I don't own Divergent, Veronica Roth does!

"Shit. Again," I mumble.

"Please at least try to keep this secret, I mean guys I'm trying to keep my end of the deal, the least you could do is keep yours. " Uriah moans, obviously annoyed at us.

"Please save the lecture, we know. I mean look where we are, we're away from everyone, no one's going to notice us right?"

"Well, I don't know, I managed to notice you didn't I? What if Molly was here, or Peter? What would you do then?"

"Look, Uriah, we know, please-"

"-Then everyone would know and you would probably get into a fight most likely with Molly with her ever dying love for you Four!"

"How did everyone realise she liked me, but me?" Tobias interrupts.

"How could you not? She's been pretty damn obvious."

"Well, as I said earlier this year; I thought that she just wanted to be our friend! She acted the same around me as she did with any of you!"

"Four, you're getting off topic! You guys could have been caught!" Uriah seems almost furious, but it doesn't affect him does it?

"We know," I whisper in defeat, " I see where I've gone wrong Uriah, please leave it," I don't make eye contact as I speak," I see we could have been caught, but we weren't thinking, no one we know are back in town so we thought we could get away with it, or well we didn't' think. Is that okay?" he doesn't say anything back.

"Okay. We need to go, Zeke's met up with Shauna, you should meet her too," and he turns to walk down the hill.

"Is he okay? " Tobias whispers as we walk behind.

"I think so, but he's just moody, well you know him better than I, you tell me," I respond to him keeping distance to hide our relationship.

"Really I don't think so? It's between you and Marlene as to who knows him best? haven't you seen how he spends all his time with you or her? Should I be worried?"

"No, trust me, I'm into you and only you," I grin from ear to ear. He trusts me, I can see it.

"Do you recon it's Marlene? Are they in a fight?"

"A fight like couples do?"

"Well, yeah? They are in a relationship you know," Tobias says as if it is the most obvious thing.

"Since when?" I haven't heard of this. Never throughout our friendship has he mentioned that he's dating anyone, let alone the girl who seems to dislike me.

"Since about I don't know, November? "

"And yet he never told me."

"Well," he sighs and scratches the back of his head," there was a time when he thought that you liked him, he thought that because you guys spent so much time together that you had feelings for him. He didn't want to tell you incase you became some crazy, jealous bitch."

"Understandable, I guess," but still I can't believe that Uri thought I liked him and didn't tell me? And once more, more importantly, he didn't tell me about him and Marlene, " so that's why she hates me."

"She's disliked you for a while, Tris. You instantly got along with Uriah and she, therefore, disliked you."

"What if when we come out, will she still hate me then?"

"She probably will, maybe she'll conspire that you two are in a secret affair. "

"I sure hope not. "

We returned to the coffee shop from which we once came. The aroma of crushed beans spills into the air, people chat on phones and to each other. Several tired students slouch over their laptops hurriedly typing up essays due presently. In the corner sits a couple; Zeke and Shauna. Shauna has hair, longer than Lynn's, but the same colour. The notice us and wave us over.

"So you must be Tris then!" Shauna jumps up.

"Yes, Shauna! I can't believe I haven't met you before," she shakes my hand and flashes me a bright white grin.

"Four, it's been a while! Uri, haven't you grown?"

"It's been a fortnight, I haven't grown. " he says, still annoyed.

"Well, aren't you grumpy today?"

"It must be his time of the month, " Zeke chirps in.

"I'm not a bloody girl, Zeke." he hisses.

"Bloody," Shauna laughs, "get it?" I join in with her with Uri giving both of us dirty looks. " Okay then, Uri, we'll leave you be."

"So Tris," she sits back down," I've heard so much about you. How have we never met? " Shauna's like most girls in dauntless in the way she looks, from her earlobe to cartilage she has piercings, each stud black. Her hair is pulled back into a messy pony with a few small wisps falling over her face; she's beautiful.

"It's crazy, honestly," even though I'd not heard of her before, I shall say that I have, I'll be polite, "I swear we probably should have met months ago. " The shoulder of het tank top falls down slightly revealing her tattoo; a swirl of black cascades across her clavicle.

"I like you, Tris. I feel we're going to get on well, you've met my sister right?" She asks.

"Yeah, I have. I haven't spoken to her much though, she's talks to Marlene mostly. "

"They've been inseparable for years now, you'll get used to it at some point. " we both laugh and I look over to the boys, they seem to be having an in depth conversation. "What do you think they're talking about?" She whispers before she takes another sip of her drink.

"Probably why Uri's pissed off."
