they can not send a platoon to a concert at Madison Square Gardens no matter who the singer is."

Jack looked up from his laptop and sighed. "Again?" He asked.

I nodded throwing my hands up, exasperated. "Apparently they like Rock music. Who knew."

"Give me the phone." I passed Jack the phone, Jack took it and started talking. "No. We've already talked about this." I walked out of the office and heard my office phone ring.

I sighed and ran to get it. "This is Susan Anderson this better be worth my time."

"Oh good, Susan." Said a panicked Maria. "Help! It's Sarah Jane and Clyde! They've been captured by a Sontaran! Luke and I ran when the Sontaran tried to get us but we got separated and-" I put down the pile of papers I was holding on my desk, switched to my cell and grabbed my coat and car keys to Ground Two, leaving the keys for Ground One incase of an emergency and ran to the car.

"Okay Maria, deep breaths." I heard her do as I say. I thought for a second then remembered. Ah, this was The Last Sontaran episode in The Sarah Jane Adventures. "Tell me what happened. First tell me if you called your Dad."

"Yeah, just before I called you. Well Mr. Smith told us of a report that people were saying they saw strange lights in the sky over village called Goblin's Copse. Mr. Smith said that there was no connection but Sarah Jane thought to investigate it just in case."

"She was very right to do that." I said as I pulled onto the highway heading in the direction of the country. "What happened next?"

"We went to a place which had the Tycho Project radio telescope-"

"An observatory." I said.

"Yeah. The Sontaran knocked Sarah Jane out. We ran but he captured Clyde. Clyde ran to by us time. Please, please come!"

"Don't worry Maria. I'll be there soon. What ever you do, do not engage the Sontaran. They are more dangerous than you can possibly imagine." I said hanging up. I put the police lights on and the siren sounded. I sped up into the country.

I pulled up to Sarah Jane's car the same time Maria's Dad and Mum pulled up. I got out, slamming the door and walked over to Alan. "Hello Alan."

"Where's Maria?" Alan asked, straight to the point. He got out of the car.

"Susan, you're in on this too?" Chrissie asked.

"Yep!" I said grinning. "Alan, have you called Maria?"

"Yeah, just doing it now." Alan replied.

"I thought you said they were at a telescope." Chrissie told Alan.

"Yeah, well obviously the telescope must be near." Alan replied.

Alan's cell phone rang on speaker but the answering message. "This is Maria. Try me again later." Alan closed the phone without leaving a message and put it back into his pocket.

"Oh, she's still not answering, then. Maybe the battery's dead."

"Well, where do we go now, Alan? Maria's in danger, and I hope I don't have to remind you whose fault that is." Chrissie said.

"It's not Alan's fault." I snapped at Chrissie. "Maria is one of the bravest persons that I know. And it's not just your daughter that is in danger from what Maria told me. The whole world is, including you so stop arguing about who's fault it is and lets save the world, shall we?" I turned around and walked to the trunk of the car and opened it, sorting through the stuff that I would need.

"And who the hell are you to tell us what to do?" Chrissie yelled while she walked over.

"Chrissie." Alan said in an exasperated voice.

"It's alright Alan." I said. I took off my coat to reveal my Torchwood uniform, all black suit, very much like Natasha wore in the Avengers, but it wasn't that tight, now that I thought about it more.

Chrissie and Alan stared at my outfit while I put on my holster that Jack got me which held two guns on either side of my hip and a spot for my sonic pen. I didn't have anytime to get them to trust me so I started off big. "I work for Torwood, came from a parallel universe, saved the Earth so many times you probably weren't aware of and traveled with an alien Time Lord called The Doctor throughout space and time saving civilizations you haven't even heard of or possibly imagine. Yes, there are aliens. Yes we have invasions constantly and your daughter is part of the group of people who try to stop them from occurring. She's a hero and the more time we waste arguing the more time that Sontaran has for destroying Earth. So, are we good?"

Chrissie and Alan stared at me with their mouths wide open, not saying a thing. I smiled. "Good. Lets get going." I shut the trunk, locked the car and ran off into the woods with a dumbfounded Chrissie and Alan chasing after me.
