"What's Goten doing here, just what are you planning?" Vegeta asked before turning towards to let them into the house. "Bulma, where's Trunks?"

"He's in the gravity chamber, what's going on Vegeta?" Bulma asked walking out of the lab.

"I need to talk with him Bulma." Goku said. "It's important."

"Goku, is everything ok?" Bulma asked nervously while Vegeta walked out to get Trunks.

"For now, but things could get worse really quickly." Goku said. "That's why I need to talk with Trunks and Goten and teach them a new technique."

The moment Goku said that, Vegeta walked back into the house with Trunks.

"Hey Goten, what are you doing here?" Trunks asked curiously.

"Dad want's to teach us something cool Trunks." Goten said excitedly.

"Wait, you mean a new technique?" Trunks asked. "Sounds cool."

"Well Kakarot, what is this technique of yours?" Vegeta asked.

"It's called fusion, and it works by combining two warriors with similar power levels into a single being that's way stronger than either of them." Goku said. "If it works, you two could be even stronger than me or Vegeta easily."

"Wait, are you serious?" Trunks asked. "Stronger than you two?"

"Yeah, I'm positive." Goku said with a smile. "Ok, in order to use the fusion you need to make sure your energy levels are perfectly in sync."

The moment Goku said that, Goten and Trunks glanced towards each other and tried to match their power levels.

"Good, you've got the first part down, now for the actual technique." Goku said before entering a strange pose with his hands straight out to the side and his knees bent. "You guys need to be in perfect sync as you perform the fusion."

With those words Goku went through a sequence of poses.

"What kind of idiotic joke is this Kakarot, that isn't a fighting technique it's something you would see clowns doing at the circus." Vegeta said angrily.

"I'm serious Vegeta, this technique could easily make them a lot stronger than we are." Goku said. "Alright, why don't you guys give it a try."

"Right." Goten and Trunks said at the same time before trying the fusion technique.

The moment their fingers touched, a flash of light enveloped Goten and Trunks before fading to reveal a new warrior with white pants, and a gold and black vest with black and purple hair.

"What in the world, what just happened?" Vegeta asked in disbelief.

"Fusion." Goku said. "Oh yeah, you're going to need a name."

"Gotenks." the new boy said with a smirk. "You were right though, I'm completely out of your league."

His power is unreal, and he hasn't even transformed into a super saiyan yet, Vegeta thought in amazement.

"Nice, if the three of us work together we just might be able to take down Majin Buu." Goku said.

"So that's what this is about, you don't trust him either." Vegeta said calmly. "Let's save ourselves some time and wipe him out now."

"Don't bother, I'll take care of Buu easily." Gotenks said confidently.

"Well, for now we should wait and keep an eye on him." Goku said. "If things start to look bad we'll have to stop him."

"Oh yeah, I've been meaning to ask you something sempai." Gohan said suddenly.

"What's on your mind Gohan?" Akihiko asked.

"It's something that Shinjiro-sempai said, why is he so obsessed with forgetting the past?" Gohan asked.

"That's something Aragaki should tell you himself." Mitsuru said calmly. "It isn't our place to speak for him."

"Mitsuru's right, if Shinji wants to tell you about his past he will when it's the right time." Akihiko said.

"Alright, if you say so." Gohan said just before Buu walked up to them.

"Oh, is everything alright Buu?" Mitsuru asked calmly.

"Buu is ok." Buu said with a smile.

"Well in that case we should get some rest, it's been an interesting day and we all should spend some time thinking about how to deal with this Cell shadow." Mitsuru said calmly.

"What the, what's that?" Gohan asked suddenly.

"What's going on Gohan?" Akihiko asked.

"I don't know, but I just sensed something really strong." Gohan said nervously. "Whoever it was could be even stronger than Buu."

"Stronger than Buu, that's just great." Mitsuru said. "We'll discuss this more tomorrow."

"Alright, that sounds good to me." Gohan said.

"Yuka-tan, do you mind if I ask you something." Junpei asked seriously.

"What is it Junpei?" Yukari asked.

"Well, it's just everything that's been going on the past few days." Junpei said. "Did you ever think things would get this out of hand?"

"You mean everything involving Gohan right?" Yukari asked. "Yeah, to think things like that have been happening to him for years and we've been dealing with the shadows for less than a year."

"It really puts things into perspective, I mean the shadows are a threat but they're far from the only thing we need toworry about." Junpei said. "I just wish that we could do more than just fight during the dark hour, our power could be so much more useful if we could actually use it when it mattered."

"Junpei, I know how you feel but we need to have confidence in Gohan and his friends." Yukari said as Minato walked into the lounge.

"Oh hey Minato, what's up?" Junpei asked.

"I've been thinking about a few things and need to go check about them." Minato said. "If I'm right we may be able to summon our personas whenever we want."

"Hold on, you mean outside of the dark hour?" Yukari asked. "Could that even be possible?"

"I don't know, but if what we learned about Gohan's energy is true, if he can use it outside of the dark hour we should be able to summon our personas outside the dark hour too." Minato said.

"Well if we can make sure you let us know." Junpei said with a grin.

"Right, I'll let you know what I find out." Minato said calmly before walking out of the dorm.

(Goten and Trunks have mastered the fusion, and Minato is going to learn if personas can be summoned outside of the dark hour. Next chapter Elizabeth will return to the dorm. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
