I totally forgot to mention! Camperkid18 and I aren't collaborating on this one anymore, like I said we were in the first chapter… from now on you're all stuck with me! Sorry!
And there will be another Ride update soon. Stick with me!
"I don't get why you're so angry," James chuckled as he flopped backwards on to the hotel bed, a little bit more than tipsy.
"I'm not angry, who said I was angry?" Logan said as he bent over and helped his secret-lover take his shoes off.
"I know you are," James said quietly. "You've been weird lately."
Logan stood up and looked down at James on the bed, who was looking right back with his big, beautiful, hazel eyes.
"Weird how? I'm just tired," Logan shrugged, removing his jacket.
"You don't love me anymore," James pouted.
Logan shook his head with a weak smile. He held out his arms to get James to sit up and take his jacket off.
"You don't, do you? I knew I shouldn't have been talking to Dak," James sat motionless as Logan tried to tug his clothes off—for once, not in a sexual way. While he had his arms tangled up in James' shirt (still on his torso), James flopped back down again on his back, bringing Logan down with and on top of him.
"Ugh, James. C'mon," Logan rolled his eyes as he struggled to disconnect himself from James—to no avail. "I'm trying to help you right now."
"You would help me if you convinced me that you weren't mad at me for talking to Dak."
Logan could agree to that. Although he was somewhat threatened by Dak, he wasn't upset with James for that. James had given him so many reasons not to be intimidated by Dak—Logan was simply just upset with himself right now. He couldn't figure out why he wasn't happy lately.
He let out a sigh, still propped up on top of James' muscular chest. He finally pulled his arms out from both under and inside his lover's shirt, and was able to make full eye contact with James as he promised: "I'm not mad at you for talking to Dak."
James closed his eyes in relief and smiled.
"Ok," he sat up ever so slightly (he was strong enough to do that with Logan still on top of him) so they could finally peel off his shirt. Once that was done, they lay flat together, Logan on top and the shirtless James beneath. Logan listened closely to his friend's breathing, which was getting slower due to the drowsiness the alcohol was causing. James started humming a tune as he traced his fingers up Logan's spine—causing the smaller boy to shiver like crazy.
"Boys only want love if it's torture…" James sang aloud, haunting Logan's thoughts as he shriveled under his lover's touch. He rolled off of James' torso and sat on the edge of the bed, confused at what he was feeling. The bed bounced a little and he watched as James pulled his legs up on the bed so he could crawl up behind Logan.
"Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya…" James sang into Logan's ear, suddenly right behind Logan on the edge of the bed. Logan closed his eyes—trying to block everything out right now. Why couldn't he invest himself into the present and ever so perfect moment? He had a beautiful boyfriend—well, secret boyfriend. But was he even Logan's secret boyfriend? Regardless, Logan had total control over an insanely attractive, drunk friend ready to do just about anything for the boy-genius in a hotel suite reserved just for them.
"Loooogan," James purred. "What do you want to do? My shirt's already off."
It would be wrong for Logan to take advantage of James in this state—not that it hadn't been done before. This time, however, it was a way to justify his mixed up emotions. But oh, that felt good, he thought to himself as he felt a pair of velvety lips brush against the back of his neck. Soon those lips were caressing every angle of his neck. Goosebumps rose up on every inch of Logan's body.
"James I—" he shuddered, trying to opt out of what was about to occur. He couldn't let himself forget that lonely, empty feeling he was dwelling on earlier. Or maybe…No. "James stop…please."
Logan's lame attempts led nowhere, as James' arms were soon around Logan, and pulled him back on to the bed. In a mix of drunk, slow movements, James managed to remove Logan's shirt and straddle his smaller boyfriend's waist.
"Boys only want love if it's torture," James sang again, as he slowly grinded his hips back and forth—nearly killing Logan. Hey, the passion was still there.
He still wanted James more than anything—and for right now, that was good enough for Logan. He grinned up at James, which earned a smile back from the tan, hazel-eyed boy. "Nice to see you smile again, I missed that."
James bent over so that his face was hanging just above Logan's. They stared straight into each other's eyes—the sexual tension growing stronger by the second. He felt James' hips continuing to grind slowly against his, driving Logan to maximum insanity. He wanted so badly to close the tiny gap in between their lips, but wasn't going to make the first move.
"Kiss me already," Logan whispered, staring at James' lips hovering just an inch away from his.
"Ok," James nodded, and slowly leaned into Logan, pushing his lips against his boyfriend's. It felt so right at first—but then it began to feel like the first time they kissed. It felt like that night when James had him pinned up against a wall on the tourbus, kissing him in a secret manner. That was when Logan was still oblivious and naïve. Oblivious to the pain that James would be causing him for over a year—naïve in the way that he believed at that moment that he and James would love and take care of each other forever. They were going to be the couple that everyone aspired to be. But then James ripped it all away from him—they had to stay a secret.
Logan's thoughts haunted him as James pounded into him that night. He lay quiet, flat and lifeless when they finally decided to close their eyes and fall asleep that night. That night, he finally accepted that he wanted this pain to stop.
But to make the pain stop, he was going to have to make a sacrifice.
He had to end this fucked up relationship with James.
Hope you liked it. I know it was short, but I'm really happy with where I'm taking this story next. I finally found the inspiration again-and I'm really hoping that you Rushers are still out there reading it :)
Review and let me know what y'all think!
