Walking into town I reminisce on the last time we did so, that was the day that Tobias and I first kissed, the day in the snow where I was the luckiest girl in the world. Well, I say luckiest, undoubtably there are ones luckier, ones who have won the lottery or ones who have 'saved the world' yet I was with Tobias, I was with the one who I liked and I found out he liked me back. It was unbelievable.

The ground has since changed, like the school, it's no longer a snow globe of beauty, the branches of trees are bare twinkling ever so slightly from a light dusting of frost. Tower blocks loom over head as we pass the chasm's roaring mirky water. I was told that once a year someone jumps from there to their death, however I just can't picture it. Everyone at school seems so happy, they seem as if they have no reason to plummet to their death, but it will happen; whether it's today or at the end of the year in June, it will happen.

Zeke and Uriah are walking ahead of Tobias and I, I grab his hand gently so that it's not entirely obvious we're holding hands and if someone turns around we will be able to drop each other's hand quickly.

"This is going to be hard isn't it?" Tobias mutters.

"Extremely, look at us now. I mean we can't go ten minutes in each other's presence without wanting to climb all over each other." I jest.

"You make it sound worse than it is Tris, I mean we could go at least fifteen minutes," this is what I like about Tobias and I, we get each other. Whether we get small hints the other's dropping or if it's each other's humour, we pick up on it.

"Well if you can go fifteen minutes maybe I should go and spend time up ahead with Uriah, or Zeke, I haven't spent much time with him."

"I wouldn't if I were you, Shauna might get mad," Shauna - I've heard about her, yet I know nothing.

"Shauna?" I question wanting to know more information.

"Yeah, you've probably seen her, she's quite tall, blonde like you. She hangs out with Zeke loads," Still, I can't picture her which is quite strange seeing as I've been at this school for months and that she's dating my friend.

"You'll have to point her out to me," I ask.

"Of course, actually I think that she's meeting Zeke in town today because her flight gets in about now."

"So, Zeke's going to go meet Shauna at the bus stop in ten minutes so I thought that maybe us three can go and get food and stuff," Uri offers up.

"Actually I think I should be going now, " Zeke interjects. We're sitting in the same coffee shop we were those few weeks ago. The same hustle and bustle fills the room. Students of the nearby university sit in the corner of the room typing away on their laptops as they work hard on essays. A ginger young mother sits with her blonde baby, a miniature replica of herself often the baby lets out a giggle and I can't help but to look over at them and hope for the same one day.

Zeke stands up out of his chair and shuffles past me leaving Uriah, Tobias and I.

"You guys need to be more subtle. Seriously, holding hands on the way here? It's day one of people being here and if you're trying to keep this," Uriah gestures between us," secret, you're going to have to be better than that."

"Shit," I mumble under my breath.

"When did you figure it out?" Tobias asks.

He lets a smug little smile show; typical of him now," Somewhere between you two getting cozy before we came out and seeing you two holding hands in corner of my vision. Now, is this a secret?"

"Yes, of course it is. I mean we've only been going out for a few weeks. What would happen if we break up after telling everyone? It would be awkward; so we were going to wait. " I explain, Tobias sits in his chair shoulders hunched, concerned about the future for our relationship.

"And will it continue to be?"

"Yes! Uri, we'd really appreciate it if you didn't tell anyone, not Will, not Marlene not Chris or Zeke, anyone!"

"Okay then, I'll keep up my end of the deal, but you two are going to have to be more subtle, I mean continue how you have been and everyone will know within the week," he warns us.

"Yeah, sure we will, of course." I sigh.

"You guys didn't even put up a fight," Uriah jeers.

"Well, you saw us holding hands, didn't you?" Tobias excuses.

"Yeah, but usually you two would have come up with some crappy excuse that would only make me more suspicious. "

"Well, you know. It feels good to tell someone - even if it's you. I mean, now you get to put up with us being all lovey - dovey for the next hour or so when the others aren't here," I sneer, he throws me a look of disgust, I'm not regretting telling him right now, I can easy torture him.

"No, no, no. Rule one no kissing in front of me, no talking about kissing or anything like that either. Please, dear God," Uri begs like a little puppy wanting food.

"Well, " I pull Tobias closer to my face, " I can't guarantee that," and I kiss Tobias. Right there in the open, I pull Tobias' face close to mine, only to imagin e the look of disgust on Uriah's face. I can feel his smile pressed against my face and I can't help but to grin back.

"Stop sucking faces. Oh my God, you two are disgusting," yet we keep close for another minute or so before pulling back and laughing, I press my face into Tobias' shirt and feel his chest move with each perfect laugh.
