Night decision
Two days later Skyangle, Crescent and Lightning bought Night to Ponyville`s hospital. Night was quickly cleared from major injuries and was bandage up all over his body and face. Twilight and Flash went to see they son as soon as the heard he was back.
"NIGHTWING!" shouted Twilight as she ran towards him and hug him hard
Night made a weird face showing he was in great pain
"Twilight!" said Flash as he look at his son`s painful expression
"Sorry I`m just so happy that your alive!" said Twilight as she kissed him on the head
"Me too" said Night as he look at his parents with one of his eyes
"Lightning we are grateful" said Flash as he bowed at her "They is no way that he could repay you"
"Very grateful" said twilight as she hug her "And I`m sorry for earlier"
"It`s alright Twilight any mother will understand" said Lightning as she thought about her foal
"Highness" said a royal guard as he walk toward
"Yes" said Lightning as she glance at him
"I don`t want to intrude but King Snow still doesn`t know where you are" said the guard
Lightning stare in completely shock
"Oh ponyfeathers!" said Lightning as she parted from Twilight "Twilight! Flash! It was nice to see you but I need to go or Snow...well I don`t know what he will do" as she opened her wings
"Bye Lightning!" said Twilight and Flash as they waved at her
Lightning ran out of the hospital "Hurry! Hurry!"
"Come on Night let`s go home" said Twilight as she help him out of the hospital
One week later Skyangle and Crescent were summoned at the Kingdom and were punish for breaking in the castle. With three days of community service but were grateful to see a major security problem. Skyangle and Crescent came to see Night many times but not at the same time luckily. Eventually Night return to his own place and to finish healing up o he could return to duty.
"Nighty!" said Skyangle as she tap on his window
"Skyangle" said Night as he stood up in his brushed and sore body "How are you doing?" as he open the window so she could get in
"I should be asking you that" said Skyangle as she folded her wings
Night gave a chuckle and smiled at her "Good point" as he wrap his wings around her "Anyways you have a reason right?"
"Well...when you disappeared I realized that how much I got worried and it only made me love you more when we found you" said Skyangle as she blush
"I never answered you before I left" said Night as he hug her in his hooves
"No" said Skyangle as she sadly look away while in his hooves
"Well I think I know what my heart wants" said Night as he tenderly look at her
"You do!" said Skyangle in a hopeful but not too hopeful tone
"Yes meet me in the ark tonight" said Night
"Alright" said Skyangle
A few hours later Crescent came over to his house as well
"Hey Night how are you doing?" ask Crescent as she walk in the house
"Sore but soon I can return to duty" said Night as he closed the door
Crescent sadly and worriedly look away from him "Are you really going to go back?" ask Crescent
"I am" said Night
"Why? You saw what could happen to you!" said Crescent as she stump her hoof
"Crescent being a royal guard was and still is my dream. And now that I am, I don`t want to stop being what I am just because of one incident" said Night as he reassured her
"Night if you died many ponies will be sad and that mare you have in your heart will be cruse" said Crescent as she look at him
"I know that why I need to be careful for now on" said Night
"Night before you left you never answered my question?" said Crescent
"I know" said Night "I`ll tell you tonight at the park"
"Are you sure about your choice?" ask Crescent
"I am when I was in that cave I had lots of time to think" said Night
"Then I`ll see you tonight" said Crescent as she walk out of the house
Meanwhile Skyangle was thinking about tonight and what his answer will be and was wondering why did he take so much time.
"There are not many reason why he took so much time?" question Skyangle "One could be that he doesn`t feel the same or...another mare! But who could it be?"
Skyangle thought about it for a while and realized who it was! The only friend he made when she left! The only pony who was as worried as here!
"Crescent Quill" said Skyangle as he her eyes widen
Crescent was doing the same thing as Skyangle wondering why did Night take so much time to answer her. She came to the same conclusion as Skyangle did.
"He doesn`t love me and he`s not the type of stallion who will tell me straight out? That or he loves another mare?" said Crescent as she tried to figure out who it could be but it only took her a few minutes to guess who "Skyangle! Of course it could be here! Well I`m not going to let that witch take my Night"
The moment arrived tonight both Crescent and Skyangle will know their answer that they waited for so long. Skyangle waited for Night to arrive when she heard hooves walking towards her.
"Nighty...!" said Skyangle as she turns around to see "Crescent!"
"Skyangle!" said Crescent as her jaw drop "I KNEW IT!"
"Me too" said Skyangle "Who love Nighty?!"
"Well I`m not here for the park" said Crescent as he stare was full of hate
"Well neither I`m I" said Skyangle
"Night going to pick me you know" said Crescent as she walk pass her
"Nighty will pick whoever he wants to" said Skyangle "You can`t force love"
"Only a desperate mare would says that!" said Crescent
"Crescent! Skyangle! You both made it!" as they both heard Night`s voice
"Hey Nighty!" said Skyangle
"Night" said Crescent
"I suppose you both know why it took me so long" said Night as he folded his wings
"We DID!" said Crescent as she gave Skyangle a dirty look
"Anyways are we here" said Skyangle as she smiled at him
"You've both waited for my answer to both of your questions and when I was in the cave I realize who I wanted to be with" said Night
"So your heart knew at that moment" ask Skyangle
"My heart knows who it wants to be with, it wants to be with this mare until the end of my days" said Night as he look at them both "And one of you will be hurt but I don`t want it to affect our friendship. I want to be friends forever even tho it will hurt but you will find a stallion out there just for you"
"Nighty it`s okay go and be with Crescent" said Skyangle as she turn away from him
"So your heart wants to be with me!" said Crescent as she smiled with joy
"I`m sorry" said Night as he open his wings and flew into the air
Skyangle was about to fly off when Night suddenly landed in front of her
"Night you don`t need to console me I understand" said Skyangle as she force a smile
Night didn`t answer and just kiss her straight on the lips! As they parted Skyangle look at him in complete shock but just closed her eyes and return his kiss.
"My heart want to be with you" said Night as they parted once more
"My heart as well and I guess it always as" said Skyangle
"Crescent" said Night as he pay his attention to the heart broken mare "I'm very sorry you had to see that. I didn`t want any of you to see that! I`m sorry Crescent but you will always hold a special place in my heart"
"Not the place I wanted!" shouted Crescent "Why?! Why did you pick her! Over me?!"
"My heart did it wasn`t who was the best or talented or the most beautiful! I pick Skyangle because I knew she was the right one of me" said Night as he walk towards her
"So all those years meant nothing to you?!" demanded Crescent as she started to cry
"Of course not! It meant as much to me as it to you!" said Night as he hug her in his hooves
"Night I love you and there no other stallion out there like you" said Crescent
"There a pony for every pony you just have to find them" said Night
"NO!" shouted Crescent as she push Night away "THIS...THIS IS NOT OVER!" as she used a teleportation spell
"Crescent" said Night as he was starting to wonder if he made the right choice
"Nighty are you alright?" ask Skyangle as she put her hooves on his shoulders
"I don`t know Skyangle" said Night as he stare at the spot where Crescent vanished
